Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Lord Bless,

LT

Psalm 18

18 I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.

Thank You Father for Your faithfulness.  Indeed Your glory fills the earth. All around me I see Your presence.  Thank You Lord for the gift of Your Son whose sole mission on this earth is to bring us salvation.  I pray that like Mary I should be able to say 'YES' to what ever You call me to do in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Richard,

Thank You - This was beautiful.  My husband would have loved this.  I am going to print this out and make copies and put in frames.  I think it would make a beautiful Christmas present for all of our family and friends.

I thank God for you.

In memory of Jane Dickson's husband,

to her and the family..........

In my Father's house are many a mansion.

I inherit the place prepared for me,

Where long ago, a cross became my stanchion,

A pillar of His pain- compiling all misery.

I have hitched my wagon to that star,

That has shined brightly in my heart.

And I have traversed far,

Receiving generous blessings, which He did impart.

An establishment utterly unique,

Where eye has not seen, nor ear heard,

That wise men still seek,

A Kingdom of Heaven, wisely preferred.

I'm finished with matters of this world,

Which once seemed so highly proposed.

But as these issues are now unfurled,

They have become labeled......this case closed.

The Lord has called me to His place,

Along with those in His Book of Life,

To gaze upon His perpetual face.

Away from all pain and worldly strife.

Disturbed dreams, lost friendships, to be renewed,

Those who have already gone on, waiting to greet me,

Eager to fill a void.....long ensued,

And to all my loved ones......I wait for thee...........

Father, as we approach Christmas, I lift up families and friends to Your throne of grace.  Bless each and everyone present here with joy and peace.  I pray especially for those who have lost their loved one during the course of this year, that Your Spirit of Counsel guide them and comfort them as they spend Christmas without their loved ones. Fill their hearts with good memories of their loved ones and give them the understanding of their joy with You in Heaven.

Father, I pray specifically for sister Elaine who will be spending Christmaas for the first time without her husband.  Please comfort her and bring her and her children closer to You.  Bind them together in love so that they come together in harmony to celebrate the love and peace of Christmas.

I pray in Jesus' Name.  Amen.

Thank You Lord for all answered prayers.

:-( Unfortunately they didn't come. I know Cindy said she would and seemed interested. She said she'd talk to Russell about going.

They argue a lot and she spent 3 nights in jail recently and told me it was wrong and she should never have gone to jail. Now I'm worried. When I stopped in a bit ago, I said I missed you this morning. She had her head out the door, rolled her eyes to the right, looking towards the couch, and said well I'd planned to. Russell then said he'd been trying to get her to go to church for months but she won't get out of bed. At that point, Cindy said I didn't realize the time and overslept.

Please continue to pray for this family. I worry she may be caught in an abusive relationship.

Please say a prayer this morning that my neighbors come to church. I have invited them to see our Christmas choir. She said she hasn't been in a church for years. They are good people but unsaved. Their names are Russell and Cindy. They have 2 boys (2 and 4) and a 6 more old baby girl. Russell also was laid off just last month. He got another job but makes less than half what he did and they can't even give their kids anything for Christmas. We managed to get a few things through the church that hadn't already been earmarked for other kids. I am praying they come this morning and keep coming.

Father, from what JM is saying, I take it to mean that this lady isn't in You. I pray first & foremost that she is drawn by the Father. I pray that she opens her heart & You lift the veil so that she sees Who her Savior is. I pray You heal her spiritually Lord. Then, I pray that you heal her physically if it is Your will. Most of all I pray You are glorified regardless of the the outcome. I bless You Lord & thank You for everything You do for me. In Jesus' Name

Asking for prayers my fellow prayer warriors for a young woman who may be facing thyroid cancer. May our Father lift her up and heal her. May he fill her with a desire to seek Jesus. Father, open her eyes and heart to you. Comfort her family and may they all place their trust in you and keep you close. Healing prayers for your child.
