HIFelix, I wanted to answer your question about running. Obviously, it is good for your health but the biggest reason I love it is because I see it as an analogy for life. The Bible says in Hebrews 12:1, "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge cloud of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off wvery weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. AND LET US RUN WITH ENDURANCE THE RACE THAT GOD HAS SET BEFORE US."
I will be running the Flying Pig Marathon this May. It will be my first. I did the half-marathon last year and I am running the full one this year in memory of my husband who died last October.
