My story with God: After a not so great childhood, at 17 I gave birth to my 1st child. God then continued to protect me from myself, potential danger & sinful ways. In my early 30s I was being guided to church. I kept straying. In fact, one night I found myself crying my eyes out for something very bad that I did that I thought I would never do. I thought to myself that I was so bad that even Jesus couldnt love me. I proceeded to plan how I would end my life. Nothing new, just always made me feel better. Never did it because of my child, but mostly because I always knew that my life was not mine to take & I did not want to leave one hell for a worse one. Anyhow, my thoughts were interrupted by an accident at the neighbors. I would say 3 days later..I came home from visiting my elderly neighbor. I laid down on my bed for what I call a cat nap. Later I was to realize that for once in my life my mind had been at peace..really quiet. Anyhow, my eyes flew opened when I heard a male voice say, "Jesus loves you & you will never die." I ran right back to my neighbor's. I was so scared that I hadnt realized the meaning of those words. From then on I have tried my best to not disappoint Jesus & keep my place in eternity. Of course, I have not been the perfect Christ follower..but who has been? And the story continues like this : When I was 33, I felt tired of leading the life that I was living. I shared this with God & asked Him, "When will you finally send me a good husband? One who will love & respect me. One that has a car & is hard working..etc etc. I told Him, "I would like to have a house & a baby. I would love to quit smoking." Lol, thats all I remember right now. I have this letter to God saved somewhere. Anyhow, 3 days later I met my husband. I knew he was the one. We were married 17 days later. Three months later I had a miscarriage. Three more months later I was once again pregnant. Two years after we got married I quit smoking cold turkey. It has now been 3 years and I still think it is a miracle. Three years after meeting my hubby I moved into my new house in which a few small miracles aka blessings occurred. So I was blessed with all that I asked for. A good husband (though not perfect lol), a baby, a house, and freedom from the Nicotine Monster. I would like to add, that I love knowing all that God has done for me. I love being able to see clearly now how He has always been there for me. But most of all..I love to feel His love.

Other stuff about me:: I am Hispanic. I love to read. I love looking at & watching my baby. I believe that once in a while I receive messages from God. I love everything about nature. I am scared of tree frogs & small lizards. I am beyond terrified of driving. If I vote in 2008, it will be the first time that I vote. I love spicy & cheesy foods.

I liked all the songs. I could hear the words fine. That matters to me.
When I heard "I can only imagine" I sat back and totaly enjoyed listening. I love "How Great Thou Art". One day when I was visiting my mom and dad in Arizona, early one morning my dad strumed his broken down yukeleli and sang How great Thou Art, right outside the bedroom window and I could hear him clearly but he sang very quietly. I've been missing my dad this evening. He was really nice man and a good dad. I loved him a lot.
I'm very thankful that I'm gonna see my dad again.
