...something to offer each other.

We all have something to offer each other. Yes, we can all pray for each other, and have kind words but, there is more. We each have a view of God, an aspect of Him others need to know. When the Body is as One, the world has a greater understanding of God. To be able to share God w/ others is good. When we show each other in the Body, the aspect of Jesus that we each possess, is step one. Step two is, accept one… Continue

THE CHRISTIAN WALK

The Christian walk is absolutely thrilling, pleasant and full of energy. It is a safe walk and is joy un-speakable. We are walking with the Lord and it is His presence that makes all the difference. Even though we may encounter hidden snares and walk an unfamiliar path there is no fear of getting lost. We are never on our own as Jesus is accompanying us. Jn 10:11, 14, 15 Jesus died for us and knows his own.

Walking behind the Lord:

Jn 10:4 And when he puts forth his own…

..getting lead to climb a tree.

Faith holds on to the knowledge of our Righteousness, which is in God through Christ Jesus

This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Rom 3:22-24

The more I…

Christian Halloween Alternatives

Many Christians choose not to observe Halloween. As one of the most popular holidays in our culture—for some more celebrated than Christmas—it can present a challenge for Christian families, especially when children are involved. Although I won't discuss here all the "whys" and "why nots," and what the Bible says about Halloween, I will offer some fun and practical alternatives to enjoy this year with your…

SHOULD CHRISTIANS BE CELEBRATING HALLOWEEN

CHRISTIANS SHOULD NOT BE CELEBRATING THE TRADITION OF HALLOWEEN?

"Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes." Song of Solomon 2:15

Foxes sometime in search of food would enter into the grape orchards and devour the grapes and spoil the crop. However, the little foxes were too small to reach the grape bunches so they would chew on the vines and it would kill the whole vine. Instead of the farmer just losing his crop,…

how clear John saw himself.

In John 3:22-36, we are given a clear picture about who John the Baptist was, and how he saw himself and Jesus. John draws the image beautifully for us. Jesus at one side of the river, and His disciples were baptizing people. John in another part of the river and he was baptizing. Many times when the enemy attacks, it is sutler, this was not one of those times. The enemy was clearly trying to get jealously going in John’s heart. As w/ most… Continue

LETTING GO OF THE PAST

Why is it so hard for me to let go of my past

How I long to wipe it clean so I'll be free at last

TODAY is the Day!

"13 I was right on the cliff-edge, ready to fall, when God grabbed and held me [Psalm 118:13, The Message]."

Rage-filled and loathing self, I was in a battle and determined to destroy myself. Not the self. My entire being. I did not know Christ within me, the Hope of glory! In my own eyes, I was evil. Unable to control my temper, ashamed, and drowning in a sea of self-created guilt and pity, I wanted out. I stepped to the precipice…

The Cure – (Part three behind ‘The Church—Love it or Leave It, and “What is the Cure for the Church?”)

Jesus was all about truth. He said of himself, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life…”1 and “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”2

So, the truth is that Christianity has an image problem. Huh, funny thing, I googled that line, ‘Christianity has an image problem’, and look what came up:

The top of the first article had this picture—from Time Magazine--…

money is needed in this world without a doubt.though there are times i wish this werent the case and things were free. division with family and friends are caused by money, crimes committed is largely due to money, not all but lots of women look for men who has this and vice versa.materialism shouldnt be the case, why cant more women accept a man for himself? not his occupation or income. first thing men usually notice is a womans looks, first thing most women want to know is his income and… Continue

the Lord made today.

This is the day that the Lord has made. Let’s rejoice and be glad today. Ps 118:24

This is a choice we make, in the face of trouble. Yes, we all have times when, it feels like life has chosen to take us out, to eliminate us. However, the Truth is that today, this day He has made. We have a choice to make, will we be angry… Continue

ZION TRAIN: The Heavens Opened (Part 1)

The Heavens Opened (Part 1)

By Anna Rountree

The Attack:

The sound was ancient and terrifying.

Startled, I spun around to see a colossal battering ram relentlessly moving under its own power across a desert basin. Its wooden wheels were at least sixty stories high, and they groaned and yawned under the extreme weight they bore. Blasphemies were carved into its black battering arm, the end of which was the iron head of a goat.

Although it moved slowly,…

Lordship and Obedience!

I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and keep his commands, decrees and laws.DEUTERONOMY 30:16

"Why do you call me Lord,Lord and do not do what I say? As for those who come to me and hear my words and put them into practice, I will show you what they are alike. They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on the rock, when a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it because it was well…

How Much Do You Love.....?

Have you ever ask someone how much he/she loves you?

Great!

In John 21:15-17, Jesus did ask Peter,  this question. 3 times saying, Peter, do you love me more than these? I was just picturing Peter's reaction to this...

I believe it is the same question God is asking us today.

How much do we love God?

Do we love him more than our life?

Do we love him more than our…

Worship!

1Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Worship is our deepest active expression of our love towards God. It is defined as regard with great honor or devotion.

It involves the giving of ourselves totally to the Lord. As Romans 12:1 says ..... offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God-This is your…

Your Choice!

I believe what you are today is the result of your decision yesterday, and what you will be tomorrow depends on the decision you gonna make today!

In John 14:1 Jesus is telling us not to worry but to trust in God, to trust in him the verse says > "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.(Jesus)<.

I strongly believed that when God says it he does it. So when he ask us to trust him, then why doubt, why worry, TRUST God! And stop worrying. Worry…

Valuable Thing!

Valuable Things

A young man learns what's most important in life from the guy next door. It had been some time since Jack had seen the old man. College, girls, career, life itself got in the way. In fact, Jack moved clear across the country in pursuit of his dreams. There, in the rush of his busy life, Jack had little time to think about the past and often no time to spend with his wife and son. He was working on his future, and nothing could stop him.

Over the phone,…
