Occupation:
Evangelist, motivational speaker and HR & Legal Co-ordinator
I'm here to...
Link-up and fellowship with all those who worship God in truth and in spirit...to laugh with those who are laughing and to cry with those who are crying and to not only share their pain, but try to lessen it for them in Christ Jesus!
Interests:
I like everything in life knowing that all that happens is God's will for me and that He will always act for my utmost good according to His divine plan. Many things puzzle me...yes...but nothing takes my happiness out of my hands for I know that Jehovah God is in control. Nothing can ever take the truth He has laid out in Romans8:28 from my heart; ALL THINGS WORK OUT FOR MY GOOD. How so wonderful!!!
I'm passionate about...
Making millions of disciples and winning souls for God! I glory in selflessness for He was selfless...He lived for others and though the owner and originator of all, He chose to live a poor man's life. In the same footsteps, I attach very little importance to material things (which are at best only momentary) and have taught my family to aspire for the secret joy derived from giving. We therefore own so little except the very basic!
My story with God
He is the starter and finisher of my faith through His glorious and wonderful Son Jesus Christ. After spending considerable time chasing the vanities of this world, I have come to accept the fact that there is no thrill like knowing and living for Christ. I was once a Catholic of Catholics...and if there is any one thing I know know for sure, it is that CATHOLISM (AND "RELIGIOSITY AS A WHOLE)" IS THE ONE MOST DANGEROUS weapons satan is using to divide the sheep and lead masses to their eternal damnation. I let anyone who would care to listen know this...those people don't worship Jehovah God the way He has decreed to be worshipped! Let all who have ears listen to what the spirit of the Lord is saying!
Other stuff about me:
I am what one may comfortably label "everyone's servant" and a man for all seasons. I go out of my way to comfort all...more so ladies, who life has treated cruelly, more often than not....in the hands of unconverted men. I cry daily when I see the attrocities meted out on innocent children...even by those closest to them. I am mad about children...I just love kids and spend most of my time with them. I strive daily to be a pillar in prayer...and although I fail repeatedly, I know that Christ looks down on me from His high seat and count all my pitiable struggles for righteousness. I cherish prayers for therein lies my (and yours too) only victory over life's challenges! I adorn daily God's Spiritual armour before I step out as outlined in Ephesians 6:11. It is His WAR...we can only win it through HIS ARMOUR...not our pitiable efforts. He won it already for us, hallelujah!!! Worshiping the Lord in truth and spirit is fun...and truly enjoyable!!! I invite all to give Christ their all. You will never regret the effort.

Yes you guessed the first time Nienie, and Ramona. I was thinking of the mom in the sice of spiritual moms here on the net. I know there are hundreds of wonderful moms who also deserve a special moms blessing, but these 2 women are amazing as you know as mothers in the faith.

    Hi Brateng, I want to encourage you today in the Lord to be an optimist, Philipians 4:8 says this;
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

    Ephesian 5:15-21
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
    18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
    19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
    20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

James was an optimist who said to count it all joy when you go through trials. James 1:2.

I think it wonderful to consider Israel in the Old Testament times that they send the praise and worshipers out in battle before their armies. By doing this they were declaring their victory over their enemies. When we are facing a strong enemy it is so important to keep prospective that we are victors in Christ over all the power of the enemy.

So I will encourage you today to keep your focus on Jesus and do not allow the enemy to overwhelm you by the circumstance, but to keep looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of your faith. This is so important as we are coming close to the end of the age. One day Jesus will defeat all his enemies with the word of his mouth.

Greater is Jesus who is in us than he that is in the world. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. No weapon that is formed against us shall prosper.

As long as we are here in this world we will be apposing the darkness of this world, by not conforming to the world, by being salt and light, by speaking the truth in love, by living holy lives separated unto God for his purposes.

My brother I ask for God to bless you today with every good thing in Jesus name.
    In the love of Jesus.

    greetings in jesus name pastor

just recieved an email and i thought that i should share it with you

It Is Hard For A Prodigal When -

Nothing I say or do seems to shock or upset you.

