Sit and rest

Scriptural Readings: Ecclesiastes 3:7, Psalm 37:7, Job 6:24, Ephesians 2:6-7For so many obvious reasons a lot of us are currently living the most trying times in our lives. We continue to see and experience restlessness. From small scale to medium-scale and the most obvious larger scale. Our problems are compounded every day and it seems that these things will never come to an end. Is there a possibility that these things will one day be over? How long can we endure these things confronting us?…See More

It is all about intentions

Scriptural Readings: Acts 13:2, James 4:8, Matthew 22: 36-40Intention is all about planning including our feelings and all those sorts of things that we want. True enough we considered a lot of things arriving from these intentions. Considering the things and the time we gave and went through with these intentions as Christians, the question is…Is it God’s will?King James VersionActs 13:2As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work…See More

Demand and expectation

Scriptural Readings: Philippians 4:6-7,19; John 14:27Demand and expect are normal human behaviors. For some, these things become a habit. We have made laws twisted them and become accustomed to it and to the extent that it has transformed and taken them with us on having evil things in our lives. Abortion, divorce and the list goes on and to make things worst, we are trying to add more.As Christians, can we benefit from these laws?We are in a situation that we have to have needs and the worst…See More

A Perfect Journey.

Scriptural Readings: I Peter 2:11, Jeremiah 29:11We are on a journey. We are just passing through this world as the old saying goes but how do we see ourselves in this journey? As Christians we are told that we are going to be with God as He promised us when were done with our earthly lives. As Christians, we should see ourselves as God's vehicle. As we deal with a 24/7 cycle in our lives we should be driven by God's will but the journey has become difficult for us.A car will always have a bumpy…See More

What is the difference between a gun and a car?

Scriptural Readings: 1st Corinthians 3:19-20, Romans 1:21-22There will always be dissatisfaction or discontentment. Make sure about it. Otherwise we will not ask questions and look for better things in our lives. We will always need answers.Out from curiosity and discontentment rise our questions. Have we ever asked ourselves why in the first place we raised such questions? We know that when we reach dissatisfaction and we have to address this we are going to ask the question why do we have to…See More

No Christian is exempted.

Scriptural Readings: Matthew 10:30, John 11:26, Matthew 10:32, Galatians 5:22-23, John 15: 5,8How do many of us react with feelings in an instant? Making feelings as a gauge? Sometimes we do sometimes we don’t. We have to be honest to ourselves. One thing is true and that is the difficulty to choose between what we feel is right and our final decisions. Feelings and decisions are two different things that we have to settle. One way or the other we are going to make a decision and more often we…See More

“Lazarus come.....”

Scriptural Readings: John 10:27-28, John 11:43 A busted car engine is simply dead and cannot take us anywhere. It's dead engine needs someone to work on it again otherwise it is forever dead. The engine for whatsoever reason cannot receive communication from the different parts of the car making it dead, unproductive and worthless.John 10:27-2827 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch…See More

It’s difficult…it’s impossible.

Scriptural Readings: Matthew 19:26We always exert our effort our best if not most of the time at times with all the things that we do. During this time we attach the word difficult maybe at the beginning or at the middle and sometimes we end up concluding it’s impossible.Life itself is difficult. Rich people whom we think should not be having difficulties in life because of their riches would be probably having difficulties juggling their time how to maintain their riches. Difficult times like…See More

What we see should be what we should have seen.

Scriptural Readings: John 7:6, Matthew 6:33, James 4:2-4, Jeremiah 29:11, Proverbs 16:1-4, Psalms 1:1-4We tend to see life as just what we see it today and then comes next is tomorrow, next week, next month and so on. We can’t change this. We have to survive. The opportunities given to us should never be missed as we go through and tend to a 24 gruelling hour of punishment just to survive(Genesis 3:19). We have to make sure that we have to be on the safest side. A wonderful future. This is what…See More

The way the truth and the life of praise and worship are all that matters.

Scriptural Readings: John 14:6; John 4:23-24; Psalm 8:2; Matthew 11:25;21:16Our God inhabits praise. Eternity of praise and worship is the place where our God is. Have we ever asked ourselves why we praise our God? There are many reasons why.It is a fact that we will always look for the way the truth and eventually the life we are looking for. In order that we can have the things that we needed we have to come to a place where God is.John 14;6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and…See More

Beating the purpose

Scriptural readings: Romans 8:11-17; Galatians 5:19-25Life has a purpose. There is no doubt that most of us would agree but the things is sometimes we might have overlooked it. We might think that a grain of sand seems to be use less but if collectively taken inside a glass aquarium tank they become a part making a balanced ecology.Romans 8:11-17v.11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal…See More

The equation of forgiveness...Love.

Scriptural Readings: Romans 6:23; I John 1:6; Proverbs 10:12; 1 John 4:8; 19-20; Galatians 2:20; Philippians 4:13This word seems to be the most impossible thing for us to do. There were times we cannot even get close to compromise with it. What makes it difficult to forgive? Have we ever reached a time that we completely tell and felt the true meaning of this word forgiveness? What is the prize of being forgiven?Romans 6:23For the wages of sin is death. We have heard this verse countless times…See More
