All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

I have been following the Harbinger with some fear and trembling and even some apprehension because of its explosive impact its going to have reality wise in this Hollywood  schooled culture we live in...we remember the quake that leveled  southern Cal in the early 1800s and that's  like back in the past so far we don't recall the what the social climate was like except now with all the gay acceptance everything has gone upsidedown..Brace yourselves for the times ahead by  upcoming September the money will be gone and the words spoken that were of blessing at ground zero will become a curse .....The tree we planted was a tree alright but not for blessing but for curse as a nation who has turned from God  Cursed are those things that we receive they  be few....sew in thousands reap a few ..till we be destroyed it can be turned around but Im thinking not going to happen because it is written in scripture.....I may be wrong proubly am maybe may not but America is Babbalon the Great which is Fallen which  smoke  of her destruction can be seen by merchants around the world will wail be cause of it....America was a place for outcasts, when the Jews left Europe  especially during the Spanish Inquisition, a lot of dear believers came here to America to escape catholic conversion by force ( do or die) almost like becoming a muslim  history does repeat itself.

Chip, Sorry,  I am  confused here. So what exactly is the message you are sharing? Thanks

Hi Chip, God bless you!

I'm a little confused too, and I've read the book. Not everyone has read "The Harbinger" by Jonathan Kahn. If I misspelled something, I'm sorry about that. Is it this year or next year, 2015? You also have information that I don't remember reading in the book. What are your other sources?

God's recipe for revival...

If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

This is from Discipleship Giving God Your Best by Greg Laurie...

The word "pray" is interesting. Of the 12 Hebrew words employed to express the single verb "to pray," the one used here means to "judge self habitually." Not "love self" or "esteem self" but "judge self," and that habitually.

To me, revival and the things that God wants, would be the place for us to focus. Maybe it is time for God to say...I have had enough of this! What about the psalmist and 83:1?

Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. (1 Chronicles 16:11 NIV)

A song. A Psalm of Asaph. O God, do not keep silence, do not hold your peace or be still, O God! (Psalm 83:1)

Agape love,

Mary

Thanks, I wanted to get on the same page. I would look through the book again, but my Gary took off with it.  He's reading it too.  I should have ordered more than 1 book, 5 copies would have been better. I wrote all over the book and dog eared the pages.  Gary gets the book and I can see in his face...What did you do to this book? I had to take out my tags and post-it notes.

Love,

Mary

P.S. I will check out the video. Thank you!

Hi Chip, I'm sorry I see you have in 2015 in the name of your discussion. I missed that. Where did you get that America is Babylon from Revelation? And you talked about the Jews leaving Europe especially during the Spanish inquisition and a lot of dear believers came here to America to escape catholic conversion by force. I don't remember seeing it in The Harbinger. Is it in another of Rabbi Cahn's teachings?

Love,

Mary

"...following the Harbinger with some fear and trembling and even some apprehension..."

Jesus said over and over - Fear NOT. If you cannot stand in fearless faith, there is something lacking in your faith. Fear and dread is a tool of Satan. Whether the end is today or tomorrow or in a century, we are to stand in faith, knowing that our Redeemer lives and our redemption is near.

If they come to cut your head off, do not kneel. Stand, look them in the face and smile, singing "my redeemer lives!!" All the rest of this is just incoherent fearful speculation and rambling. It's unhealthy.

Amen.

Hi Chip, God bless!

I still wish Rabbi Cahn would have covered the false prophets a lot more. I know, it's not what the book is about, but I do think they mislead Israel and gave them a false sense of safety. I've been around false prophets before and noted their false prophecies on my calendar. See in my thinking, they shouldn't object if I write it on my calendar. When it comes to pass, then hey it helps me to understand they're genuine. Have you ever done that? One person I'm thinking about he actually said..."And if this doesn't come to pass, then I'm a false prophet."  My thoughts were..."Really, well let's keep track of this." As it turns out, he was a false prophet and by his own words.

Do you ever wish you had Rabbi Cahn in front of you and you can ask him questions?

Love,

Mary

The Harbinger...wasn't that written as a fiction?  I never read it, but just wondering?

Hi Chip,

Yeah, I looked it up, because I love to read...it may not make claims that it is fiction, but it's being sold as a Christian fiction novel.  I have nothing to say about the claims that the book is making because I haven't read it.  What I would like to address is that yes, this whole wide world is a mess...not just here, everywhere.

When we read the news, it's getting pretty bad, isn't it?  Depressing to be honest, weighs heavy on the hearts of Christians when we see evil at every turn.  But we must be diligent in our walk, our prayer, and our witness for the Glory of the Lord.  We must continue proclaiming the Gospel no matter what the cost.

We are fighting a battle, it's a Spiritual battle.  The Bible alone is clear in the promises and the warnings of God.  I love to read sermons, books, devotionals, etc., but we must be very careful and not place any authority over God's Word.  That must be our final authority.

I know I especially like A. W. Tozer or Leonard Ravenhill, but I cannot hold them above my Bible.

I believe that you are crying out from the rooftops for people to turn to God before it's too late.
