JESUS SET US FREE

____ JESUS WILL SET YOU FREE____

Don't let fear become your prison,
don't let shackles keep you bound,
for in the name of Jesus,
there is freedom to be found.

In the valley there is darkness,
fear makes growth and doubts ascend,
but in the precious name of Jesus,
light is seen again.

Your spirit has no fetters,
for God's child is never bound.
It's the human side that gathers
in what Satan throws around.

He stands aside just waiting
for the moment we are down.
Then marches in his army,
till we're weak and tightly bound.

If you live more in the valley,
then on the mountain high.
There has to be a reason,
search your heart and find out why.

Don't let Satan make you live a life,
of fear, and doubt, and dread,
for it also makes, a mockery of,
the blood that Jesus shed.

So put on the armor furnished,
like we're told to in His word,
stand up straight to Satan,
make sure your words are heard.

"You no longer can torment me,
for the Lord has set me free,
your arrows though they strike me
will not penetrate through me.

I'll not give you any freedom,
in my life you'll not be found,
for when Jesus died on Calvary,
He broke all chains that bound."

Then keep your eyes upon the Savior,
let Him wash your fears away,
let the blood He shed on Calvary,
cleanse the wounds of yesterdays.

The Lord is ever willing,
He'll meet you more, then just half way.
He will guide you through His spirit,
so you may have a brighter day.

A LISTENING EAR

Sometimes when we grieve
We’d rather be alone
Or talk to someone
With a listening ear!

It isn’t that we seek advice
On how to mend a broken heart
And so ease the pain of grief
That is the last thing we require;
It’s just that talking offers release
And a listening ear brings needed comfort!

“Weeping may endure for a night,
but joy cometh in the morning.”

So if blessed with a listening ear
Lend it to that hurting someone
To show just how much you care
And without doubt you have done
A mighty deed even though you were silent
The Holy Spirit was at work in your midst!

“Wait on the Lord; be of good courage
and He shall strengthen thine heart…” Psalm 27:14

"In Your Little Sailboat (c: "

If you steer your little sailboat
straight against the wind,
it will blow you dead in the water
and the waves will flip you
up and down and all around,
while the wind is flapping your sails.
And this is why your

is getting all rattled!
But if we obey the flow
of the sweet and gentle breeze,
this will ease us to safe harbor,
plus the waves of this life's troubles
will help to push us there (c:
