before I welcome you here, you really touched my heart about losing your art talent. That is a lie form the enemy!!! I know because I experienced the same feeling. I was a really good artist, won all the awards,the shows,the festivals, went to college in Computer graphics then got a good job in the field. But i got all caught up in the money and the world that I didnt even touch my artwork anymore. I though, "why"? I dont have time for that. Well anyway, my life went down hill because I got ill with an eating disorder that nearly killed me, I lost my job,I was hospitalized repeatedly,depressed,suicidal, Couldnt hold on to a job, and my husband and I were suffering financially since I could not hold a job. Our marriage fell apart, and I was soo sick I ended up homeless. It was only at that time of brokenness that I cried out to God and gave my life to Christ through one of my only friends I had left. Ever since 2001, I have been walking in Christ, and I tell you, it has changed my life. Sure, I still go through stuff, but I try to keep focused. God restored my love for art, and even provided clients for me. It took time, but it was worth it!!! My dear, I surely hope you havent completely given up. If I can be delivered and restored to what God had planned for me all along which was being an artist, he can do that with you too!!!! I hope you take what I say to heart. Believe me, I was a wreck and there was NO hope for me, but God restored my life, my marriage, and the calling He had for me! He can do that for you!!! PLEASE make yourself sit infront of that canvas,or paper, and just let it out. You dont know how it will be till you try!!
I hope you take this advice. I know how you feel. Please know that you are loved and that God will not give up on you. Please DO NOT LET GO OF YOUR GIFT!!!!!You are a blessing! I am glad you are here!!! I would love to help more if I can!

How are you?? I am excited to see you online here. R you enjoying it here? I know that you will and meet the greatest Chrsitian brothers and sisters in Christ here. I love it here. This site is my home apart from my home church,and the serving I do there. I love what i do at church. God has blessed me by giving me oppurtunities to paint art and murals inside churches. It is awesome. What kind of art do you like to do? I prefer acrylics,colored pencil,charcoal, and pastels. Isnt drawing and painting theraputic? I love it. But with 2 little ones now, I find it a little harder to do. Anyway, I would love to get to know you more. You and I are similar in many ways, but I think I can be pretty scary sometimes, so youll have to forgive me...just kidding.

Thank you for the message! I am soo lucky to have found a Christian sister like you. I want to encourage you to press in and press on to what the Lord has for you. I have had times where I think that there is no way that I can overcome a situation Im iin or a feeling or a problem that is happening, but I promise you, He does come through, You just dont know when or how. If we knew what He was goinf to do and how He was going to do it, then He wouldnt be God now would He?? I just went through a horrible depression and I thought the most craziest things that I hadnt thought of since before I was a christian. I thought I was going crazy and I felt soo much shame that I was feeling like this being a Christian. I should know better. Well, I made it through. God gave me ways to get help, but I had to get myself to go. You can too!! Please pick up a pencil and draw little sketches, or write in a journal about what is going on inside. Cry out to God and let it out. I have to all the time.

God gave you that gift to use for His glory and His kingdom. Please use what He gave you, and put it on paper,canvas,or even a wall like I do. I just have this feeling that th elord really wants you to start again. Paint or draw anything. It was soo hard for me to pick up a pencil again. Before Christ, I quit drawing alltogether. I was never going to draw again. My addiction took me over and led me to death. Luckily God got me right before I had no more breath in me. Anyway, I just love you and I really want to help you if I can. We can help eachother through all the 'stuff" that happens in life. and "stuff" is always bound to happen.

What is going on? How is the drawing coming? I pray that you are doing well sweetie. I think about you alot and always hope that you are doing good. Im doing alright I suppose. I have been worse and I have been better, ya know how that is?? I have been spending a little more time off line and diving into Gods word. Getting your priorities messed up can really make a mess before long. I love it here, and i have been here for over a year, but I noticed that I was on way too much and was feeling so "dry" in my faith. So Im focusing on what matters most in keeping the faith. I hope that you are good at prioritizing. Its a blessing to have that gift if you do.
Anyway, let me know if you have at least attempted to draw something. I am thinking of you always!

I didnt have the best Christmas, but not the worst. There were alot of family issues. It really hurt, but thanks be to God that He helped me get through the disapointment and the pain. He is still working with me and in me. How was your Christmas? I hope it was a real blessing to you. So, you are moving! Wow! So is my mom. In fact she is already done. She didnt need to move around Xmas but she did. I think now she is regreting it. I didnt see her on Xmas because of it and it hurt, but oh well. That is my mother for you.
Anyway, I hope the move goes well. Will you be moving into a new home? apartment? How exciting. Having a new place to start over is really refreshing. How are your kids handling the move? I hope they are ok. You will have to tell me more about your boys. How old are they? I forgot. I have a bad memory, sorry. My son just turned 4 and my daughter is now 1 last August. I bet you are in top shape, right??? Out here, everyone is hurting. Jobs are being lost and there are mass lay offs everywhere!!! We have been lucky ourselves, but I know soo many others crying out to God for help. I cry out to Him daily just to help me emotionally. I have to say that I havent been online that much. Due to a few things in my life that just dont allow as much time as I used to have to hang out here. I miss my really close friends and family in Christ here. Especially you. How are you? How is that artwork coming? I know that once you do it, you will feel better. Beleve me,you will!! Its hard to get back into at first, but once you do, it is worth it. I am doing alot of it again, but it is still a daily struggle to get up and get going. Once I do, I feel praetty good. So, how has been your walk with the Lord? Mine has been ok. He is showing me alot lately. Things that I havent gotten over yet that I need to deal with. It is hard.