"I forgive you" is uttered as often as my name.

"Don't worry about it" is your answer to everything I have done.

You let me talk about you-know-who and you just smile.

I see you growing spiritually when I am living in sin.

You build me up to our kids so they still love me.

    You have zipped your lips.

You are content living with almost nothing.

You agree to anything and everything I ask.

You depend on Jesus, and not on me, to be your provider.

I can't push your buttons like I once did.

You make it impossible for me to hate you, or even to dislike you.

You seem to remember all the things I like.

You remind me that you will be waiting until you die.

I know the home I left could always be my refuge from the storms
    of life.

I suspect everyone is reminding you how I will never change, and
adding how old dogs don't learn new tricks. I am not a dog and I
am not out to learn tricks. I set out to be happy without you,
but every time you show me unconditional love, instead of anger
and attempting to get even, something is being changed in my
heart, one small bit at a time.

People are also probably telling you not to be a doormat for me,
but they have it all wrong. You are not being a door mat, but a
    welcome home mat.

    The prodigal said:
    "I never loved you."
    The Lord said:
"I have loved you with an everlasting love." (Jeremiah 31:3)

    The prodigal said:
    "You never satisfied me."
    The Lord said:
"You open your hand and satisfy the desire of every living
    thing." (Psalm 145:16)

    The prodigal said:
    "I am never coming back."
    The Lord said:
"He who goes out weeping carrying seed to sow, will return
with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him." (Psalm 126:6)

    The prodigal said:
    "Stop praying for me!"
    The Lord said:
"Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat
    you." (Luke 6:28)

    The prodigal said:
    "I hate you."
    The Lord said:
"Everyone who does evil hates the light for fear that his
deeds will be exposed." (John 3:20)

    The prodigal said:
    "You act so holy."
    The Lord said:
"For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy
    life." (I Thessanlonians 4:7)

    The prodigal said:
    "You are a hypocrite."
    The Lord said:
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged." (Matthew 7:1)

    The prodigal said:
"I don't know what to do."
    The Lord said:
"Come, follow me," Jesus said, and I will make you fishers
    of men." (Mark 1:17)

These words are being written at 6 AM. Charlyne will find them
on her vanity as a good morning greeting. How do I know all
those things wayward spouses say? Sadly, they have each been
uttered in our home. Today, as you prepare to face another day
without your spouse serving the Lord look through the eyes of
faith at the morning note your mate will leave you, in God's
    timing.

Because He lives,I can also live

    Hi Brateng,
Just a note to say hello and hope all is well with your soul!
I have been busy learning how to opererate a new computer
among many other tasks, some for God and some for others.
I truely wish I could spend all of my time with God, I guess I
will have to wait a little longer. I had some stents inserted in
my heart arteries last month, I did have selfish thoughts about
going home, but I know he still wants to use me here, so I will
honor his wishes, and look forward to the day! Blessings to you

    Dearest Brother Bernhard
You really do not have to comment about my plan of roaming Jakarta's dangerous street for Christ on my page, for really I just want to do it with two friends quietly. The rapidly growth of Churches in the world for me seems can not catch up with His second coming. So everybody has to do a little what they can, that is including me and my friends. I need to pray first for His approval. Or at least the three of us can make a Prayer Team at least. Remember that I need your support too as you have the experience of facing a moslem's city. Just stay blessed brother.

Thank you so much. Praise God! All the glory, or course, goes to Him. I'm just kinda stumbling around here, making comments when I feel led & then forgeting where they are! LOL! I want to be a simple example for others to follow. I see so much potential in this site for the Body of Christ to grow up & be released to do His will. Yes, I'd love to be friends.
  • Deborah Sue Schenfeld

I love your pictures of all these precious little ones! I haven't been to Kenya, but I have been to So. Africa. Beautiful country, but so much sadness & strife. (Like you said, especially for the women & children.) Thank you for adding me as a friend.

    LIFE'S LITTLE LESSONS...

Don't go for looks, they can deceive.
Don't go for wealth even that fades away.
Go for someone who makes you smile.

