Your second question...how I came to know about this site? It was a complete accident or perhaps NOT an accident?! haha I actually was watching a documentary about Christian martyrs. One in particular was Polycarp from I think 150A.D. I Googled Polycarp's name and got on this site somehow. I like stories about martyrs for Christ. I always think, could I be this bold and brave? In any case, I came across this site and it talked about other religions vs. Christianity etc. etc. I'm sorry my answer is quite long! God bless!
Felix, thank you brother for your kind words. I was blessed with the gift of writing, although many times it is automatic writing, which means I do not realize what I am writing while I am writing it. I know this is true because I go back and read it later and it is foreign to me, and I am amazed! I hope it touches hearts, as I feel that is why God has blessed me with such a gift. Praise be lifted up to Him! Have a wonderful day, my brother.
Hi Felix, thanks for the comment. As for your Question,I found this site as i surfing through the net searching for the life of Jesus Christ. My first Impression is to know many friends in the name of Jesus.
Thank you, Felix. I sometimes take a long time to make a small point. Something to that effect. You are very kind my friend!
So you are from the Phillipines? One thing I find amazing is so many people from other countries here. It's really neat! I'm so excited to meet people and learn a lot myself! Everyone's pages are so nice. I am trying to get mine up to speed as I learn how this site works!
Grandfathers are treasures:) I did not get married until I was 38 so I had a bit of a late start. I didn't think I would have children but, God had other plans!
Hi Felix, thank you for welcoming me to the site. I found the site while browzing through various sites on the prayer of Jabez. The beautuful woman on my arm is my fantastic wife.
Thank you felixpadua for the welcome. I found the site by browsing the Internet for Christian websites. So far I like it a lot. Several people contacted me within a few hours, which surprised me because I have been on other forums before and seemed rather invisible. So I enjoy the poeple here and their enthusiasm. Your joke was funny and yet, so true. Often the collection plate is filled with one dollar bills only.
I am sorry for late reply. Now , actually, after once going to America 7 years ago, I have lived in Japan, wishing I could go to America, or other countries,, My contract with company expired the end of May, not be renewed. I was really suprised to know my contract won't be renewed. I didn't expect it at all!! I was shocked. But this is His will, so He has already prepared for me the better place,,, I am a little happy not to work and get a long break from July,, But I am very afraid to think how I evangelize people in company before I leave. Well,, May God bless you more and more!! In Christ, Masaaki
I love you so much, Felix! Your words are pure gold motivation for me to continue with my work. There are times when I really want to throw up my hands and give up, but I know that God wants me to pick up my cross and walk with Him. I just need to trust in Him. Sometimes it is just SO hard! Just knowing that you are in the Phillipines and praying for me to succeed is such an uplifting thought! I am so grateful for this place that we have found to meet with one another and share our thoughts and love for our Father. We are so fortunate to have the ability to reach out to one another across time and space. God is so wonderful in His gifts to us!! Thank you again, for your very sweet and endearing mention of me having a fan club...and I want you to know that I am the self-appointed president of YOUR fan club! Until we speak again, my brother, God bless and keep you always...
Thank you for your comments on my children pictures. My son he do not play basketball neither rap, he likes foot ball. My daughter's hair took a 6hrs to braid, and it is down to the middle of her back. Do you have children and how old are they?

Thank you so much, Felix, for sharing your patient and loving story about your mother-in-law. I realize that if I lived in a different culture, things would be very different. Regardless, I really do want to reach the point where I can conduct myself the way you do and the way Christ would have. I want to show her my love and affection; as in all reality my heart yearns for it.
Since my Easter decision to give my life to Christ, our relationship has changed a great deal. The day I blogged about going over to their house to help with the butchering of the steer was one of the first times that I listened to her comments and advice without feeling offended or annoyed, and genuinely enjoyed her company. I simply listened, thanked her for all the hard work and beef that they let us have, hugged her (which is rare for me to do with anyone), and told her how much I loved and appreciated her. What this tells me is that I can be open-minded and soft hearted around her in personal and social settings, but I have yet to extend this same grace when we are in religious situations. I know this is because I simply have not been able to wrap my mind around how she could be such a different person when she steps foot into the church. Until I can come to an understanding about why this happens, or God convicts me for being such a judgemental person (which He is already working on in me...), I guess I will continue to struggle with it. I pray to our Lord Father that my heart opens farther than it has, and that I find that kind and generous person within me. Please pray for me, Felix, and let your mother-in-law know that your biggest fan says that she is truly one lucky lady! God bless and keep you, Brother. Praise God!
Hello Bor.Felix, its raining here in Sta.Rosa,Laguna.Don't worry about your cellphone the good Lord will return it to you.Keep praying.Have a nice day and God bless.(LBR)

