I Desire to Reason with God.

“With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?” Many say we have the mind of God, but this isn't so.

The Bible tells us that we have the mind of Christ, and should act as Christ acted, do the works that Christ did, and do greater works than His, being not greater than the Master. We are a member of the house of God, the gentiles being a wild branch that was grafted in as… Continue

Separate but Equal.

In the world of salvation, and according to the constitution, all men are born equal, the Bible also states this but in a different manner. In scripture we, as man, are born separate but equal. Equal; Impartial; neutral; not biased. Just; equitable; giving the same or similar rights or advantages. Having the same value. As man is in this life so shall he be in the next. There is no difference with God concerning man.

The only separation that is made is between those that are born… Continue

Todays Yesterday.

Have you been in dire straights as of yesterday? Has everything gone wrong in your life? Do you wonder how you will be able to stand all the pressure, and do you wish that you would just die? For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. "Our years pass away like those of the spider."

Our plans and operations are like the spider's web. Life is as frail, and the thread of it as brittle, as one of those which constitute the… Continue

Honestly, please, how can I possibly believe in god?

Mar 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. Believe; To credit upon the authority or testimony of another; to be persuaded of the truth of something upon the declaration of another, or upon evidence furnished by reasons, arguments, and deductions of the mind, or by other circumstances, than personal knowledge. When we believe upon the authority of another, we always put confidence in his veracity. “But without faith it is impossible to… Continue

The Silence of the Lambs.

And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; Saying, “Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.” And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, “Master, rebuke thy disciples.” And he answered and said unto them, “I tell you that, if these should hold their… Continue

When the Gentiles Heard.

The Church of Christ, and our God, is a membership of love, trust, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. When the members love one another, there is a spirit of unity. Without a vision and a unity among the brethren there is lacking a power to ask, and also have prayers answered. As it is written,”Without a vision My people perish.” Unity; In Christian theology, oneness of sentiment, affection or behavior. “How good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” Unity of… Continue

Playing Games.A Commentairy.

“He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations. Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac; And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant: Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance: When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it. When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people; He suffered no… Continue

Discovering my SHAPE for ministry...

Discovering my SHAPE for ministry….

S- Spiritual Gifts

H- Heart

A- Abilities

P- Personality

E- Experience

God created each of us individually with a purpose in mind - to love him. He intends for us to be fulfilled as we serve Him and the needs of others in ministry. Job 10:8 speaks of "God forming me and shaping me". My shape is a blend of five factors that makes me wonderfully complex. Encouraging God to reveal that shape can change… Continue

FORTUITOUS

From My Perspective - - -

Everyone views life through his/her personal prism. We do not exist in a vacuum! We all have our values and biases. However, there are those who believe some “magic” has been at work in their behalf – maybe “karma”! There are numbers of people who believe that everything occurring in life is to be relegated and embraced as “good luck” – a matter of being in the right place at the right time. It is viewed as “chance” (things just happen). One can hear some…

HE WANTS TO TALK

He Wants to Talk:

Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and answer me. When You said, 'Seek My face,' My heart said to You, 'Your face, LORD, I will seek.' (Psalm 27:7–8)

Prayer (or talking to GOD) is one of the basics that all of us should be doing in our Christian…

Being part of a church family!

A year ago after my husband and I separated, I was free to go to a church again, especially a church where the children and I could feel at home. We were church hopping for a few sundays but the Lord took me to a very special congregation. We immediately felt at home and after a few months became part of the church.

The worship is good, the sermons is incredible, and you have the opportunity to grow in your faith and your relationship with God. I made lot of precious friends and I can… Continue

Thy Kingdom Come On Earth As It Is In Heaven

"Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and

hill shall be made low; and the crooked shall be made

straight, and the rough places plain: And the glory of the

Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it

together; for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it." (Isa.

40: 1; 4 - 5)

Whom would you compare Him to? (Isa. 40: 17 - 18) Those

who don't know Him may worship golden statues. But you, who

know Him want to broadcast to the… Continue

TENSION

From My Perspective - - -

Tension is a current experience in the world and in individual lives. The most recent news about events in Mumbai (Bombay), India is an example. Once it was learned that those responsible for the attacks were being trained and coordinated by leaders in Pakistan – tensions heightened and other nations have attempted to intervene to lessen tensions between two nuclear nations. An article in today’s International Herald Tribune states: “Fresh evidence…

TURBULENCE

From My Perspective - - -

Most of us desire and want Tranquility rather than Turbulence. We trend towards peace and quiet rather than turmoil and noise. All of us have a built-in decibel level beyond which our comfort zones cannot stretch and/or go. Entering into this mix in our generation is Terrorism where Tranquility and Turbulence are not part of either the ambition or a core value of a Terrorist. Terrorism is suggested to have a narrow objective: “Their goal isn't necessarily…

Echoes of Joy

Echoes of Joy

By Darlene Hight

Joyous melody stood, barely able to breathe as the Conductor moved closer.

"Is it my turn?", he asked in a whisper.

"Not yet." the Conductor answered "Your time will come and it will be glorious, well worth the wait."

Tears stung Joyous Melody's eyes as crushing disappointment entered his spirit. I can't bare the wait. What good is a song that can't be expressed? Music shouldn't have to wait. Should it? When?… Continue

a ministry page i have on myspace always posts the most awesome bulleteins...enjoy

The great thing about a menu is that you read through it and pick and choose what you want to order. Just because something is on the menu it doesn’t mean you have to order it; you can pick and choose what you want. A recipe on the other hand, is something that must be read carefully and followed to the letter. If you leave something out of that recipe then what you are making just won’t taste like it was intended too. The finished product wont be exactly what the creator of the dish intended… Continue

SOLSTICE SOLITUDE

From My Perspective - - -

For many of us, Christmas has always meant (1) a time for Santa Claus, decorated trees, gifts, family gatherings, reading of “Twas The Night Before Christmas…”, or (2) A Designated time for the Celebration of the Birth of Jesus Christ – Choir Cantatas, Candlelight Services, Pageants, Manger Scenes, Caroling, etc. There has always been much tradition and ritual as December 25th approaches.

The past several years has seen a movement away from the…
