- December of 2007, my husband got a chance to come here in UAE for visit visa. He got a job in a cement plant on January 2008 but an unexpected thing was happened to him. He was on his first day of work when he had an accident. He was inside a raw mill when a big rock for cement making fell down from him and hit him on his right foot and on his chest. Unluckily, his bone was fractured. They brought him in the hospital and had an operation. He stayed there for one month and he was put a cast for six months. That time, I called him and there was no answer from him. I was worried because I don’t know why he didn’t call me for sometime. After two days, he sent me a message that he got an accident. He said, he cannot call because there was no signal from his room. A day after, he called and cried. I was very surprised when he told me the whole story. And I felt pity on him. He asked me why God did it to him. He is very disappointed and frustrated as he feels that the whole world fell down from him. And I said everything will be fine. Don’t blame Him. He has a purpose for everything. That time, I was working in a merchandising agency and at the same time, I tried my luck to find an overseas agency that has a job offer here in UAE. I went through some employer’s interview. One interview I passed but the salary offer is very small. I also had a job offer in Qatar. My husband didn’t like it that time because he wants me to go only in this country. That is why I looked again for some interviews. Unluckily, I didn’t pass all the next interviews. I was very upset that time. I think that I will not have a chance to go here. I told my husband that I’ll come here in visit visa also but we don’t have the money to pay for it. I asked help from my half-sister but they refused me. I talked to my mom about it and she said, let’s pray for it. I know that God is with us. He is our great provider. March 2008, one of my nephew celebrated his birthday and they invited us in their house. His mom, my first cousin told me that their closest friend is here in Dubai. I knew him way, way back also. I was very surprised and I don’t know, some happiness and chance I felt in my heart. My cousin told me that I can ask for his help. She gave me his mobile number and she said to send him message immediately. The next day, I tried to send him a message and I ask his financial help to go here. At first, he told me that to work here is difficult. He also asked me if I am sure that I can leave my children. Then I told him that I need to work and receive a higher salary that will support our family. Then he said, ok I will help you. I was very happy that time. I didn’t expect that someone will say yes to me. I didn’t mention it to my husband because I want to surprise him. Few days pass, this person called and informed me that my flight is scheduled on June 8, 2008. I was again very happy and my happiness continued when a courier delivered my original visa and air ticket in the house. That moment, I whispered, THANK YOU LORD! I called my husband and I told him everything. At first, he wants to get angry for keeping it a secret but when I explained him everything, he was very excited also. After six months, we will be together again. I came here with all the hopes that I will make our dreams come true. I left my mom, my 9 yr old daughter and 1yr old baby girl, June 8, 2008. I reached Dubai 10th day of June because of the long stop-over in Brunei. It’s my husband’s birthday also. That is also the day when the doctor removed the steel in his foot. We didn’t see yet the time I came here. I stayed first with my friend for 2 days while he’s in the hospital. He was discharged June 11 and June 12, he forced his self to fetch me in Dubai because He was in Ras Al Khaimah, 1hr travel to Dubai. After we meet, we go here in Ras Al Khaimah again. That time he was still on-leave from the work, that is why, he helped me find a job. After a month, with the help of GOD, I got a job here in Ras Al kHaimah in a shipping company. I can say that this is very good blessings for us because the Lord finds a way to give me a better opportunity for work. I also thank the Lord for my husband’s recovery from the accident. Even though, he’s not yet fully recovered because there is still fracture in his bone, I thank you Lord because he go back to work again and I know that he will continue to heal and he will fully remove the fracture in his bone. At present, I stay here for almost 1yr already. We find a christian church here where we attend every friday. GLORY TO GOD..AMEN.
