I really desire to get to know God personally. I have asked Jesus into my heart many years ago but He still seems too far away. I feel alone and lonely so many times. I would like to sense His presence once again.
I'm passionate about...
Learning more about God and wonder why He hasn't answered so many of my prayers and those of my adult kids. I question His goodness many times. (I'm sorry if I offended you but I'm being honest).
My story with God
I try to love God as best I can but I know there must be more to the Christian walk than what I experience. I have been disappointed by HIm far too many times. So many unanswered prayers and unfulfilled dreams and desires even though I have delighted myself in HIM and thought I was doing the right thing.
Other stuff about me:
I just wish God would take better care of HIS kids and protect them from so much pain and agony in this life. I thought HE came to give us the abundant life . Why oh why does this life seem so dismal??
Hi Joyelle,
I wanted to leave a little something from the book 'God In The Tough Stuff'...i'm going to message you in a bit, I have to get a few things done. I find these comforting.
Believing in God is a great place to start-but it must never be the end.
There is the God who is, and there is the God we want. They are not always the same.
Making the Kingdom of God your primary concern means you prioritize your life around God and His will for you.
Putting God in second place will never do. If God isn't your first priority, you might as well take Him off your list.
We may let go of God, BUT HE WILL NEVER LET GO OF US.
It really is amazing how God does things, even when it seems like everything is going wrong, later we find out He was at work the whole time. Have Faith & Believe...this will work out that is a promise from God, he will never let go of us or give us more than we can handle!
In Christ,
Debbie
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
In this Holy Day Season... as the world celebrate the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ, we must do what pleases God... total submission of ourselves to God, always do good, and time of renewing our mind...
Everyday must be merry Christmas to all of us not only every Dec 25..
For the true love, peace and joy can be found in Christ alone...
I was reading along when I came accross your comments about deliverance from demons and it having something to do with issues of invading pathoges, or more simply, infection. I was just wondering if you might enlighten me on the idea of infections equating to demons. I'm curious because I have had trouble of the same sort, meaning that I've had relentless recurring infections in my body for many years and don't know where to turn for help with the issue. Doctors havn't helped me with this at all, and I've given up on them. Still suffering, however (I purchase meds without a need for prescriptions). I wonder if you could shed some light on the topic for me by sharing what you will. Thanks!
