I'm passionate about...: Finding the simple things in life....smiles...laughter...sunsets...listening to testimonies about Jesus. Helping others. Patiently waiting for Christ's return.

My story with God: When you want the TRUTH as much as you want that first breath of air while drowning...that is when you will FIND it.

Other stuff about me:: Married for 18 years. (no kids) My husband has had 4 different cancers in 4 years. He is a walking miracle. (PRAISE THE LORD) I had strayed away from God; even to the point of hating HIM (..long story...); but watching my husband's painful struggles with chemo and radiation treatments and close calls with death (and 5 other friends in the past 15months suffer/die of cancer)...it has made me seriously rethink about life and why I am here.

I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say . . . 'I am a Christ ian' I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible but, God believes I am worth it.

When I say.... 'I am a Christian' I still feel the sting of pain. . .
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner who received God's good grace, somehow!
Pretty is as Pretty does... but beautiful is just plain beautiful!

It has been forever since we last talked! I truly miss you an dall the great conversations we once had. I was offline for some time to give my attention to some other things that needed it more than AAG. It was all God Ordained and I feel really good about obeying Him. I did accomplish alot! But anyway, Im back and ready to moderate. I cant wait to hear all that God has done in your life! He has always carried you through soo much! You and your husband are a blessing to this site and a true inspiration to us all with all that you have been through. I have been doing ok. I have good and bad days, but mostly good. I love my new church and I love all my new friends. Im painting at a church now which is really blessing me. I had a uncle commit suicide July 1st and it really devastated the family. There has been 2 suicides anyway in my family, so it has been really hard. But other than that, Im doing great. I hope you are too as well. You are missed and loved!!! Hope to hear from you soon!

Always remember to count our blessings each day, and to
thank God for them! For no matter what we have, when we
look around us, we find others who have less! So never feel
sorry for ourself, instead start counting our blessings, for that
should cheer u up indeed.

Now we know that when things disappoint us, we are sad and
often depressed. However it is written that we should: BE
JOYFUL ALWAYS; PRAY CONTINUALLY; GIVE THANKS IN
ALL CIRCUMSTANCES, FOR THIS IS GOD'S WILL FOR YOU
IN JESUS CHRIST. ( 1 THESSALONIANS 5:16-18 )

Therefore, never feel that God doesn't hear our prayers
because a prayer isn't answered the way we want, or something
goes wrong in our life. For our Heavenly Father always knows
what is best for us, and: HE WILL NOT LEAVE YOU NOR
FORSAKE YOU. ( DEUTERONOMY 31:6 )

So my friend, remember to always: GIVE THANKS TO THE
LORD, CALL ON HIS NAME; MAKE KNOWN AMONG THE
NATIONS WHAT HE HAS DONE for you!
( 1 CHRONICLES 16:8 )

In closing, MAY THE GRACE OF THE LORD JESUS
CHRIST, AND THE LOVE OF GOD, AND THE
FELLOWSHIP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT BE WITH YOU ALL,
now and always! Amen! ( 2 CORINTHIANS 13:14 )
