Thank you, Paige. I have been absent lately. Most of my time has been spent at the hospital with my son. He's been in for over two weeks. Praise God, he is doing better, and his doctors are preparing him to go home. He will go with home healthcare for at least a couple of months. He was very sick with blood clots and an aggressive infection in his right leg. The infection invaded his bloodstream, and his leg was in danger. Many people have prayed, and God has heard and answered. My son is saved, and I pray that he will grow through this experience. Thanks again, Paige. I'm back!

Thank youf or thinking about me, I am well, my kids are great, they are writing exames at the moment so they are really busy. I started a new position in my company and am extremely busy lately. My maid has gone home this week because of the violence here in SA and I am not sure when she will be coming home, so I am having to do all the house work after work as well. Luckily my kids help, my daughter makes us supper at night, she loves kooking, while I do wshing and clean.
I am glad you love your new church, I am also looking for a new church, we are going to visit my sons best freinds dad's church, this weekend. It sounds like you love kids, i do too they are awesome,

You are so blessed that you can draw, I myself cant and dont even try. I have these two picture frames that one of my collegues gave me, I used to give here all my daughters clothes that did not fit or she does not wear anymore, for her daughter, my collegues dad is a carpenture and he made these frames as a gift, I want to have pictures drawn of my kids to put in the frames, perhaps I should ask you do this, you draw very well.

been busy getting ready for a cumminity yard sale and I have friends
coming to visit. This couple lives for Our Lord, they sold everything,
their home in Bend, OR. and their business and are building a school and helping a cumminity in Kenya, Africa. They are traveling in the U S,
visiting and speaking at different churches accepting donations for
this school building and recruting teams to go to Kenya with them.
They are going to stay with us and speak at our church and hopefully
another church or two in our little town. My husband and I are so looking forward to their visit. They are so inspiring and so in love with Christ.
I now have DSL and can see the videos and hear the music online, what a treat. I noticed all of your beautiful art and I must say, God
certainly blessed you with you talent. I have done some oil paintings
in my past and I enjoyed every minute of it. Now it has been years
and I am not sure I can still do it, I also don't have a very good

I have not been on here in a very long time!! Thanks for thinking of me and leaving encouraging notes. I have been so busy with school. Next Friday is their last day (My 41st B-day!!) I am doing summer school in June and taking two classes in July. So I will have about 2 weeks off this summer! I am getting my oldest ready to apply to colleges as he graduates next year ( I can not believe it!) I am not ready for him to leave yet :(
This was an amazing year at school. Also a very amazing year of growth in the Lord for me.

It's a pleasure to hear from you. Sometimes I take a break from the computer, because I use a handheld computer during the day in my work as well as work from home on my computer. So, if i don't answer in a few days some sometimes, its because I'm meeting deadlines.

Forest Primitive Baptist Church is 135 years in exsistance in August of this year. We practice 1st century kind of worship service. The articles of faith are the same as most bible believing Baptist Churches in the Southern Baptist Conference . We do not use any musical instruments during the actual worship service. However, we do use them at weddings, fellowship socials, etc. We sing a lot, also; shape note singing. Thats a old school style singing which allows for lay persons to write hymnals and the congregation can sing without music by reading the notes. It really is lovely. Its a form of worship through singing. Then; Our Pastor teaches from the word of God in the Holy Bible plus all the traditional features in Christrian Worpship Service. After the call to join the church and the benediction, sometimes we enter into confrence for church business or discipline. We have a very spiritual worship service. Most of the time we have lunch after church service. Go to www.pbc.org.

I love dancing, waving high holly hands and offering sacraficies of praises "blessing God's name." Sometimes I do it at home...laugh!
When I was married, I belonged to the AME Methodist Church. They performed gospel music and that really is happy, joyful music and it will electricfy your spirit when its song for the glory of God.

I'm very excited about being friends with you my sister. It's a great joy and blessing for me. Sorry I've been so long winded, but I couldn't explan it briefly.

Introduction

Perhaps you are faced with a disease or terminal illness and you are looking for healing prayers. You desire to cry out to God for healing! It is usually our hopelessness that compels us to seek a supernatural source to alleviate our serious illness or disease. For most, it is a pattern of self-sufficiency, medical technology, and ultimately a cry for God to heal us miraculously.

The Glory of GOD is a prayer group working for God’s people from October 2006, started with the small group of people from our home’s drawing room and now we have a large number of people in this prayer group more then 2 hundred regular members. We are charismatic by the grace of God and we conduct daily healing prayers from morning till evening with limited resources and sharing God’s blessing with others.


WHERE WE WORK

We work in the geographical area of Lahore Pakistan and situated in Kot Lakhpat Lahore. We have a small drawing room which we use for prayer meetings, bible study and some time for health related seminars with community and youth

The locality is not a rich and the Christians in Pakistan is a minority and get less chances to be a part of main stream of the country’s growth and economy.

