CONFORMING TO GODS IMAGE...

I always ask myself what would be my christian life before the Lord Jesus Christ return?

Would I hear the words " Good and faithful servant... " ?

From a sinful man to a redeemed man, a new creation.

From a hard headed proud person to a humble servant.

From baby christian to adolescent, puberty, adulthood and elder.

From a verse reader to chapter reader to book reader and to whole Bible constant reader.

From church sweeper to door keeper to usher to…

INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW

Ever since our ancesters, Adam & Eve were curious about "that forbidden tree", and King Saul went to the witch at Endor to see what's up (Samuel), people have been consulting fortune tellers, psychics, the zodiac, and whatever, to try and get a peek at the future.

I've talked to Christians who don't leave the house in the morning until they check their horoscopes to see what the day is going to bring. And usually the statement is offered - "I just want to prove it…

Sin is dangerous

The ultimate result of sin is unending separation from God, because we human beings are created in Gods image we have an inborn thirst for fellowship with him. Separation from God will be the final torment and misery to those who are still refusing the garce of God through his son our Lord Jesus Christ. Sin always brings misery in our lives. Where there is sin, there is no peace, security and love. But where God reigns there is love, peace and security.

In this life we can still…

A “Thinking” Chair and Higher Thoughts.

I loved the children’s program “Blue’s Clues”—it was clever, creative and colorful.  I suppose of all of the television programming I watched while raising four children, it was my favorite!  Steve, the main character on the program, had a place he went to think—a favorite over-stuffed dark red chair—which he affectionately called his thinking chair.  I think Steve was on to something . . . do you have a thinking chair?  Do you have a place to go and just think—especially to think creative…

The revelation of the cross

When people come to understand what Jesus did on the cross of Calvary,  We can  fully surrender our life to Him. we can have victory from all the struggles in life.

In colossian 2:14-15 says

Having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us, And He has taken it out of the way having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers , He made a public spectacle of…

Words of The Day

We strongly believe The Great Commission: (Matthew 28:18-20)

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.…

GOD CARES FOR YOU

GOD CARES FOR YOU

When I am feeling lonely

Discouraged, worried or afraid

Things that keep me going

Is writing a poem or a prayer prayed

When I need to express my thoughts

Needing someone who will understand

I write about it, or talk to my God

I find strength to live life as planned

Living isn't always easy,

We have problems every day

We sometimes think we're all alone

Until we can remember to pray

Our Heavenly Father is… Continue

Live a Long Life!

Did you know that God desires to see us live a long good life? Many today believe that when a person dies, it was God's timing for them to die and that the fullness of their days have been lived out according to God's will. However, according to the Bible, God's will isn't always manifested here on earth as God desires it, and there is no guarantee that we will live out the fullness of our days. Yes, I believe that God has appointed our days, and has a plan for our lives, but my question is,…

LIVING IN FAITH REST

(Dear Friends I want to share a few lessons I learned through my unemployment time now into it’s fourth year.

I am 70 years old and unemployed as I have said, I never thought a time would come when all I could do is sit and wonder why all this bad luck came to me,

Now I have been a Born Again Christian for 30 years serve God as best I could.

I have pastured churches and served in missions and many other ways over the years. I am not bragging just saying that god allows all of us… Continue

True Kingdom Livinig

My dear brothers and sisters..

Forgive your friends. They will love infinitely more.

Friendship and forgiveness must always run abreast.

The death of forgiveness compels the death of friendship.

We must feed our friendship with forgiveness,

and thus alone can we cherish a friendship

that will fail to close its eyes even for a brief second.

Friendship is based on forgiveness.

Today if your…

Do you think well? Romans 12.2

Yes, I know that there is practically a whole chapter awaiting our attention, beginning with verse three of Romans 12! Yes, I know that Paul has quite a lot more to say to the church at Rome, but . . . I have chosen to ‘camp’ on verses one and two because God emphatically told us to ‘not be conformed to this world, but be transformed, and to do so through the renewing of our minds.’… Continue

Words of The Day

Let us Prayer;

O, God of my salvation, hide not thy face far from me. Hear O, Lord when I cry unto thee. Have mercy upon me and answer me: Be not silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

Draw me not away with the wicked, and the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbors and mischief is in their heart.   Lead me in thy truth and teach me thy way and lead me in a plain path;…

Eight simple words ... on transforming prayer

Eight simple words.

In looking to be transformed, tis a good time to look at one of the regular practices of our Lord, and make it our own.  In all four gospels, the writer noted that Jesus would go to a place to be alone with his Father; if the Savior needed that time, how much more do you and I!  If you do not make time to be alone with the Lord, you will not have it. …

Words of The Day

The Gospel

Our heavenly Father created Adam and Eve to be spiritually alive, which means that their soul was in union with Him. They had a very good relationship with God walking in righteousness and were to exercise dominion over the earth. But because of disobedience they were separated from God. Their failure to obey God led them in to sin causing them to be thrown out of the garden Because of sin all of their descendants are born…

Words of The Day

Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.” - 1 Thessalonians 1:4

Many persons want to know their election before they look to Christ, but they cannot learn it thus, it is only to be discovered by “looking unto Jesus.” If you desire to ascertain your own election;-after the following manner, shall you assure your heart before God.

Do you feel yourself to be a lost, guilty sinner? go straightway to the…

Your thinking is powerful. Romans 12.2

Nurture great thoughts, for you will never go higher than your thoughts.1  Your thinking is the lid to your potential … why?  Because ‘as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.’2   So let me ask you--how’s your thinking?

“We are taking every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ,”3 Paul stated.  ‘So God, please open our minds to understand the truth of your Word that we might be changed by it.  Amen’

Hmmm . . . if it is true that we become what we…
