Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Lord Bless,

LT

Please keep my coworker Kim in your prayers as well as she's facing the same as Dawn with her husband of 25 years telling her just this weekend that he's filing divorce because he's not in love anymore.

Amen Elaine. Father, we know that you hate divorce & also know through Your word that You would not have a marriage break up. We come to you on behalf of Dawn's husband. Please bring him back to the throne room of grace. Bring him down to his lowest of low until he realizes that Your the only way. I also lift Dawn to you that she be steadfast in her prayers & patience. May she be strong through this time of trials. I ask this in the Name of Christ. Amen

Your goodness is so great! You have stored up great blessings for those who honour You.  You have done so much for those who come to You for protection, blessing them brfore the watching world. (Psalm 31: 19) NLT

Father, I glorify You and praise You this morning for Your marvelous deeds in the lives of those who cling to You.  Father, You are my refuge and my strength.  All the good things I have come from You.  In times of my needs Lor, You are there; in my times of sorrow as well as in times of joy, Fatheer Lord You are always near.  I thank You for Your faithfulness.

Lord, I lift up my family, my friends, my colleagues, my students and all that You have brought into my life for sanctification.  Fatheer bless and sanctify them to the glory of Your name.

Father I lift up my ailing mother to Your throne of grace for special healing. It is promised in Isaiah 40: 31 that "those who wait on the Lord will find strength.  They will fly high with wings like eagles.  They will run and not be weary, they will walk and not faint".  Dad, let it be so with my mom and everyone else that looks up to You for special healing.  I pray in Jesus' name.  Amen.

Thank You Lord for all answered prayers.

I'm reposting it.

URGENT PRAYER REQUEST!!!!!
Text message on my phone from Sean Malone who leads Crisis Relief International (CRI) in Irag. "We lost the city of Queragosh
(Qaraqosh). It fell to ISIS and they are beheading children systematically. This is the city we have been smuggling food too. ISIS has pushed back Peshmerga (Kurdish forces) and is within 10 minutes of where our CRI team is working. Thousands more fled into the city of Erbil last night. The UN evacuated it's staff in Erbil. Our team is unmoved and will stay. Prayer
cover needed!" Please pray sincerely for the deliverance of the people of Northern Iraq from the terrible advancement of ISIS and its extreme Islamic goals for mass conversion or death for Christians across this region. May I plead with you not to ignore this email. Do not forward it before you have prayed through it. Then send it to as many people as possible. Send it to friends and Christians you may know. Send it to your prayer group. Send it to your pastor and phone him/her to pray on Sunday during the service - making a special time of prayer for this. We need to stand in the gap for our fellow Christians. Thank you for all your prayers!!!!

Elaine, upon further investigation, parts of this is true. Someone contacted the head of CRI & this was his reply:

On  2014, CRI said:

That email was an urgent prayer alert sent to close friends over a month ago that somehow got leaked out. The reports of beheadings were what we were hearing from local pastors and other sources. The information was never meant to be blasted out publicly but for prayer as ISIS closed in our teams.

... We know of 5 children that were beheaded and this is from a city official on the ground.

An update later the same evening read:

Again this text was sent to a handful of people and was leaked. These were the reports that we were getting at that time and are now being confirmed. It wasn't intended for public information but perhaps it was by divine intervention. In our opinion one child beheaded is an all out outrage. We have other reports as well that we are in the process of confirming. We have done our best to post info on this page on our website and in emails about this issue.

Amen sister Lina to our great God and His dear son our Lord Jesus Christ be all the glory now forever as we enjoy our new nature in Christ Jesus.

Father I thank You for giving us a new nature that is from You 2 Peter 1:4 . Father this afternoon I pray that You may help us to tune our eyes into Your word, to be completely plugged into Your wisdom and Your understanding. All these years You have been our support without You we wouldn't have come this far. Let  us store Your flawless word in our hearts for I do believe  Your words will give us a long satisfying life. Father I ask all this in the matchless name of  king of kings, Jesus Christ. amen.
