Not guilty by the blood of Jesus

Accusations is a charge or claim that someone has done something illegal or wrong. Yes my friends the devil has come to accuse us. And he wants  us to be burden down with guilt. And  he
constantly stands before God our father to find fault. As the word of God says Rev 12:10-Then  I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, " Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of  our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of brethren, who accused them before our God day…

Too much focus on Heaven?

Sorry if my title sounds anti, I am sure it got your attention. The reason for this post is a person's frame of mind. It makes me wonder how many people are focused on the concept of Heaven only because it is better than the alternative? Don't get me wrong, I think about the beauty and greatness that is the destination that I am working towards. I think of the elimination of the pain in my joints and also being free of all sin. But, it isn't what I think about. There is a time and a place…

God is your refuge

Many of us are wondering as we look at the current new events, can I live in safety with so much violence that is going on. And the answer is yes. Because if you have made Jesus your Lord and Savior. You do not have to be afraid of calamity. As the word of God says in Jeremiah 16:19- O Lord , my strength and my fortress, My refuge in the day of affliction. And besides you abide in the shadow of the Almighty God. You are not putting your trust in created gods. But the real living God.…

Praise Jesus! I'm understanding better

Praise God! I think I finally realize a way He's using my flaw in having trouble communication/expressing myself.

While,I mess up verbally [I can talk it's just I have a hard time expressing how I feel] I'm able to learn first aid. I can show Jesus' love by helping others who need first aid. I already know how to do a pressure bandage and have started to relearn CPR.  All glory go to Jesus and His…

Sarah; The Stunning Mother of Nations.....

Hello! This is just a quick thought for ladies and women in all age-categories. I was reading about the life of Sarah in the Bible and some thoughts came to mind about her beauty which was described in two outstanding incidents. A Heart that Loves, and keeps on loving.....

A Heart that Loves, and keeps on loving. Ephesians 4.29-Ephesians 5.5

The intense afternoon heat had passed, though the early evening was pleasantly warm. A group of young people came together in the middle of summer to stay connected—to God and to each other. As I think of it, snapshots linger in my mind of first this one face and then another…

I hope He uses my flaws...

I have a lot of flaws. Well,I think I do have OCD as well as a flaw. Those flaws can be put into catagories.

Digestive issues. Coconut, peanuts [stangly the candy products like Reeses and Almond Joy don't have the same effect as regular products. I can breath if I eat the candy] and blackberries give me shortness of breath. Blueberries are even worse though. It is so hard to breath if I eat anything blueberry. It's more than shortness of breath. It's like someone has cut my air…

Imitate god. Ephesians 4.29-5.8

Imitate god. Ephesians 4.29-5.8

“Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do…” Sure Paul, I will endeavor to imitate God. Now, where do I start? Left to my own devices, I think I would start at the beginning … the beginning of what I know about God … I would endeavor to be creative, because ‘In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.’ (Genesis 1.1) Paul does not leave us…

A true christian story

A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away.

As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the…

Humorous Church Stories And Short Funny Religious Writings

In Sunday School, they were teaching how God created everything, including human beings. Little Johnny seemed especially intent when they told him how Eve was created out of one of Adam's ribs. Inspired by their recent vote, my husband Jake created the below picture, "The Tiny Texan."…
