Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Lord Bless,

LT

In memory of Jane Dickson's husband,

to her and the family..........

In my Father's house are many a mansion.

I inherit the place prepared for me,

Where long ago, a cross became my stanchion,

A pillar of His pain- compiling all misery.

I have hitched my wagon to that star,

That has shined brightly in my heart.

And I have traversed far,

Receiving generous blessings, which He did impart.

An establishment utterly unique,

Where eye has not seen, nor ear heard,

That wise men still seek,

A Kingdom of Heaven, wisely preferred.

I'm finished with matters of this world,

Which once seemed so highly proposed.

But as these issues are now unfurled,

They have become labeled......this case closed.

The Lord has called me to His place,

Along with those in His Book of Life,

To gaze upon His perpetual face.

Away from all pain and worldly strife.

Disturbed dreams, lost friendships, to be renewed,

Those who have already gone on, waiting to greet me,

Eager to fill a void.....long ensued,

And to all my loved ones......I wait for thee...........

Elaine asked me to post you a candle representing the light of God that is surrounding you & your family at this time. The light and fire also represents the presence and power of God (similar to the pillar of fire that led the children of Israel in the exodus). Thank you Tim Weis for making this for Jane.

Through this situation with my dear friend Jane & everyone's sister in Christ, the Lord also reminded me that this is Elaine's first Christmas without her husband. Let's all lift her up as well. I'm sure we all know personal friends whose holidays aren't always the most joyful due to loss. Let's lift them before the Lord.

Father, I come to You on behalf of Elaine. This is her first year and first Christmas without her husband by her side. I pray You also bring her comfort through this holiday season. I never hear her complain. I only see her strength that she has through You abiding in her & her in You. Touch her heart because she touches so many of ours as she pours out prayers for all of us. In Jesus' Precious & Holy Name I lift this to You

Again, I lift up Jane as she continues to walk & at times crawl through this journey that You have put in front of her. We know that we all will lose our loved ones at one point or another but that doesn't make the loss any more comforting. I pray that she continue to remember the love that he had for her as well as the love he had for You. He has ran his race & has now gained his prize. As he waits for his wife to join him, I pray you give her a peace that surpasses any understanding. The days that are unbearable, I pray she find comfort in Your words & promises that were true 4000 years ago & are still true today. Just wrap Your love around her & shelter her from the days, months & years ahead. Though it will be so painful, may she find joy in that pain. May the trial & heartache she is facing today be used for Your glory tomorrow. I know her testimony will be overwhelming & draw many to You. When she doesn't think she can even make it through the next second, remind her that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. I pray You heal her broken heart and bind up her wounds ever so quickly. You told us that blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted. Help her find comfort & hope in Your scriptures. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort. In Jesus' Name I lift this pray to You.

Dear Lord, in times of our loss we lean on You for comfort for You are the only comforter.  I lift up thewatchman to Your throne of grace for You O Lord are her strength right now.  She needs You now than ever before.  Though we often know that our loved ones are with You our human side is slow to adapt to this loss.  Hold this family in Your warm embrace and give them assurance that no matter what has happened, You Lord are always in control.  To this family, the loss is suddden but to You, it is Your appointed time.  Help them to hold onto Your Cross Lord Jesus and be consoled.

Thank You Lord for a liffe well spent.  Guide our thoughts and our actions so that they glorify Your Name.

Father, thank You for giving her strength and may all our prayers be sanctified and acceptable to You in Jesus' Mighty Name and may the soul of the faithful departed rest in perfect peac.

'THANK YOU LORD FOR ALL ANSWERED PRAYERS.
