Merry Christmas and a happy new year,in this season i believe all we can do is to rejoice in his glory for he's been a good God and as we take a review of the year we need to start by taking account of the prayers and prophetic words that we've spoken over our lives.
What did the steward of God speak at the beggining of the year 2008 that has not been fulfilled and ask ourselves where we missed the mark for in Jos 1:6 which to me is this generations mission statement when we continue in our pursuit of God and fulfilling the word "Men ought to pray" i believe we will have a powerful year 2009 only if we stand on his word plus the prophetic words that have been spoken to us.

merry christmass to you and all those friends i have there. how are things moving? i was delighted to learn about the marriage of dyana. Though not a good thing, don't overly mind that she married a non-believer since it is God who calls whoever he wants and gives same to Christ to be saved. Maybe through her, Wayan will one day come to know and accept Christ. unless people are preached to, how can they know of the saving grace of god that has been shed abroad to all in increasing measure? Just don't stop praying for them my dear...and have faith that God can do what man cannot do. a prosperous new year 2009 to you Christie!

It is good indeed to look back at the just concluded year 2008...and to know how many steps we walked together hand in hand. If we appeared to lose fellowship sometimes towards the end of the same, know it was due to matters beyond my control.

2009 promises to be a better year although all indications may point otherwise the world over. Trust that God is in control and that all things will work out for the better. Continue doing all things you do for Christ for a sure reward awaits all who will persevere to the end.

MORNING

The righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe. Rom. 3:22

He hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. II Cor. 5:21

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. Gal. 3:13

Who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption. I Cor. 1:30

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour. Titus 3:5, 6

I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, and be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith. I was so touched by what you shared today when you wrote;
We shall try to trust in God like a contented child lying in its mother's arms.

God has been showing me that the reason we have such a hard time trusting God is because we haven't come into that close relationship with him that He so desires us to have with Him.

The Holy Spirit is like a mother in many ways, He comforts, and encourages, corrects us when we need to be, He loves us and helps us to develop the character of Jesus in our lives.

You know more than I do about being a mother and you can understand much better about how it feels to have that kind of a connection with a child.
