The other day I was reading where someone had broken down each verse of Psalm 23 into different categories. I then had the desire to break it down into the different attributes & Names of God. Now, I'm not a theologian, Bible student or anything. I'm a simple woman with a Hebrew Concordance & a Bible. So, I may have a few names & attributes in with the wrong verses. Feel free to correct anything. I know I just had a great time doing this.
The Lord is my shepherd because He is my Jehovah Raah, my Shepherd.
I shall not want. He is my Jehovah Jireh, my Provider.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He is my Peace, my Jehovah Shalom.
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness as my Adonai Tzidkenu, Lord my Righteousness.
For His Name's sake. My great Eheh asher Eheh, I Am Who I Am.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, as He is Mechayeh Metim, the Lifesaver to the dead.
I will fear no evil for He is my Jehovah Nissi, my Banner and Victory
for Thou art with me as my Jehovah Shamma, the Lord is there
Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me as my Elohei kohl-Nechamah, my Lord of Comfort
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies as my El Gibbor, God the Strong, Hero & Warrior as well as Melekh HaGoyim, King of nations
Thou anointest my head with oil, my Ruach HaKodesh kasher dibber, Holy Spirit
my cup runneth over, my El-Channun, the Gracious God
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me my Avi HaRachamim, Father of mercies
all the days of my life, my El Olam, Everlasting God
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever with Avinu Shebashamayim, Heavenly Father.
