- My story with God
- I was born (1925) the son of a Methodist minister in the Central Illinois Conference the Methodist Church. I was born again (1953) at the age of 27 in a crisis experience so radical and life-changing that my family thought I had lost my mind. Later, when I was introduced to the writings of Anton Boisen (The Exploration of the Inner World) I recognized the truth of his explication of the deep inter-relatedness of religion and psychology. What is the significant of Psalm 118:8 in God's perfect will for our lives?
It is better to trust in the LORD, than to put confidence in man.-- Psalm 118:8
When things get tough, always remember faith doesn't get you around trouble..

When you relinquish the desire to control your future you obtain happiness...
