Thank you for the welcome Sir. I am the ex-husband of what appears to be a former allaboutgod.net poster named Char Fox. She never hid her identity behind a fictitious "handle" nor will I.
I did not come here to disrupt, argue or sow seeds of division in the forums, but for years I have been subjected to libelous defamation through no fault of the admins or moderators. Last Friday (2/1/13), after an almost three year court battle I was found "Not Guilty" of 2 first degree sexual molestation felonies following a four day trial. My ex-wife has now deleted her membership here (prior to my sign-up) and asked to be removed from the prayer lists. I have asked that she be reinstated on the prayer list as well as my son Michael who was the innocent victim of an acrimonious divorce.
I am not here to retry the criminal case or the divorce, only to clear my name and offer my testimony that God's will is sometimes beyond our understanding, but steadfast faith and trust in Him will assure He never abandons us even at the darkest hours. I refused all plea bargains in my case even though I faced 45 years in prison if found guilty. I could not bear false witness and take a misdemeanor plea to a lessor charge even though it meant no jail time. They called me crazy, but I would not plea to any crime I did not commit. I figured if the Lord wanted me in prison, than that would be my fate. The Bible is full of stories of innocent men in prison.
I have lurked at allaboutgod.net for years because it was the only source of information about my son. I had not seen him in over 2 & 1/2 years until he testified in court last Tuesday. I've lost everything in the years that this has been going on and I watched as my ex-wife posted unthinkable allegations about me here. I will now go very slow and I invite your scrutiny, but, if allowed, I will testify to God's grace and mercy. I pray that the admins and mods here will allow me this chance at redemption and rehabilitation of my reputation and good name, for my son's sake. I pledge to follow the rules and user agreement.
