Are demons and exorcisms real? - CBS

The Exorcism of Emily Rose and the legion of Exorcist films raise important questions about the spiritual realm. Having personally witnessed what I believe was a very real exorcism with very real demons, my answer to the question is "yes."

"My mom's completely flipped out. I mean, she sees demons everywhere. Just this morning the car died on the way to school. She got out, pounded on the hood, and yelled, 'In the name of Jesus, I command the foul spirits of engine stalling to come… Continue

Nena's First Day At School - Camden Christian Academy

This is the 1st full week home for Nena and Edward. They have been away from me for 1 year and 2 mos. How they managed to be as wonderful as they are and as OKAY as they are is a gift to my sanity from God. My daughters resiliance is a tribute to the resiliance of the women in my family (apparently). My birth mother went through many tragedies, my sister has lived through many many tragedies, I have lived through well you get the point....TRAGEDY!!!!

Nena started…

I seem to be a Hobbit!!!!!<a href="http://s226.photobucket.com/albums/dd33/munchiesmommy214/?action=view&current=hobbit.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd33/munchiesm

I watched the Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Ring last night. It is the first time I watched it since I rededicated my life to Christ and it would appear that even my perspective on everything I watch draws me to analyze things from a Christian point of view. It would appear that I have many similar characteristics to Frodo and Bilbo Baggins.

How so????....If you are asking this, wow you are reading my blog and I am honored. I am really going to be using…

I am studying Daniel right now using the Beth Moore Study series. I am so grateful for that amazing lady. God has so blessed her and me through her. I wish I could touch lives in a powerful way for the glory of God, but I realize how lucky I really am that fame has not been something God chose for…

Generations Surging toward crises

Alive today are five different generations of Americans looking with increasing angst at the current election cycle. Politics is actually a window into deeper issues. Resolution of these issues will define the Saeculum in which we live. Before we take these thoughts further, lets examine some terminology and define the five different generations.…

Keep passing on the good news!

God's Word is unlike any other book. The Bible is a roadmap for life here on earth and for life eternal. As Christians, we are called upon to study God's Holy Word, to trust its promises, to follow its commandments, and to share its Good News with the world.

Online comunities -New Day

I have been dealing with hurt and disappointments for a couple of years. I have found only temporary relief in Man and earthly things. Why haven't I put my cares in The Man who created me? I have been searching other "comunities" to find "friends" to keep me out of my head with negative thoughts. Yesterday I chatted for the first time with a gentleman who sent me to Prayer?! He said that the site I was on was not the place for me. He felt I may come across the wrong person, that would take me… Continue

Prayer for my son...

This is one of my favorite things ever written. Gen. Douglas MacArthur wrote this prayer for his son.

Gentlemen, how often do we pray for our fellow men? How often do we allow them to pray for us?

And how often to we lose blessings as result thereof? Man is constantly targeted by the world, and by Satan.

Our battle is not against flesh or blood, it is time that we take hands and battle this thing together. Only in unity can we expect the…

Words to live by...

Be obedient, no matter how much the Master’s plan doesn’t make sense to you.

Love your neighbor as yourself. Give to those less fortunate.

Be generous.

Relax and let God drive. Enjoy the ride!

Don’t be afraid. He said He would never leave us or forsake us!

Take time to rest and enjoy the company of friends.

Value, honor and enjoy your family, no matter how strange they seem to…

Prayer in the morning...

Dear Lord, I thank you for this day. I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I’m blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me

and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have

done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your

forgiveness.

Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of…

Parratjies

Once upon a time there was a bunch of tiny frogs.... who arranged a running competition.

The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower.

A big crowd had gathered around the tower to see the race and cheer on the contestants....

The race began....

Honestly:

No one in the crowd really believed that the tiny frogs would reach the top of the tower.

You heard statements such…

Jesus is the Answer

Jesus is the answer to every question, every problem; even if we forget the question or don't know the question...He is still the answer. No matter what happens to us in life, if we are His, then we can be sure that His hand is on it and that He knows. He is never taken by surprise.