    There are moments in life
    when you really miss someone
that you want to pick them up
from your dreams and hug them.
Hope you dream of that someone.
Dream what you want to dream,
go where you want to go,
be what you want to be,
because you have only one life
and one chance to do all the things
    you want in life.

    May you have...
Enough happiness to make you sweet
Enough trials to make you strong
Enough sorrow to keep you human
Enough hope to make you happy
And enough money to buy gifts.

When one door of happiness closes, another opens.
But we often took so long at the closed door,
that we don't see the one which has been opened for us.

The best kind of friend is the one
you could sit on a porch, swing with,
never saying a word and then walk away feeling
like that was the best conversation you've had.

It's true that we don't know
what we've got until we lose it,
but it's also true that we don't know what
we've been missing until it arrives.

Always put yourself in other's shoes.
If you feel that it hurts you,
it probably does hurt the person too.
    A careless word may kindle a strife;
A cruel word may wreck a life
A timely word may level stress
A lovely word may heal and bless.

The beginning of love is to let those we love
    be perfectly themselves and
not to twist them with our own image,
otherwise we love only the reflection
of ourselves we find in them.

    The happiest people don't necessarily
    have the best of everything,
they just make the most of everything
    that comes along the way.
Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people
before meeting the right one so that
when we finally meet the right person,
we should know how to be grateful for that gift.
It takes a minute to have a crush on someone,
an hour to like someone and a day to love someone
    - but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.

Happiness lies for those who cry,
    those who hurt,
    those who have searched
    and those who have tried.
For only they can appreciate the importance
of people who have touched their lives.

Love is when you take away the feeling,
    the passion, the romance
and find out you still care for that person.
A sad thing about life is that when you meet
someone who means a lot to you
only to find out in the end that it was never
bound to be and you just have to let go.

    Love starts with a smile,
    develops with a kiss
    and ends with a tear.
Love comes to those who still hope
    even though they've been disappointed,
    to those who still believe
    even though they've been betrayed,
need to love those who still love,
even though they've been hurt before.
    It hurts to love someone,
and not to be loved in return
but what is most painful is to love someone
    and never finds the courage
to let the person know how you feel.

    The brightest future will always
be based on a forgotten past.
You can't go on well in life until you let go
of your past failures and heartaches.

    Never say goodbye when you still want to try;
    Never give up when you still feel you can take it;
Never say you don't love that person anymore
    when you can't let go.

    Giving someone all your love
is never an assurance that they'll love you back.
    Don't expect love in return,
just wait for it to grow in their hearts
    but if it doesn't,
be content it grew in yours.

There are things you love to hear
but you would never hear it from
the person whom you would like to hear it from,
but don't be deaf to hear it from the person
who says it with his heart.

When you were born, you were crying
and everyone around you was smiling.
Live your life to the fullest so that when you die,
you're smiling and everyone around you is crying.

    Hi Brother Brateng,
In reply to your question about my arteries, I have been diagnosed with atherosclerosis, (hardening of the arteries) I had 3 blockages to my heart and was close to having a heart attack. I am fine now, I have changed my diet and added exercise to my agenda. Any prayer is welcome to help me keep my new habits and not to go back to old ones. So what about you and your family, is all going well for you? I will continue to pray for all of you also.
  • indiegirl

    Dear bro Brateng...
Things are good with me, hopefully with you too, and I think I wouldn't have to worry because the Lord himself will take care of us all. How's with your ministry...? Hope it grows well since I believe that God Himself that makes the growing. I was wondering .....according to you and this is my question I usually asked my self...why do you think God let us have all the different faith here on earth? If you think this is too stupid a question...he...he...you may not answer. You know so many problems have come because of this matter...I would think that the problems come because as human we're not perfect and we wouldn't be able to know the effect globally and usually only think in our own protection and perspective. What do you think?
Hope it's not too much to ask, my bro...
    Peace always be with u.
  • Blessed Highly Favored Woman of God!

