I know that some people may be turned off by my principles that I am incorporating but it's the ultimate principle and I will stand behind my belief 110%!!!! Ok, Iknow you won't believe this but I've tried to write this comment three times. Three times I've been cutoff from communicating with you! AARRGH! Ok.... deep breath....1..2..3...
So, I know I'm silly. Lack of sleep will do that to you.
First, God Loves good clean humor. But really, you need to pray to God. Share your inner most thoughts with him. Trust in his Love and care for you is BIG. Faith is the channel for your connection to God and Grace is what you will recieve. He tells us in Matthew 7:7, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”
This one of my favorite scripture quotes. We must be open to what God wants for us. Sometimes this may be hard to understand or handle. Nancy you are already making "good choices". You have chosen to connect with other believers to support you and love you. WECOME! My sister once again. May the light of God's Love guide you through life.

Myspace Friends Comments Welcome! My name is paige, another Moderator here on TheNet and I am soo happy that you are here to fellowship with us as we grow in His love and strength each day. We are a group of beleivers that want to share the love of Christ with one another and encourage and support us as we walk faithfully in Him.
You came to the right place if you are looking to get "filled" with the word of God, and get the prayer,and counsel you need.

I joined here last October and it has been the greatest tool to get me educated and encouraged more in the word. I moved to a new area away from friends and family and didnt know many people. I was pretty bummed out, but then i ran into this site, and I have alot of good supportive christian friends here from all over the world. I have met friends that I hope will last a long time, Lord willing.

I see that you teach Tai Chi! That is soo wonderful! I have watched it, but never took a class. I am a big fitness fan and I religiously work out every day and I though about Tai Chi, but never really pursued it. I worked out too much before Christ, and sadly to say, I took it too far. I became anorexic and bulimic and worked out a good 5 hours a day at the Gym. I started that pattern in 1997 and almost lost my life in 2000. I came to Christ in 2002 and I have been healed and my life restored. I still have bad days, but that is a given when you are walking with Christ. Satan doesnt want you to succeed in Christ. But anyway, I havent been to a gym sisnce 2000, and I wont go. I saty in shape by walking, running,strength training, and I have kept all my old workout videos to do. Except the Jane Fonda ones, Ha Ha! I had to throw those out. I love Pilates too but since the birth of my second child, I havent done it yet.

Anyway, its great that you have incorporated Christianity in with the meditation and TaiChi that you do. That is good. I was doing Yoga not long after I came to Christ, and had NO idea that yoga was connected to worshipping the sun.moon.water, and whatever else. I didnt think I was worshipping these things , but oh well. I stopped doing it anyway. I didnt want any more demonic attack. I do believe that meditation and stretching are vital to any health and excersize program, and I dont think you need to do "yoga " to get it .

Anyway, I am soo pleased to meet you and I hope you enjoy youreslf here. Id like to chat with you more, so I guess we will see you around.

I had great inspiration from Jesus this past weekend! I went to a Christian store and purchased two small pocket-size books. One is called Psalms for the Day and the other is Proverbs to Live By. I also went to an on-line store and purchased many ringer T-shirts about Jesus, Pro-Life, etc. My favorite T-shirt has a Red Cross and it says MY LIFEGUARD WALKS ON WATER. I found a cute martial arts one that has Jesus doing a sidekick and it says JESUS IS MY SENSEI (I was thinking about your grandson when I saw it...LOL).

Hi Nancy! I just wanted to share something with you. Our walk with Jesus is like going to the Ocean as a child for a day of fun. We walk towards the Ocean waves crashing on the shore and can't wait to get in. But as we approach we have doubts. Is it cold? Will it knock me down? Are there really big fish out there? Will the big fish get me? But, we venture slowly towards the water and wait for the foam and that first touch of the water. Then , from no where a bigger kid comes running and laughing, splashing cold water all over us. Life is like the Ocean big,powerful full of the unknown. We stand there crying and shivering and what we thought could be wonderful is suddenly frightening. God Is our Father he is right there to hold us. Life will keep on throwing waves at us. Waves of fear, unhappiness, injustice. But we must take God's hand. Let him hold us and trust that he will bring us to life with all it's "waves" and show us the joy there is to be found in this "ocean" we call life. Nancy I pray that your happiness can be like the trusting child. So that you can jump and splash like a little girl again in life's ocean.

God's Will for you, it can be done indeed!

Value Life...........

Long time ago, there was an Emperor who told his horseman that if he could ride on his horse and cover as much land area as he likes, then the Emperor would give him the area of land he has covered.
Sure enough, the horseman quickly jumped onto his horse and rode as fast as possible to cover as much land area as he could. He kept on riding and riding, whipping the horse to go as fast as possible. When he was hungry or tired, he did not stop because he wanted to cover as much area as possible.
Came to a point when he had covered a substantial area and he was exhausted and was dying. Then he asked himself, "Why did I push myself so hard to cover so much land area? Now I am dying and I only need a very small area to bury myself."
The above story is similar with the journey of our Life. We push very hard everyday to make more money, to gain power and recognition. We neglect our health , time with our family and to appreciate the surrounding beauty and the hobbies we love.
One day when we look back , we will realize that we don't really need that much , but then we cannot turn back time for what we have missed.
Life is not about making money, acquiring power or recognition.

Therefore, never feel that God doesn't hear our prayers
because a prayer isn't answered the way we want, or something
goes wrong in our life. For our Heavenly Father always knows
what is best for us, and: HE WILL NOT LEAVE YOU NOR
FORSAKE YOU. ( DEUTERONOMY 31:6 )

So my friend, remember to always: GIVE THANKS TO THE
LORD, CALL ON HIS NAME; MAKE KNOWN AMONG THE
NATIONS WHAT HE HAS DONE for you!
( 1 CHRONICLES 16:8 )

In closing, MAY THE GRACE OF THE LORD JESUS
CHRIST, AND THE LOVE OF GOD, AND THE
FELLOWSHIP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT BE WITH YOU ALL,
