Do Not Spam

I am getting an increasing number of complaints from members saying they are being "spammed" by other members. They are receiving general messages not intended personally to them.

Please refrain from using group messages to friends except only when absolutely necessary. One personal message to a friend is better than a 100 impersonal ones.

A reminder...
AllAboutGod.net is a place to grow in our love for God, to make disciples and encourage one another in the faith. Do not use this network to solicit (ask) for donations or promote commercial interests. We will investigate all reports of solicitation. Members who use TheNET for solicitation may be banned from the network. Don't let this happen to you.

If you receive unwanted messages follow this procedure:

1. Reply directly to the person and tell them that you no longer wish to receive such messages and request they remove you from their list.

2. If you continue receiving such messages from the same person, use the "Report an Issue" link at the bottom of each page to report the spammer.

3. Open the message from the person and click the link at the bottom which say "Block Messages" from this person.

4. Remove the person from your friends list and they will no longer be able to send you messages. (Note: if you are a member of a group and the message is coming from a group member, report the issue to the group creator or leave the group).
