Romans 5:6-8 (New International Version)6You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. 8But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
John Calvin once had this to say:
“Our wisdom, in so far as it ought to be deemed true and solid Wisdom, consists almost entirely of tw… Continue

One website I stumbled across recently is that of the relatively new Cafh cult, which can be located at http://www.cafh.org/english/index.htm. Below I have composed a detailed rebuttal to many of the assertions made on the site.

Cafh:- Throughout the world, members of Cafh meet regularly in small groups to study, meditate, and share ideas about inner work, always with the intention to learn, to expand our consciousness and to improve the quality of our lives and the communities in wh… Continue

The “God-of-the-gaps” mentality refers to a perception of God in which anything which currently can be explained by our knowledge of natural phenomena is considered outside the realm of divine interaction, and thus the concept of “God” is invoked to explain what science is, as yet, incapable of.
The idea is that as scientific research progresses, and an increasing volume of phenomena are explained naturalistically, the role of God diminishes accordingly. The major criticism commonly states that… Continue

I believe the Ice Age was almost certainly a direct consequence of the global Flood which would have largely disrupted world climate. It is Michael Oard, who is attributed to first coining the most popular creationist ice-age model which I briefly discuss here.Due to much volcanic activity during and immediately after the Flood, there would have been considerable volcanic dust and other particles trapped in the stratosphere in the decades preceding the Flood. Hi, Jonathan. I have a grandson by that name. He just graduated from High School (Merrillville, Indiana, USA) and wants to be an architect.
How did you become a Christian? I would be interested in your story, and your thoughts in response to my own story ( www.afoolforChrist.com ).
How familiar are you with the science of religious psychology? Have you read Anton Boisen's Exploration of the Inner World? Do you think it throws any light on Scriptures such as Mark 3:21, John 10:20, and Acts 26:24?
Another book which greatly influenced my thinking in the field of history is Oswald Spengler's Decline of the West. B.G. Brander's Staring Into Chaos (1998) is a very good compendium of Spengler's thought, as well as Toynbee's and Sorokin's. For some of my own thoughts on our historical situation and its relationship to our Christian faith, go to http://www.renewamerica.us/forum/?date=070903&a=82 .
Dear friend,
Greetings in HIs holy name!
Your are interested to know about my changes from Hindu faith to Christian faith. The fact is like this:I came to know about Christ by one of our far distance relative, who was a Christian (She is dead now). I accpeted Christ by attending yourth group meeting and guidance of a local pastor.
Thanks for adding me as a friend :) In all the times I've left and come back, that is the first time you've asked me to be your friend :P I'm marking it on the calendar :P not really (: Thanks again for adding me :)
