Merry Christmas

To all my friends on AAG, thank you for your fellowship over the last twelve months. It means a lot to me to know that I can share my thoughts, my pains, my struggles (we all have them) bust most important of all, my faith in Jesus with you all.

I wish you all a Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year and may God look over you and your family.

Love and Blessings from Bill.

Poem: The Manger Is Still Empty

Long ago, a Savior was born

and hidden within a humble birth;

covered with the cloak of humanity,

His presence impacted this earth.

Although we remember His birthday,

know that Christ is no longer a child;

He stopped being an infant, who was…

helpless, quiet, tender and mild.

He grew in strength and wisdom;

He demonstrated His holy authority;

He lived as He divinely taught;

He set the example, for you and me.

He…

Angles With Us

I don’t believe I have shared this before. We were recently watching a sermon by David Jeremiah. It was about how important angels were concerning our Savior’s birth and throughout His life. At the end to the sermon pastor Jeremiah asked if angels were with us today. The answer is of course they are but only some people have seen them. This made me think about events that happened nine years ago. On May 4th, 2003, I was blessed to see an angel.

A tornado had ravaged…

FACING CRITICISM?

Dear AAG Family;

Below is a Bob Gass devotional on criticism which I read to day. Although it is some years old, the messge still applies to many today.

When Faced With Criticism

I just wanted to share a Bob Gass devotional I read this morning regarding criticism. Although it's a few years old, this devotional applies to many today.

Be Gloriously Transformed

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

My Beautiful Wife

Dear Friends,

Please join me in prayer for Carrie. She needs to feel God's presence and His Grace. She is a Christian woman and my Covenant Wife. Pray that she will long for me as the husband of her youth and that she will, in God's will, return to our Holy Marriage and that we can live out God's plan as Husband and Wife.

God Bless,

Robby

Hope in the Face of Pain – Sandy Hook Elementary School, Newtown, Connecticut

Hope in the Face of Pain – Sandy Hook Elementary School, Newtown, Connecticut

“We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.”1

I heard the question loud and clear on CNN, “God, why did you take them?”

Twenty-six people gunned down yesterday--20 of them children … horrific, should never happen. A small town rocked to its core, as the rest of the world looks on, asking,…

I need the prayers of many...

Jesus says that where two or three are gathered in my name, there shall I be also. From that passage in the Bible, I take it as the more people that pray together for something in God's will, the Lord will surely be there. I am still struggling in my christian walk; it seems the closer I get to God, the more I start to screw up again, and fall back into my sins, and deliberately at that. I have gone through my life with a fine-toothed comb, and removed many things in my life which would…

Forgiving Those Who Judge You

Forgiving Those Who Judge Your

After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before" (Job 42:10).

Have you ever been wrongly judged? Have you ever had people assume there was sin in your life because of the troubles you may have experienced? Or perhaps they judged your motives as wrong. What if the people judging you were your closest friends?

This was exactly what happened in the…

God and the Conn School Mass Killings

Mike Huckabee, Fox News commentator and former Arkansas governor, says that removal of school prayer and the Bible from public classrooms is partly to blame for the horrific mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton, Connecticut, this morning.  There, a lone gunman reportedly shot and killed 27, including his mother and 20 children, before taking his own…

I want to share the gospel...to be strong in the Lord.

I'm encourged by reading a few books from Voice of the Martyrs. Such encourgement has to be of the Holy Spirit. They're so strong in the Lord. I want to be given the courge like they have. No matter the threat...never deny Jesus. Facing persecution, possible death for His sake? They've rejoiced and prayed for their enemies. It doesn't matter the threat or harm. They risk it all for the sake of Christ and spreading His gospel.

I want to be that strong in the Lord. Thing is I…

Poem: Christmas IV (An Acrostic)

Concerning these issues of Life,

His principles trump all evil when…

Reigning in our hearts

Is the manifestation of God’s Love.

Stay the course!

Trust in Him alone!

May your identity in Christ,

Always be in plain view;

Stand with Him on His spiritual foundation.