OUR STRENGTH

We have a God gifted power to heal the people of God; we have a large group of believers, people from different parts of Lahore city and rural areas near to Lahore city. We are running the following through self help bases:

1. Healing Prayer Meetings (daily bases)
2. Bible study for Youth
a. Career Counseling
3. Health Care facilities
o Primary Health care (PHC) & Reproductive Health services
o HIV/AIDS Prevention through awareness &Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) for HIV, Hepatitis B and C
4. Volunteers



1) Healing Prayer Meetings

We are arranging daily prayer meetings from 11 am to 8 pm for individuals, families and group of people. We are serving God’s people and up-till now we serve hundred and thousands of people through our team members we have more then two hundred regular members who visited us on alternate time, but due to shortage of space we are unable to attend all the believers that hurts us a lot

2) Bible Study for youth

We have Volunteer trained Youth ministers who spare some time for the Bible study on weekly bases this is our new initiative and we recently started this activity and we are looking forward for more youth to join us in this activity. We rent place or request some community members for their place for bible study on weekly bases

Under this Bible study we have also the facility of Volunteer Psychologist who guides our youth in their Career planning

3) Health Care Facilities

i) Primary Health care & Reproductive Health services
We have a qualified lady doctor (Gynecologist) and paramedic staff that run our dispensary and generate some funds from that dispensary to share the cost of medicines. We charge very low fee from clients who can pay most of the people are not able to pay the fee

ii) HIV/AIDS awareness Program
We are affiliated with an organization named savoir-faire (non-profitable organization) working on HIV/AIDS, VCT Services. They are working with us as a sister organization; savoir-faire is a faith based organization and provides us following free of cost:
a) HIV/AIDS, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), Hepatitis B and C, Sexually and Reproductive health Awareness
b) Capacity building of our volunteers and staff
c) Voluntary Counseling and testing for HIV, syphilis, Hepatitis B and C

4) Volunteers

We have a small group of 10 professionals and motivated God’s soldiers, who believe in Jesus and his glory






What we need?

From October 2006 we are running all the expenses though community contribution and self help bases and at the beginning the number of people who came for prayers are very less, but now the situation is different due to increase in number of members of Glory of GOD’s group we need more space for the prayer meeting (through this building we plan to run office, Prayer Centre, Bible study centre and PHC clinic), utility bills and administration cost to run the office of the Glory of GOD

I also make animals out of clay, something I've done since age 2 with plasticene, going ceramic in my teens...I sell them at local art shows (and have done so at dog shows) - getting prizes sometimes. I love to make everything from A-Z. But with my work schedule, i just haven't had the time, especially since I've used the past 2 and now this summer for mission trips - but that's okay! I love how the Lord is restoring the arts to the church as a form of worship. Last year I began to bring it with me to Peru and probably will be watering that seed when I return.
I just finished downloading some pix of my drawings and favorite pix from mission trips.

hey paige, i wish i could come get you sister, we would set up easels in my garden and play in some paint. i love art!!! I love to draw, paint, write stories and poetry. we could have some fun!!! Have you ever painted on hardy board? i am jonesing to try this new canvas. hardy board is used under floor tile for a durable surface but they say it is great for painting, stands up to the elements for outdoor decor.

to answer your questions about our wked - YES we did some riding. we went on a 150mi. poker run to raise money for a well known harley shop owner in our area that has suffered some health issues the past few mos. that has put him out of wrk. and on his back. then yesterday we rode in the memorial ride to honor the vets. there were probably close to 300 bikes in that run. this is like the 5th yr. we've rode in this run and this was by far the best yet. wish you could have been there.

Hi Paige! well i just got home from Youth camp. I attended the seminar workshop for those person who wants to facilitate Youth Encounter module. WEll, thanks for thinkin of me. hehehe. thanks for showing you've cared. Im going to different places to observe how the facilitators of Yuoth Encounter worked and how good they deliver the module. I was really inspired to be a facilitator for the youths so that they can know themselves more and know Whe Jesus really is. Im not afraid to share my experiences to them, my ups and downs, if that's what it take in order for them to know Christ. Please pray for me and my good intentions. Dear Paige, glad to hear you had a great weekend. Mine was full of allot of kids. We went to a soccer tournament for youngest daughter. We had four of the girls staying with me in a hotel room. It cost me a fortune to feed them and keep them hydrated. It was in the 90"s. The girls where sweating really bad. At least they could jump in the pool after the games at the hotel, but I am still exhausted from having all those girls for two nights, and running liike crazy. Our team came in 2nd place. So that was good. Well I am on lunch break so I will have to get back with you. Love you sister in Christ
