Donald,
Yes, Dad passed in 2002, and Mom is still living here on earth, patiently waiting until God calls her home. The time has seemed to pass quickly but at first the grief and longing was very intense. If I could take away the pain you are feeling, I would. I pray God will minister to you in many ways during this time of your greatest need, and I ask Him to give you grace and comfort you and help you carry your heavy sorrow. Mom lives alone and she says she gets very lonely. You're going through a terrible and overwhelming time. It's OK to talk about it. I care. I want you to know that.

My heart breaks for you brother & I truly don't have any words for you other than I love you.

To Dave

So you would like to know where I am With my walk with god..RealyI don't where I am with god.Right now I think he is a little mmad with me.God washy salvation, redeemer my everything and i wouldgive my life for him.

Don Haines

Hi Donald,  I know everything you are feeling, I lost my husband about 2 1/2 years ago and am still battling with grief.  Please know that the LORD is all you need.  I have been there and do know this to be true.    You were gifted by the LORD to have had her for 59 years, WHAT A GIFT from God.

You don't need to understand, but God does.  The chief end of man is to glorify the LORD.  Give  Him your life, continue to follow Him. Love Him, give to Him Glory, follow Him, worship Him and that's what this world is about.....it's about Him.

I love you and I understand grief, but we, as people who have lost a loved one need not grieve like those who have no hope.  ! Thessalonians 4:13--But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

I am sorry about your loss

Hello Don, First I say that I am deeply sorry for the great loss you are grieving losing your wife and partner. My wife and I have been married for 40 going on 41 years.  She is "my" gift from God and I can certainly understand your sense of great loss and friendship. The great connection you and your beautiful wife shared will never be lost. That will remain in your heart forever. God placed her in your life so even though she is not physically with you she is always in your memories and your heart.

Our comfort is found in God's word, the Holy Bible.  Connection with our Heavenly Father is no further away than the book he gave us to help us realize the hope we can have through him. Jesus, our Savior comes alive to us through the New Testament. The Book of John is a great place to begin learning about Jesus and his love for us. I'm very happy that you are on this journey with me Don. I'm blessed all the more by the knowledge of who you are as my friend and Brother in Christ.

Your Brother in Christ,

Journeyman

Hi  journeyman

Thanks for the letter, made me feel a little better. You may not like this but it's the only thing I can come up with all the trouble that my wife death is causing

I just want to die thats all. If I could get God to go along  with this. Do you think he will go along with my idea or do you think he will make me wait.

You see I miss my wife so much I can't take it  much longer.I 've been with her for 59 years and I can't away any longer.Let me know what you think of my idea. Thank You Don Haines

Hi Guy  Yes its me Don Haines

How long does it take to get over madness

Yesterday was a very very bad day To be truefulI gryedlike a baby most of the day and thats with all my meds.Does God really know how bad it can get.

All I ccould think of was my wife and why she left  and went to heaven. Now all I have to do is hope I can die soon which don't look like it will ever happen

Thank you for being my friend.

I wish there was something I could do to help. I will be praying for you.

I encourage you to read 3 passages of Scripture asking God to give you peace and comfort:

1 Corinthians 15

1 Thessalonians 4 (especially from verse 13 to the end of the chapter)

Romans 8
