back in college and terrified
College is a scary, terrifying, and wonderful place. I thank God for allowing me to go back to college. To be what he blessed my talents to be. College is exciting, challenging, competitive, and wonderous all at the same time. I pray that i can get through each day with God. As i struggle with learning new things. Thank you for the prayer request. I know that kind of xray can be scary. I have had one or two before and I was worried, but fortuneataly, everything checked out ok. I hope it will be ok for you too.
I love what you put down about your experience going back to college. I went to college and graduated in computer graphics back in 1995 and during the time I was going, I had alot of fun. I didnt "hang" with any crowd, or go party with anyone, but I liked it because I could meet a variety of friends that were a variety of ages. I had freinds that were 18-60 years old. I was 20 when I started. Oh boy, that was a long time ago it seems. Gee, I feel old at 35!Anyway, I really enjoyed the diversity of people and where they were in thier lives. I met alot of older ladies that were soo sweet and were soo fun to talk to because they kind of counseled me in a way, and i lookes up to them. I cant remember thier names, but I remember thier faces, I am eternally grateful that those older ladies who took the time to share with me thier experiences in certain seasons of life and the wisdom they have learned. Be encouraged. Those young ones are listening!! They may not seem like it, but they will remember what you are saying if they are looking for any help and guidance in thier hearts!!!
I have a good friend that is in her late 40's that has started college again. She was scared, but she is ok with it now. She doesnt know what she wants to be when she "grows up" bot she thinks she will find out sonner or later.
