High Ramona,
It is really quiet on line today due to many in the US preparing for thanksgiving so I have some time to connect with old friends.

The meeting that I told you about that was going to be at Jacob's parents home has had so much excitement in the area from others churches wanting to join us in seeking the Lord that the meeting is being moved to the church.

There is a growing number who are coming up from Connecticut also. During such a busy time of the year this is really different. It always kind of bothered me that most get so wrapped up in the commercialism of Christmas that Jesus takes a back seat.

My wife even informed me that she was going also. This is an answer to prayer for she has not been in church in a year. God has been using certain people to reach out to her in the last month or two and showing her love.

Last August God gave me the following personal word;

Your wife has deceived herself that I am overlooking all that she has done and is doing.
I will never leave or forsake her. I have been dealing with her and I will continue to contend with her. Continue to trust me and one day you shall see her walk with me once again.
A lot of her anger is directed toward herself. She is stubborn, but in the deep places of her heart she still desires me.

Last week God gave me the following word for her that I gave to her;

My Daughter it has been a long, long time since we have been eye to eye,
heart to heart.

I know you have tried so many things to fill the void in you.

My daughter I will not forget the promises I made when you were just a babe.

I am your father and you will always be my very own.

And here you will find me waiting for you. I am your father.

My daughter I see the pain in your eyes, longing to be loved, longing to be free.

I know your heart has been betrayed, innocence lost.

My daughter, alone in your room, I see your tears falling again,

So let me hold you close.

Here in my arms you will find rest.

I am your father, and you will always be my very own,

She was very moved by this word and said that she wept when she read it. So you see God has helped me to remain hopeful that one day she will be restored and healed from the wound that is in her soul. I will remain hopeful even if it turns out that this meeting that is coming up, is not the time where God does the miracle of restoring her soul. The scripture says that love always hopes so I will continue to trust God and continue to seek him with all my heart. Thanks once again for your prayers and God bless you.

HE WHO INVOKES BLESSING ON HIMSELF (LAND)……… SHALL DO SO BY SAYING, MAY THE GOD OF TRUTH…… BLESS ME. ISAIAH 65:16
Did you know you can bless your self by what you say? The bible says: ‘He who invokes blessing on himself…. Shall do so by saying.” may the God of truth…. Bless me, because the former trouble is forgotten” Two important truth is taught in this scripture.
1. Your own words have more power to affect you than any body else. Ultimately, it is not what others say that counts; it’s what you say to yourself after they get through talking! You always have the last word.
2. You will never enjoy what God has for you in the future while you are still living in the past. To enter the Promised Land, you must first leave the wilderness .So, come into agreement with God; begin to say what He says about you .This is not small matter. What you say from the time you get up in the morning until you go to bed at night not only influences your day, it influences the entire outlook and direction of your life. If you have been praying asking God for specific answers, you can affect the out come by making sure what you say lines up with what He says. In other words; get in harmony with God.
Your body is God’s temple, so be careful what you allow to come out of your mouth (1corinthians 3:16). Fault-finding and negativity destroy and tear down, but scripturally based, faith-filled words open the door to God’s blessings. That is why Paul writes: Let’ no … worthless talk (ever) come out of your mouth, but only such ….. As is ….beneficial, Ephesians 4:29). So before you sound of ask yourself; is this beneficial?
If you continue to say; I am poor you will remain poor forever but if you continue to say iam rich in Christ Jesus, He will continue to bless you. Our tongue is like a fire according to the bible. You can read James 3:6 or read from verse 1 to the end to understand the scripture well. Every morning say something Good to someone and to yourself. There is great blessing in this. Please give it a try and your life will never be the same. Let us have positive mind about the kingdom of God and so shall it be onto us. Jesus loves you so do i.

Another great word from the heart of God sister, thanks for sharing. God truly is in control and as you said in His time He will take action. We all must begin to seek the Lord like never before so the spirit of fear does not grip our hearts because of the evil all around us. Let us look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith and as the old song says;

O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There's a light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,

All things work together for good.
For the bible says there is time for everything under the sun. I used to ask myself a lot of question and always need solution for such question when they come into my mind.
Have you ever felt terribly sad and because of the tremendous problems and heaven burden you carry in life? Do the situations surrounding you paint a bleak future, making you feel apathetic, unhappy, and uncertain? How much time and energy have you spent all day and night wrestling with your troubles yet failing to find the needed solution?
Now, think about this, where in this world can you ever find lasting peace and happiness? Most probably you will give up the search pure happiness and settle down with a cleaver taunting remark that such place still exists, in the mind at least.
So how do you go about your life that is continually peppered with adversities? The bible teaches how we must view the problem we struggle day by day. From the truth I found in the bible, all of us can learn how to deal with frustrations and how to practice prudence in other to enjoy life somehow, with relative ease and contentment. We are getting to the end of the year; most people are worry about what to eat and drink and what to wear. Have you ever sad down and thought about what you have achieved this year? Have you ever thought about how you can come closer to God? What we need to learn is how we ought to deal with both (happiness and sadness) experiences with prudence and profound understanding.

I am good. I moved out of my stepmom's house to live with my cousin in Texas. I plan on finding a job and then moving out if i can. I start school in january if the Lord is willing. I have tried to keep myself busy by thinking of places i want to put an application in and reading the bible.

This is a picture of Jacob last summer at a Christian summer camp. He told me to send it to you. I also took the picture of you and sent it to him. Ryan has no picture on line. Ryan is doing well and is pretty much recovered from his blood disorder.

We had a wonderful time in church today. We have been doing a segment of the Christmas story every week leading up to Christmas with dance, drama, and special music. IT was about joseph this week. The man who played Joseph did an awesome Job, my pastor sang also. next week is the culmanation of it and the kids are going to be in it.