Hi mate, thanks for the welcome and the witty wedding joke. Eden Exile is an alias - I wasn't sure if folk used their real names or aliases here. Anyway, my real name is Jon and it is good to know you.
Thanks for adding me to your friends list Felix, it will be great getting to know someone who lives so far away - I imagine that your country is very beautiful.
Cheerio and wishing you all good things in Christ

Heavenly Father,
I Lift Monica up to You and ask that You put a hedge of protection around her. Protect her spirit, body, mind, and emotions from any kind of evil or harm. I pray specifically for protection from accidents, disease, injury, or any other physical, mental, or emotional abuse. I pray that she will make her refuge "in the shadow of Your wings" until "these calamities have passed by" (psalm 57:1). Hide her from any kind of evil influences that would come against her. Keep her safe from any hidden dangers and let no weapon formed against her to be able to prosper. Thank you, Lord, for your many promises of protection. Help her to walk in Your ways and in obedience to Your Will so that she never comes out from the umbrella of that protection. Keep her safe in all she does and wherever she goes. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
Heavenly Father, I lift my daughters Bea Margaret and Gilda Monica up to You and ask that You put a hedge of protection around them. Protect their spirit, body, mind, and emotions from any kind of evil or harm. I pray specifically for protection from accidents, disease, injury, or any other physical, mental, or emotional abuse. I pray that they will make their refuge "in the shadow of Your wings" until "these calamities have passed by" (Psalm 57:1). Hide them from any kind of evil influences that would come against them. Keep them safe from any hidden dangers and let no weapon formed against them able to prosper. Thank you, Lord, for your many promises of protection. Help them to walk in Your ways and in obedience to Your Will so that they never come out from the umbrella of that protection. Keep them safe in all they do and wherever they go. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
Felix,
I just read these precious words from Myles Munroe book" Kingdom principles". wow, soo good and encouraging:
"God is not to blame for human evil and suffering. We brought these things on ourselves by our own selfishness and rebellious spirit. God wants to help but will not intervene unless invited to do so by Kingdom citizens who know their dominion authority. Through prayer we invite God to act in our domain". This is what Jesus meant when He said: " I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven ( Matthew18:18 ).
Now Felix, I notice one thing in people, maybe not all but sadly the majority, the poor envy the rich and yes some are lazy and want sth for nothing. When I am ready to judge them or look down at them, I get reminded by the spirit of God that when we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners ( Romans 5:6 ) the new living translation.
and it leaves me no room to judge but to call on God who was and is and will be gracious to deliver us all.
Thanks Felix for your comment and prayer, I did find a godly friend in you. God bless you always. -Therese
Hi Felix! Thanks for passing by and leaving a few words of greetings on my page. I thank God for your faithful ministry among us. My time online has been limited because of other pressing demands offline. But I still come frequently for a short while to respond to my friends and group members. I hope to get back on stream soon. God bless you and your family. I hope your health is much improved. You are in my prayers.
Hello and how are you? A preacher friend of mine emailed me this joke hope you enjoy.
Baptist Shampoo
in a grocery store, two Baptist church ladies happened to pass by the beer, wine, and liquor section. One asked the other if she would like a beer.
The second good Baptist sister answered that, indeed, it would be very nice to have one, but that she would feel uncomfortable about purchasing it.
The first sister replied that she would handle that without a problem. She picked up a six-pack and took it to the cashier.
The cashier had a surprised look, so the good Baptist sister said, 'This is for washing our hair.'
Without blinking an eye, the cashier reached under the counter and put a package of pretzel sticks in the bag with the beer. 'The curlers are on me.'
Thanks for the welcome, Our Lord is the same yesterday, today and forever,
Continually praise and worship the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.
