Abundance

Psa 66:12  You caused men to ride over us. You brought us through fire and water, but you led us to abundance.

We should declare unto those that fear God, what he has done for our souls, and how he has heard and answered our prayers, inviting them to join us in prayer and praise; this will turn to our mutual comfort, and to the glory of God. We cannot share these spiritual privileges, if we retain the love of sin in our hearts, though we refrain from the gross practice,…

Take comfort..

Pro.3:5 Trust the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding.

When things are so black, when it looks as if no hope can be found. Do not rely on your own understanding. When things are past our knowledge, for me most things are, Trust the Lord.

I have tried almost all other ways. They all dead end. They all rely on what I know, what I think.

When I have walked away, where did I go ? Did I find more truth in another way. No.

Hear me know take a… Continue

I CONFESS

For the past few months I have been absent for which I sincerely apologize. Some of the reasons for my absence is due to discouragement, depression , illness and spiritual illness. I have been struggling esp. with my spirituality. I must admit I am very discouraged, frustrated, and very tired. To some extend this has been brought on by my work (with homeless men), spiritual decay as I see it in the Lord's church. Another reason for my condition is my own…

Paul’s best-laid plans. Romans 15.23-33

It seems that Paul has always been a man with a plan.  And as we draw to the close of his letter to the Romans, he makes his plans known.  His calling has been to preach the Gospel where it had not been taught and leave the rest to someone else.  He has a plan for the current space in time, and what comes next.  Paul also values the support of fellow believers, enlisting…

The Glory of the New Covenant

Wow! What a fantastic description of the Glory of the Old and New Testaments.

2 Corinthians 3:7-18

7 Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, fading though it was,…

Revelation Chapter  22

1And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

2In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. …

I'll go for broke...

Earlier I read something and shared apart of myself I was not going to share.  But here I am so I'll go for broke.   The person I most idenitify most w/ in the Bible is Jonah.  I know what it is like to have God what you to do something yet, you know when you do what will happen.

When Christians turn on you, it is devesting.  When it happens to many times well, for me I have just turned off.  I thought I would be able to share more but, not to be dramatic but.  I would like to…

WAKE-UP CALL

Some thought it was a terrorist attack. A few folks thought maybe there was a problem with the sub-way. Some were probably blaming it on global warning.

But, how many people experiencing the recent reletively minor earthquake on our east coast, including  WASHINGTON, D.C.,

attributed this situation to a wake-up call from Amighty God.

This country has been turning its back on God for some time now. Time and space does not allow me to list all the evidence  right…

Revelation Chapter  21

1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he…

Pain can tell us...

Pain can tell us things, we might not be able to hear, any other way.

It shows us limitations, what we can or cannot do.

Where our weakness are, and what to do to get past them.

If we allow pain to much power it can change us into people we may not like.

If we don’t listen close enough we can become even more damaged, had we not heard

it’s voice. It can show us who we are and who we are not.

What we do to avoid pain, can be an indication of how much pain we have… Continue

Revelation Chapter  20

1And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

3And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till…

Bible Baptism

Biblical Baptism, I believe, is an important part of the Christian walk.  Is baptism part of our worship and service to God in spirit and truth?  The Bible reveals how important baptism is and what it represents.

Jesus baptism Mark 1:4-5 .....'John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of…

The Old Testament … do you love it? Romans 15.1-13

“Oh, I just the love Old Testament!”  I heard one woman exclaim to another—‘especially Deut-, Deut-…how do you say it?’  “Doo-ter-on-o-me,” her friend replied.  “Well, yes, I especially love Deuteronomy—you know the part in the Bible where the people wandered around the desert, and whined, and…

Revelation Chapter  19

1And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:

2For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. …

Strange as it sounds...

As strange as it sounds, we hold on to the things we want to be healed of.  They are what we know.  To be healed is new, it is a new idea.  For some, they don't realize the fear of new, scares them. The whole idea may sound good, but still it is something we don't know.  Like a old comforter they wrap themself around the pain they know.  I say to anyone, Healed is safe.  Come out of that old comforter in Jesus Name, and be Healed.  Like a new morning the dawn breaks on your healing. It is…
