For three years, this disciple was “in Jesus’ bosom.” It was a time of utter rest, peace and joy, with no troubles or trials. In all that time, John received very little revelation. He knew Jesus only as the Son of man. So, when did he receive his revelation of Christ in all his glory?

It happened only aft

The Assymbly-The Church-Believers

CHAPTER ONE — SAINTS ALIVE!
Ephesians 1:1-3
She had gone down in history as "America's Greatest Miser," yet when she died in 1916, "Hetty" Green left an estate valued at over $100 million. She ate cold oatmeal because it cost to heat it. Complaining - The Subtle Sin....ouch in my heart

"Murmur at nothing," marked Charles Caleb Colton, an Eighteenth Century clergyman on one occasion, "if our ills are irreparable, it is ungrateful; if remediless, it is vain."
Do you ever find yourself complaining simply out of habit? Sometimes our lives may became so filled with church, work and family activities that we have little time left for physical relaxation. We find ourselves complaining over our hectic schedule - even though we love all the things we do and wouldn't want to dispense wi… Continue

PRAYER—THE LONG AND SHORT OF IT!

“Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few” (Ecclesiastes 5:2).

There is often a pretense in long prayers. A desire to build up “credit power” with God; an ambition to duplicate the prayer lives of men used of God; a subtle attempt to overwhelm the Lord with enough words to weary him into action. I wonder—does God ever get bored? Does he long for more prayers and petitions… Continue
