Hi Dakota,

Thank you for asking this question. I only have a few minutes to give a quick response, but when I have more time later I will go into it further. God loves you, and he's thrilled that you are on a journey to get to know him more. When you sin, you must ask for forgiveness, and the Holy Spirit will slowly work in you to cleanse you and more and more you will find that the desire to sin will leave from you. You see, it is not something you are doing, but it is the work of the Holy Spirit. Be honest with God, He already knows anyway, He just wants to know that you agree that what you have done is wrong. Check out some of the other questions and conversations which have been posted, there may be some overlap, and you may find some of the answers you are looking for. We are sinners Saved by grace through faith. Just as Carla has said just repent.. ask God to cleanse you.

When you were saved God forgave you of your PAST sins. ( Romans 3:25) The modern teaching that God forgives sins past, present, future is not scriptural. Paul in Romans chapter 6, tells us that after we have received salvation by grace thru faith that we are to stop sinning. Paul said," ...How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer in them?" We can't. The Holy Spirit will immediately convict you of your sin, if you're sensitive of His presence. You should ask God to forgive you of the instance or obstacle and know that he will forgive you, if you ask him. He's always faithful to forgive us if we ask.
