The experience is designed for people to "create whatever they want for themselves and their lives". I read in the prayer net one of your prayers. Paige I will tell you that this is the seminar I participated in I tell about in my profile. The experience allowed me to be even more open to our Lord Jesus Christ. Dear Paige; I am sorry i haven't been on much. I have a friend in the hospital. She had her baby on Sat. Then Sunday evening she had a seizure and ended up on life-support. I have been going from my hospital after work to the hospital she is in and helping her and her husband to understand what is going on and what the docs tell them. I am still thinking about you. Blesses be your day too. Certainly you are a fantastic mom, otherwise you wouldn't be so worried about it. Regarding the anger management, remember that we are only humans and sometimes we don't know how to control ourselves. What is exactly trigging your anger? Is there a specific thing that makes you feel that way ?
Kids always know how to fool us around, it's just a game of streght, they pull some strings to see what comes out of it...if nothing comes they will pull some more until getting what they want. Correct me if I'm wrong but your boy is only 3 right? If he is not liking church anymore, perhaps it has nothing to do with him but with the church motivating kids to like it. Try not putting all the blame on him, my kids were also having a hard time to go tu church (it was too early or too late, something good was on TV, they were tyred... you name it).

Now they have found some activities that please them and motivate them. Ask at your church what activities they do on a regular Sunday school's class, maybe you will find some answers. It is neves too late to turn to God, and specially children are welcome in God's kingdom... always; just relax and see how GOD works.

Have you tried having a calendar where you stick a star everytime he does a nice thing and a sad face when he is not so nice? - or a sun and a cloud, etc - At their age visual actions work better that a spank or a shout. Maybe after 5 stars on a row he gets a small incentive ( like a chocolate), but never give a chocolate for anyother reason... it's just ideas that have worked before with many people.

Sit him down and with a very calm voice explain that mommy is sad because he is not behaving properly and, even if you don't like it , he will have no TV (as an example) for a day. Remember to say sorry when you do something wrong too, like if you lose your temper and scream. For me it always worked saying 'I am sorry I shouted at you, it was wrong but when you do xxxx mommy gets very sad and frustrated', it helped me hear why I was getting angry and realize that it was not that bad after all.

Look at yourself on a mirrow and see what we all see: a sweet and caring woman trying to be and give the best she can. When you get into an anger scheme do something to break the pattern : breath deeply or go and have a glass of water before reacting, whatever you believe will help you take a minute or two to re-think.

I hope this can give you some help. I love you lots, and God loves you even if you are angry, just learn when to recognise the pattern that makes you feel angry and practice on breaking it !!!

I have had a couple of rough days. Monday I pushed myself too hard doing errands and things and now I am suffering again. I didn't sleep very well Monday night and I got no sleep last night. I am exhausted and having alot of anxiety episodes. I did mention that I have trouble with insomnia because of my panic disorder didn't I? Please pray for me to get some sort of release and sleep. My father is going to stop by later and pray with me. We try to pray every morning over the phone. He is so worried about me and my health and so am I. He is a retired pastor of the Church at Fairmont. I looked up that book Breaking Free and the workbook for it. I would like to maybe buy them but money is very tight right now for me since I lost my job last November and my health is still on the mend. I appreciate all of your prayers.

Wow, you have an amazing story. I am so glad that our hearts were open to the Lord at just the right time. God really is in control, and knows what to do to call us in.
So you have an 8 mo. old, is she your only child. I am a mother a six, newly divorced and now a single mother. The lord has been propelling me forward, never to look back, that's what He said, that's what I'll do. Needless to say there has been many challenges I've face this past year but the song of my heart is, 'you are amazing God'.

When I read your comment back tome response I just started to cry (again). I've been crying alot the last couple of days. Anyways, your words encouraged me once again that I am not going through this alone. There are other peole like you and me that are having hard times with their lives with health and mental health issues. You are right in saying that GOD is right there next to us and wants to comfort us but we are stubborn and want to hold on to all this "Stuff" that burdens us and weighs us down arent't we? My father did stop by just a bit ago and we spent a little time together and prayed together. He feels that the Lord is just tugging at my heart and wants me to just give more of me to HIM and that is why Ihave been going through this season (This very long season it seems). I worry about so many things my sister Paige. I worry about my 16 year old son AJ. He is struggling with school. I worry about my 14 year old daughter. She is wanting to grow up too fast and way too interested in boys for my liking. But praise GOD that they are both saved and walking with the Lord. I think they do better than me sometimes. I worry especially about myself and my fiancee Bernard. We will have been together 4 years this July 15th. And we still are not married. We live together and know that this is not right in the eyes of GOD but foer financial reasons he had to move in with me. He is a newly saved christian. (He got saved at my father's church when he was pastoring at CHurch at Fairmontwell over a year ago and was raised somewhat catholic. We started pre-marital counseling but halfway through it the pastor said we both needed to work more on ourselves and our own issues before he would further or counseling. So that is sort of disheartening. Bernard and I have had a very up and down relationship and my health and mental healthissues certainly have not helped in our moving forward in a positive manner. I pray for you Paige and thank you for praying for me and lifting me up as you do. Thank you again so much.

My kids are well unfortunately they are not allowed to drive until 18 years here in SA but the can ride motor bikes at 16, my son is bugging us but we said no it is to dangerous, he accepts that but we will see what happens, you know as parents we want to hold on to themas long as we can, but we must also trust that we did our best God will do the rest.

I must be honest I have not been well the last two weeks I dont know what it is but this aweful depression it comes then it goes,
I have given it to Jesus but it is like this battle going on. Perhaps you can just say a prayer for me.

How are you, I just wanted to let you know God is so awesome, I have been feeling down but he gently lifts my spirit he gave me the word meek - I looked up all the words relating to meek - Humble, Timid, Submissive, Gentle, Assertive and Unassuming. I thought this was so awesome, one word describes our personalities as Christians in so many ways, after I received this word I realized Jesus wants us to be humble but also assertive and unassuning to what his can do in our lives we need to take our place with Jesus against Satan with these depression attackes, I decided today that I am going to stand and be meek in so many ways.