We had so many testimonies today of how God touched people during last weekends services. We could barely get through adult Sunday Schools lesson. The teach recieved an emotional and was healed of acid reflex that he has suffered with for years. It is so cool that we are studying the book of Acts at this time which is really the acts of the Holy Spirit in the Church that is still happening today.

I am so glad to hear how the Lord has touched and restored your heart. You are such a blessing to so many here and all the things you share are like precious jewels and I can speak for many that you are a mother in the faith to us all and you are loved very much. Great will be your reward in Heaven.

Hi Ramona, I made a picture up for Jacab for a Christmas present with the word of the song he wrote last summer.

My son Brennan who lives way out in Colorado calls me every weekend and we talk for an hour or so. Last Saturday while we we talking He took a picture of himself and e-mailed it to me. It was so special to me. I miss him so much and I have to mail his christmas gift out to him this week to make sure he gets it before Christmas. It will be his first christmas away from home.

We are due for another snow storm this week. Last week we has snow and ice, this new storm is ging to be similar. The last 2 days have been above freezing so most of the snow and ice mented.

That is going to be the wonder of Heaven, it will be like what we call a family re-union. My Great grandmother Mabel use to have family re-unions and I have a picture of her with her like 25 grandchildren, My mom is in the picture and she was 3 years old.

Hi Ramona, I went to Mexico on a mission trip for 10 day once in November. We left here it was snowing and cold and when we got there it was so hot you could fry an egg on the pavement.

You can think about us all here freezing with a over a foot of snow on the ground and maybe it will help you to feel cooler. lol

I made Jacob a plague for Christmas with the Break The Chains lyrics on it. He was not in church Sunday, but his dad was there and I gave it to him for Jacob.

We are going to have another storm over Christmas so i met up with my brothers wife and gave them gifts I got for their family to make sure they have them for Chrismas.

I have another bit of good news to tell you. My wife Cheryl was talking to me a few days ago and said she does not want to divorce and wants to work at restoring our marraige. I have some really wonderful friends in my church that are marraige mentors who have agreed to help us. I also went out and bought new rings for us both. they are white gold with a leaf design with little crosses. Her rings match. when I saw them i felt God wanted me to get them. I gave it to her tonight and I have mine on right now.
She really loved the rings and I am hopeful that we will eventually be back together.We live in the same house, but separate apartments right now.

The next thing is that needs to happen is that hshe would give herself to the Lord and come out of her backsliding.
So thanks for your prayers because God is hearing them.

Hi Ramona.

You might of got this message in your other mail so excuse me if you did but it did not seem like it was working right, so i will leave it here also.
It has been a Christmas with mixed emotions this year. My brother in law(my wifes brother) Dean has been here. He is the one whose wife passed away last April at 51. Dean is a wonderful man of God who has been my friend way before I married his sister. He is a pleasure to be around.

My oldest son Ben 24 has been here also for a week or so. He is a musician and is heading out west soon with his brother in Colorado so it was good to have him around. This was the first year my daughter Bethany 17 had her boy friend Aaron here for Christmas dinner.

As for my wife she left on the 23rd to Texas on this trip she has been planning . She is such a prodigal. Sunday on the way home from church I heard a message on the radio about how the father of the prodigal had to let his son go so he could finally realize what he had at home.

She did not tell me she was leaving and it was heartbreaking and disappointing to me that she did this when her family needed her most because of our losses in the past year. Cheryl could not deal with Christmas at all this year and did nothing for anyone. I was able by the grace of God make sure that my family had a good Christmas, but there was a big hole with her gone. I did present her with the new rings and she did not reject them. A part of me wants to just give up, but I feel the Spirit telling me to hold on. Your word about the month of May is the lord also. My daughter is going to be of age 18 April 30th. Cheryl did say to me that she did not wish to disrupt our living situations until after Bethany's birthday. It will also be the 5rd year since I have been sick and had to stop work on May 1rst 2006.
So I know it is very significant.

I also know that Satan always tries to get us to live a reactionary life and God want us to live with him in the eye of the storm where the storm can't touch us and where I we are near to the heart of God. I have to admit that I felt tempted to return the rings.

Dean and I have been able to talk a lot about the situation so I am glad he is here with me. She has been on the road for 5 days now with at least 3 or for more days of travel to get to her destination. She is talking with my daughter letting her know she is alright and where she is. I have not felt ready to speak to her yet and am glad that she is talking to Bethany.

So dear Ramona I thank you for your love and prayers during this time. I received a note from another friend the other day that let me know that God knew what was going on and it brought peace to my heart.

May the Lord bless you richly in the coming year.

Hi Ramona, Thank you for you words of guidance. This is what God had already spoke to my heart. It is most hard for me to see her hurt her own children and push them away. God has called us to be thermostats and not thermometers. Yesterday I taught the adult Sunday School class at church and I was teaching about Holy Spirit and how His work is accomplished in our lives. Just like the Father and Jesus we have many places in scripture describing who He is and what He does.

HE IS THE SPIRIT OF GRACE - LIFE - ADOPTION - HOLINESS - SUPPLICATIONS - TRUTH – GLORY.
Because of the trinity it is hard to distinguish where the work of the Spirit begins and ends and where the work of the Father and Jesus begin and end. But this co-operation is so awesome that we can only describe it as God working in us.

There is great power at work in my situation and I know that Holy Spirit is still at work devising a plan to rescue Cheryl from the pit she is digging for herself.

As you have said it is so important for me to continue to be patient and trust in the Lord no matter what the circumstances.
