    Hello Tisha Steyn!

Its good to have you here. I noticed that you are a newspaper reporter, and love to serve in the body of Christ. i am a graphic designer and have done many ads for the paper. I also am a designer, artist, and a muralist all of which was a gift from God. I have paited artwork for many Christian churches like thier classrooms, childrens ministry, and thier rooms, and bookstores and sanctuaries. I love serving the body of Christ with my love of art. and it sounds like you use your God given talents to help too!

This is Paige, another moderator here on TheNet, and Im very blessed to have you join our community of believers, as we grow in the love and wisdom of our Lord . Its soo neat to meet new friends here from all around the world . You will find TheNet a safe place to get to know other believers and share your love and life in Christ.

I really like it here because its a great online source of Christian information, and fellowship. When I find it hard to get out of the house or hard to get to church, I get online and get "filled" with His word and all the other believers and thier prayers. Its soo good to know that when Im hurting there are others that are too and in need of the same love and support I do from the Lord. Praise God for His work on the Cross!!! We are all one body now and can work together to heal and help other members.
Also, Id like to invite you to come over and visit us in the Womens Group where women from all ages and all walks of life come to encourage and be encouraged to help, and be helped, to share thier wisdom with other women , and get prayer that we all need as women to continue in our faith and the path God has set before us all.
I hope to "see" you often and I would love to get to know you more as we walk this faith. Im your friend, and if I can help or answer any questions for you, Im here. God Bless you, Tisha!!I cant wait to get to know you more.

    Hello Tisha!
Thank you for the beautiful and very kind message. It is soo awesome to get messages like yours. They touch my heart. Especially when I have one of those bad days. I recently had the honor of catching a sinus infection so Im not having too much fun at the moment. I have 2 children. 4 and 1. Chase and Danielle. I am a chronic worrier, and soo intimidated by other moms that it is not even funny anymore! I seriously need to stop the comparing game or Im going to lose it! (Well, I did actually lose alot of brain cells after children, but I would like to at least keep a few brain cells on hand just in case I may need them.) So my babies are alot younger than your babies, but they are still our babies. Anyway, it sounds like you are a very proud mom!! How great of a blessing it is to see and watch your babies love the Lord and excell in anything they put thier minds to. I didnt have the Lord at all growing up, so they are very lucky to have had a Christian family to be raised in. They are very lucky! I didnt know Christ till 2001. My life has completely changed, but sometimes I wish that I was Christian alot earlier. Then I wouldnt have got in that much trouble. I was definately a lost cause, but God loved me enough to reach down and pick me up out of the pit!! It is neat that you and your daughter are best friends. My mother and I always were, but she started to change and is now just a mom. Well, a "stand offish" mom. I cry when I think how close we used to be, but it is a waste of time. She is in her season of "me me me". So I gotta let it go. My father died of alcoholism, and my 2 closest uncles from the same side of the family commited suicide. One did just last July and the other took his life in 1985. It is awful. So please pray that this generational bondage be broken in the name of Jesus!!!I dont want those "genes to get my children!!!
Anyway, I hear kids screaming, I better go, but I definately want to get to know you more!!! You are soo nice and I love what you are doing for the community!!!!

    God, Speak To Me…
The man whispered, "God, speak to me."
    And a meadowlark sang.
But the man did not hear.

So the man yelled "God, speak to me!"
And the thunder & lightning rolled across the sky.
But the man did not listen.

The man looked around and said,
    "God, let me see you."
    And a star shined brightly.
But the man did not see.

    And, the man shouted,
    "God, show me a miracle."
    And a life was born.
But the man did not notice.

So, the man cried out in despair,
    "Touch me, God,
and let me know you are here."

    Whereupon, God reached down
    and touched the man.
But the man brushed the butterfly away
    and walked on.

    This is a great reminder
that God is always around us
in the little and simple things
    that we take for granted...
    even in our electronic age.

The man cried "God, I need your help"
...and an e-mail arrived reaching out
    with good news and encouragement.

But the man deleted it and continued crying...

    The email read,
"The good news is that you are loved."

Don't miss out on a blessing
    because it isn't packaged
    the way that you expect.
