Ever since the Lord helped me to start counting the costs...it's actually given me time to think about death.
We will all die [well there will be those who are raptured and they will be alive. That is the exception]. Death is only a transition from this life to the next. Thinking about my own mortality has helped me to appreciate His Grace so much.
I'm a sinner saved by His precious blood.

At the end of Steve Arterburn's book "Healing is a Choice" is a Forty-day Challenge. If you take his challenge everyday for the next forty days it will take you about five minutes to read this devotional. I found for myself it had great significance reading it aloud. In Mark 4:35-39, Jesus and the disciples were going to the other side of town. They decided to take Jesus along with them in their own boat and the bible recorded that other (little) boats followed them. Then violent storms arose; almost drowning the boat until Jesus stilled the waves. Needless to say the disciples were terrified.
