JAMES 3-8) But the human tongue can be tamed by no man.it is a restless (undisciplined,irreconcilable) evil, full of deadly poison.

Let's look at these words and their meaning

Restless: Unceasingly active; averse to quiet or inaction.

The word restless can be used in other terms, but i choose this meaning because of the topic we are studying.

Unceasingly ;

Not ceasing or stopping; continuous, an unceasing flow of criticism)

Undisciplined;

Uncontrolled, defiant, disorderly, headstrong, inconsistent,insubordinate, lacking self-control,mischievous,naughty, noncompliant, ungoverned, unrestrained, unruly, untrained, wayward.

Have you ever seen a wild animal get out of control before? So it is with our tongue, always wanting to do its own thing.

After reading these definitions, can you see why we need the HOLY SPIRIT to control our tongue?.