Good Day my brother in Christ, and may you and your family (very beautiful) have a very Happy and Spirit filled day! And may the good Lord continue to shine his light on you. God Bless
  • Pastor Bob B

Hi Brateng, God has been really speaking to me about being a better encourager in my life. I found this video clip From a movie that was out a couple of years a go that was based from the writing of Tobin who was a christian and wrote fairy tails and put Christian truth in them. This move was called The return of the king. Frota has to accomplish a task and is just to weak and his faithful friend Sam steps in to help.
The first thing that comes to mind when I think of this clip is that we will at times be like Frodo, in despair and not able to see any good in continuing on. It is during those times that we will need someone like a Sam in our lives to help us.

"I may not be able to carry it, but I can carry you"

    Sam Gamgee

A little side note about Jesus. Jesus carried his own cross and yet at one point he also needed the help of Simon of Cyrene.

26As they led him away, they seized Simon from Cyrene, who was on his way in from the country, and put the cross on him and made him carry it behind Jesus.

    Luke 23:26 (NIV)

Even Jesus! Yes. The Lord himself needed someone to help him complete his mission, so who am I to think that I can do it on my own?

Are you in need of a Sam in your walk with God right now? If not, great. Then be a Sam for someone who might need one at this time.

Discipleship is the understanding that we need each other to make it all the way to the end. If someone tells you that you can be a Lone Ranger Christian don't listen to that person. Chances are they haven't read the bible or don't believe the principle should be obeyed.

23Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. 25Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

    Hebrews 10:23-25 (NIV)

"Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."
    Galatians 6:1-2 (NIV)

How are you this day, my friend? Is there anything in your life or ministry that I could pray for you about? We don't get much international news in the States. You could call it the, "Head in the sand" syndrome, or having our "head up our #%tt's!' That may seem like a strange thing to say to a pastor I don't know, but I wish my country would wake up to the plight of other countries. Be blessed, my brother!

Oh my dear friend, Life sometimes gets in the way of what I want to do.

All is well, just very hetic if I am not careful. I have been working 6 days a week with my store. But I finally have a very good young man who is picking up a lot of the work for me. God had been really working overtime to bless the store. Our sales went up 45% in one month, but most importantly He has allowed me to use the store's resources to support/mentor two at risk youth and a local children's theater group. Then last weekend my oldest daughter got married. My youngest daughter is here visiting from London. I had not seen her in about 9 or 10 months. As if that was not enough, I am still trying to get the move into my new house finished and rent/sell the old house.

Am still searching to "find myself in God's perfect will." But I think I have made a little progress. I am much more protective of my devotional time and most days can really feel God's presence. I am starting to undertand that some of the legalitic things I grew up with (like women's limited minitry roles) were man's laws not Gods. It is become an exciting time of discovery. I pray one day I will be able to share those discovers with my family in away they will understand.

I promise not to stay away so long, I do miss my friends on this site.

    Your sister in Christ, Sue

My friend Roberto ask some one what happens if you are always looking in the rear view mirror when your driving? You crash.
As your new week begins remember to move forward in the Lord.
    In the love of Jesus.

    greetings in jesus name pastor

There's Power In The Name Of Jesus! -

"Be filled with the Spirit. Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." Ephesians 5:18b-21 Do you know the power there is in the Name of Jesus? May we never forget that God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to save His people from their sins.

This is a very important fact for you to know as you stand for the healing and restoration of your marriage. You need to know that there is only One person who can rescue and save your spouse and His Name is Jesus. The next hindrance that we are going to learn on the Lord's Day is not praying in Jesus' Name. Jesus taught His disciples to use His name. "I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.

You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it." John 14:12-14 Do you know the power in the Name of Jesus? When you do not know what else to pray and you are hurting from the pain of separation or divorce cry out saying the name, "Jesus." If you are feeling weary, tired, discouraged, or distressed, say the name, "Jesus." He will hear your cry and meet your needs.

Every day pray short and long prayers as regularly as you eat. There is such power, healing and deliverance praying in the name of "Jesus." "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit--fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name." John 15:16 These scriptures are very powerful when you read them by themselves.

