Well me my self and i i havve been doig what i need to do in strengthing my walk with god because i been out there in the wilderness when i was addicted to drugs and alcohol . Thank You for asking, I've been out of work for sometime now, a former truck driver working over the road. Came of the road about 2 yrs ago due to my fathers terminal illness, which this past year in February he passed away of pancreatic cancer at 64 yrs old. Been a rough year but God has been my rock and so has my fiance' and family..

Bible hermeneutics (more specifically Biblical exegesis) is the study of the background info of the people, places, and things in the Bible, as well as the grammar of the original languages. It's fascinating, because we can learn so much more about, for example, an event in Scripture if we know the culture and beliefs of the people it happened to. There's also a little bit lost in translation between the original languages of the Bible to the English version, so knowing bits and pieces (or even all of) the Greek or Hebrew or Aramaic helps to understand so much better. It's all really interesting to me (though that's probably because I'm just a nerd like that :D).

I noticed the way you greeted one of the members here. It appeared that you may have been telling her this was not the place for her. Do not do that! Encourage her, hold her and lift her up... Together we are the body of Christ....living for Christ, as Christ would do. Jesus would NEVER tell anyone to go away..but HE would embrace them and care for them, and reassure them of His Great Love...and tell them that He has the Victory already, we just need to rest in Him.

I encourage you to go to her and apologize.

There are many members who join us here on this site who are hurting and lost. They need encouragement from us. They need to be embraced and taken care of. We are Jesus's hands and feet. I pray that we will extend a warm welcome to everyone.
