Greetings Prayer Room Participants,
Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.
There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.
Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.
If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.
(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

I had a typo Greg Wischoff so I had to delete my post & fix it or I would have lost my mind.

Greg, the temptation will be to tell your cousin everything all at once. If you feed a baby too much too fast, the baby will choke. Baby's need milk and cannot eat meat. Questions are good. You want him to come back to you with more questions. It means he's thinking about what you're saying.
I saw this in my devotionals this morning:
George Mueller said of faith, "Faith does not operate in the realm of the possible. There is no glory for God in that which is humanly possible. Faith begins where man's power ends."
In Biblical terms: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

I just got word that a cousin of mine is going to be moving into my house. HIs name is David. He is not a Christian. He doesn't go to church. So that means he doesn't believe in Jesus. So when I heard he wanted to move in for a while I thought good so we can share similar stuff we like. Like football. But on the phone he said that he might even go to church with me. Please be in prayer for my cousin. He needs Jesus. In the past he has thought about suicide so maybe this is good that he is moving in with me since I am the only Christian he really knows that I know of. Please pray for my cousin David to know Jesus.

God, I give You praise. You are great and wonderful. Thank you that we have Your love and Holy Spirit. Lord, thanks for giving Your life for us and redeeming us. I lift all these prayers to You and ask for healing, comfort and peace where needed. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

I'm still reading my book about praise and worship. I'm asking God to show me things that make Him smile that please Him. Jesus, what makes You happy? I want to know and understand Him better than I do.
