All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

As we get closer to the Resurrection Celebration I wanted to share this with you.

God is a God of "Re"

I've often wondered why an all-knowing God would even bother to create us. That is how much He loved us. He was willing to create us, knowing we would be destructive, knowing we would crush His very heart, even to the point of grief. If you have ever grieved over the loss of a dear loved one, you can somewhat understand His pain. However, He looked past His pain and seen us through the eyes of Redemption. He knew it would take a pure sacrifice for us to be reconciled to Him. The price of that sacrifice was His only Son whom was given so that we may be reborn into a life of restoration and refreshing. What does He require from us? Believe and Repent.

One day He reached down and rescued my soul. He then revived what once was dead. He revealed what had been hidden. The restitution that I owed, He took upon Himself and rescued me so that I would live a life of reassurance knowing that I was His child. He received me unto Himself releasing me from any bondage my sins had kept me under.

There has been many times since that I have walked away from God in my life. Some of those times, I was almost frightened that I would not be allowed to return for fear that He would remove His Spirit from me. When I chose the world instead of Him, He rescued me. Through His pain of my betrayal, He still saw fit to reconcile me to the Father. He refreshed and renewed my Spirit. He remains in me and I in Him and nothing can snatch me from His Almighty hand. When I pulled away from Him, He remained. He restored the JOY of my salvation. He had taken back what was taken from me. He restored everything the enemy had taken by the stupidity of my choices. He repaired my life.

He continues to refine me like gold by the fire of His Word so that I will shine like the noonday sun so when Hereturns, I will not be ashamed. I will return as His reward and until then, He continues to replenish my soul through the power of His Spirit.

Praise God, this worn out body, abused by the sins of the flesh, will be Resurrected into a glorified, replenished, and reformed body, no longer having to resist the devil. No longer will my past be remembered. My remission of sin was at the price of His life and paid for on Calvary. My recompense is in Christ's hand. I was given a rebirth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus from the dead and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil, or fade reserved in heaven. I will rejoice in my salvation.

Hallelujah
