Good to see your devotional back this morning. I hope all is well with you. I know god is with you and will always be with you.We had a wonderful prayer meeting last night. There was a sweet little girl who is about 16 named Magen who has a eating disorder and need God's delivering power to set her free. Her dad was there and he was desparate to see his little girl helped. So please remember Megan in your prayers.
We also prayed for the persecuted church around the world, it seems like the persecution has increased lately.
In the US we will be be having an election for a new president and a wonderful Christian women is running as vice presedent. The one who is very conservitive McCain is who I will vote for is her running mate.
I fear what will happen if we get a new president is liberal who will just promote the evil that is going on here. God is in control so I will stay at peace.
It has been very rainy here for the last 2 days so it will knock off alot of leaves from the tree which are beautiful right now as we are in our fall season. We will see snow by the end of the month, and by the 2nd week of November we will see winter until the middle of March, but can see snow into April. It is so funny to talk to focks who are just coming into spring now in other countries.
Well I have rambled on enough, you have a wonderful day dear sister.

Dear, confidence in man will end in disappointments and regret. Yes, the Bible encourages us to be wise in trusting God than putting confidence in man. “It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man” (Ps118:8). The sufferings that Joseph went through would have seemed endless for him. He faithfully followed the Lord and lived a life that pleased Him. He knew God and trusted in Him. He knew that God would certainly reward him and honor his trust in Him. And God did honour his confidence in Him. Beloved! Have u put ur confidence in man and seen tears and pain because of it? Cheer Up! Make the Lord your confidence. Follow Him faithfully and live a life that pleases Him. The Lord will honour your confidence in Him and exalt u before the eyes of the world...

It seems that we find it hard for us to comprehend the goodness of God. God shows His kindness to us when while we were still his enemies, then he sent Jesus Christ to die for us. His kindness and goodness provided a way for us to be saved. Jesus while He walked upon this Earth showed the world the kindness and goodness of God. His kindness and love to us frees us from the power of sin and death. May we remember to praise him for his goodness alway.

The verse you sent today christy reminds me of something i heard recently.We hunger in the natural and thirst in the natural because we need to eat and drink and these are provided by God for our bodies.
In the same way when we hunger and thirst spiritually we are blessed because there is something to fill the spiritual hunger and thirst we have and it is God who satisfies our hungry and thirsty hearts.
Wow! No wonder Jesus said we are blessed.

I just stopped by to say hello. I love what you have done to your page!! and I love the first song! It makes me cry. I love the words. There is power in surrender!
I also like the picture of the light coming through the trees. Its simple, yet powerful. It really is to me because God spoke to me while I was homeless walking along a parkway pathway. I looked up into the trees and there was a amazingly bright light shining on me with such beauty and warmth. I knew it was Him and He said, "My daughter,trust me. I have soo much in store for you."
So thank you for sharing that picture. I would like to somehow put it on my page.

Am sorry for not even sending you an acknowledment on the many bible verses that you share with us. I have just been too busy but be sure i read every one of them and they give me lots of insipration especially since i receive them early morning in these sides of africa and form part of my morning prayer. I usually read them on my phone immediately i wake up and most times i have no time to access the net in the office though its quite cheap here and a bit fast.
Please continue with the very good work you are doing.