I encourage you to do your homework and read all the additional scriptures that I have listed. The secret to having prayers answered is remaining "in Christ." The closer you and I live loving and serving our Lord and Savior through prayer, studying scriptures, and worshiping Him, the more our prayers will be in alignment with His person, His character, His will, His nature and according to the powerful words of the Jesus Christ. Then our prayers will be more effective when we pray because we are being sensitive to the Holy Spirit and wanting to serve and pray for others as the Lord taught His disciples.

Today as we go and worship the Lord may you pray two scriptures with your husband or wife's name in them. I pray that you have already started praying your spouse's name in scripture. There is such power in praying God's Word with your husband, wife or child's name in them. Remember that God's Word will not return void. (Isaiah 55:11) May you pray for your beloved spouse and lift up all prodigals, as we all pray in agreement and in unity in the mighty Name of Jesus.

"I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.'" Acts 26:17-18 "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call." Acts 2:38-39 Let me share how one day when Peter and John were going into the temple at the time of prayer how they shared the power of their Lord Jesus. You and I must be willing to be used every day sharing the love and power of our Lord Jesus Christ and proclaiming that God can heal and resurrect hurting and dead marriages.

"One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer—at three in the afternoon. Now a man crippled from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts. When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money.

Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, "Look at us!" So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them. Then Peter said, "Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you.

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk." Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man's feet and ankles became strong. He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God. When all the people saw him walking and praising God, they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him." Acts 3:1-10 Then Peter continues to speak to all the people who saw the beggar jumping up and down, praising God.

"You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this. By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus' name and the faith that comes through him that has given this complete healing to him, as you can all see." Acts 3:15-16 Are you trusting in your Lord? Jesus Christ has all your answers, if you call on the Name of Jesus. Today, examine your heart. Whom are you trusting in each day, yourself or in Jesus Christ? When Jesus walked on this earth, He did many miracles, raised people from the dead, healed the sick, lame, the blind, and He delivered people from demons.

You and I must never forget that your spouse needs to be delivered or set free from the sins that they have been involved in. Your Lord Jesus Christ is able to set free anyone from the addiction of pornography, sexual immorality, alcohol, drugs or gambling, hardness of heart, or unforgiveness. Nothing is too hard for your Lord Jesus.

When you write and tell us of your circumstances, I want to cry out to you and say, "Call on the Name of Jesus. He is the only One that can change your life. He is the only One who can set your spouse free." If Jesus does not do it the day that you want, then remember the story of Mary and Martha who had to wait for the best friend, Jesus to heal Lazarus who was very sick, but Jesus was late and Lazarus died, but JESUS, raised him from the dead. Your Lord Jesus Christ will raise and heal your dead marriage from the dead, IF you keep calling on the Name of Jesus walking in faith and victory. Never give up on your Lord Jesus Christ. What is a better alternative? Whom are you going to serve?

There is victory in the Name of Jesus and Satan will have to flee! May I share the lyrics of the chorus,"In The Name Of Jesus:" In the name of Jesus, In the name of Jesus, We have the victory; In the name of Jesus, In the name of Jesus, Satan will have to flee; Tell me who will stand before us, When we call on that great name. Jesus, Jesus; Precious Jesus; We have the victory!(Author Unknown - Used by Permission CCLI #1273562) What powerful words for you and me to learn to sing. We need to call on that great Name to save us from all the enemies' darts. Satan is defeated and is trying to give us fear and anxiety due to many of our circumstances, but our Lord Jesus is greater than any other problem. Turn to your Lord Jesus and trust in His mighty power. Never forget that Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord came down to earth to shed His Blood for all sinners! Remember, every knee will bow down to Jesus. Now start calling on the powerful Name of Jesus!

"Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:9-11

    Homework:Look up additional scriptures: Matthew 1:21; Mark 9:38-40; John 20:30-31; Acts 4:15-22; Acts 5:17-41; Acts 15:25-27; Acts 16:16-34; Acts 21:12-14; I Corinthians 1:1-3,10; I Corinthians 6:9- 11; Colossians 3:16-18; 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12; 2 Thessalonians 3:5-7; I John 3:21-24.

    god bless

    My dear and loving son
Yes indeed having those sweet little darling in your arms makes you forget all the long hard 9 months that you waited or sometimes in the case of a barren womb, years waited to hold that sweet angel in your arms and you, as a mom, can never ever forget her child, no matter by which way you receive them, they are always in your prayers, in your thoughts, in your heart and mind!

But I wont complain for God took me through this so I wont say a word! Exxcept all the things in my life I am with out a car and have to look to other people to take me from on point to another, I have to ask people to take me to church, school, work etc!!!! And this is not nice but maybe God is teaching me something!!
Ah but enough of me, myself and I (lol)
How are my son doing? How is everything at work? And the family? Is Mary still enjoy the teaching? And I sweet little ones? How i Grace and Sydney doing at school? And little Mystery still full of mischief? And darling Faith, probably growing rapidly? How is the congregation doing and our new believers in prison, was there new ones recently? After the crusade did you have more people attending church?
We still have so much unfinished conversations and things to share and I really do miss our chats sooooooooo much but life has take another turn on me and although im not always happy about all the changes, i have to be thankful, for through this job i can provide a little.

    Good Morning My Brother,
I never miss any of your post and appreciate the time you put into it..
I trust that you and your family are blessed and well.
Here in S. Africa, prayer for the country is the main topic and requirement.
Where has one ever heard of a country's Constitution being challenged and declared wrong, by the very people who created the constitution. Why would anyone want to do this? Well it's simple in that they are have become the victims of their own laws. "So if the Constitution says: "Thou shalt not"...... and we have in fact fallen guilty of this. Well before we go to jail, let's change the constitution."
Never the less life goes on and the easiest is to simply look up and stay focused.
Bless you and your loved ones.
Your Brother in Christ - Ron

    Greetings in jesus name pastor

A married lady was expecting a birthday gift from her husband.
For many months she had admired a beautiful diamond ring in a showroom,
and knowing her husband could afford it, she told him that was all she
    wanted.
As her birthday approached, this lady awaited signs that her husband
    had purchased the diamond ring.
Finally, on the morning of her birthday, her husband called her into his study.
Her husband told her how proud he was to have such a good wife, and told her how much he loved her.
He handed her a beautiful wrapped gift box.
Curious, the wife opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible,
with the wife's name embossed in gold.
Angrily, she raised her voice to her husband and said, 'With all your
money you give me a Bible?' And stormed out of the house, leaving her
    husband.
Many years passed and the lady was very successful in business. She
managed to settle for a more beautiful house and a wonderful family,
but realized her ex-husband was very old, and thought perhaps she
should go to visit him. She had not seen him for many years.
But before she could make arrangements, she received a telegram
telling her that her ex-husband had passed away, and willed
all of his possessions to her. She needed to come back immediately
    and take care of things.
When she arrived at her ex-husband's house, sudden sadness and
regret filled her heart. She began to search through her ex-husband's
important papers and saw the still new Bible, just as she had left it
    years before.
With tears, she opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. Her
ex-husband had carefully underlined a verse, Matt 7:11,
'And if you, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children,
how much more shall your Heavenly Father, who is in heaven,
give what is good to those who ask Him?'
As she read those words, a tiny package dropped from the back of
the Bible. It had a diamond ring, with her name engraved on it --
the same diamond ring which she saw at the showroom.
On the tag was the date of her birth, and the words.'LUV U ALWAYS'.
How many times do we miss God's blessings, because they are not
packaged as we expected? I trust you enjoyed this.
Do not spoil what you have, by desiring what you have not; but remember
that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for.
IF YOUR GIFT IS NOT PACKAGED THE WAY YOU WANT IT,
IT'S BECAUSE IT IS BETTER PACKAGED THE WAY IT IS.
    ALWAYS APPRECIATE LITTLE THINGS;
THEY USUALLY LEAD YOU TO BIGGER & BETTER THINGS.

'The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched.
They must be felt with the heart.'

    HAVE A GREAT DAY

    god bless
