CHRISTMAS IS NOT ALL ABOUT EATING AND DRINKING

CHRISTMAS IS NOT ALL ABOUT EATING AND DRINKING

The birth of Jesus was foretold by Prophet Isaiah way back between 740-701 BC and the prophecy was fulfilled around AD. 50- 70 AD meaning the prophecy almost took 70yrs to come true, or boy that’s along time of waiting but that shows us on how much time people spent in pain waiting for the savior.

We read in Isaiah 9:6, words like “to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders and he… Continue

UNFAILING LOVE

The Lord looks down from heaven and sees the whole human race. from his throne he observes all who live on earth. He made their hearts, so he understands everything they do....But the lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing Love. he rescues them from death and keeps them alive in times of famine. we put our hope in the lord. he is our help and our shield. in him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. let your unfailing love surround us. Igniting a Fresh Revival in the Land 1.1

It's interesting to know that people without past have no future! For this church age to navigate the present and future spiritual journey without repeating the mistakes of the fathers, we need to have good understanding of the past, and until we begin to honor the church fathers, we will miss the blessings embedded in the legacy that they left for us. My ability to make quick reference of my past kept me safe through every storm that I met at each point in life; I stayed focused on the…

When Everything Canges

If you know me very well you would discover that I do not like changes much. I like things to stay the same, but it is unrealistic. We are going down the road of life that has many bends to go around, hills to climb, bumps to go over, and obstacles to avoid.

Maybe you like me are facing yet another Christmas after loosing a loved…

Igniting a Fresh Revival in the Land 1.0

I am presently studying on church revival after I had a dream that I believed was from the Lord. In my dream, I unearthed a piece of relic in the shape of the cross. It was old and rusted. I dipped it in oil and the rust was gone immediately. As I studied it, it could eject water like a water jet. It had a side that would loosen nuts and another side would loosen bolts even so tight or rusted. A kid was showing me how to use the…

THE LORD REIGNS FOREVER.

The Lord reigns!

(Letters of John Newton)

"The Lord reigns! He is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed in majesty and is armed with strength!" Psalm 93:1

"The Lord reigns! Let the nations tremble!" Psalm 99:1

The Lord reigns! He who once bore our sins, and carried our sorrows--is seated upon a throne of glory, and exercises all power in heaven and on earth! Thrones, principalities, and powers, bow before Him. Every being and event are under His rule.…

Gift for the Savior.

‘Just got back from the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping in the 11th hour—you know, running around to collect those few desired items that had not yet been purchased. Yes, the stores were busy, but I don’t mind the crowds; in fact, I rather like them—‘love the energy, the noise, and also the thought that our economy is indeed going to be okay!…

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO MY PRECIOUS BROTHERS, AND SISTERS

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL MY PRECIOUS BROTHERS AND SISTERS, THANK YOU FOR ALL PRAYERS THIS YEAR..WE ARE BLESSED TO HAVE ONE ANOTHER______________________________

1. The version found written on the wall in Mother Teresa's home for children in Calcutta:

People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win…

Unconditional Love

Ultimately, life is all about grace and unconditional love.

Grace liberates us from resentment, self-pity, anger, revenge, frustration, depression, and anything negative that comes from a wounded self.

A wounded self in its aim to attain healing would resort to strive its best to achieve wealth, pleasure, intelligence, success, and any attempts for self-healing but in the end it will realize that apart from grace and love, they are nothing but vain and empty.

The highest…

A soldier's Christmas

A Soldier’s Christmas Poem

Had no Christmas spirit when I breathed a weary sigh, and looked across the table where the bills were piled too high. The laundry wasn't finished and the car I had to fix, My stocks were down another point, the Dolphins lost by six.

And so with only minutes till my son got home from school, I gave up on the drudgery and grabbed a wooden stool. The burdens that I carried were about all I could take, and so I flipped the…

Wise men seek him

After the angels proclaimed to the shepherds, ‘good news of great joy which was for all the people,’ the shepherds gathered their robes and hurried to the babe.  Later, the wise men prepared to travel to make an acquaintance with the King. [Some say “Magi”, others “wise men” . . . what’s the difference?…

POWER OF RESSURECTION

Text

Luke 24:13-35

After Jesus has gone through the cross, then came the ressurrection. They looked for Him in the tomb but he was not there. The angels that stood by the disciples even said...." why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here He has risen."  Now comes the story of two men on their way to Emmaus. These man where talking about the things which had happened. The arrest of Jesus, the crucifixion. Jesus drew near to these men and…
