I love to excersize and enjoy the outdoors. I love to socialize and
fellowship with my christian friends. But most of all, I am an artist. I have been blessed with oppurtunities to paint murals in alot of churches and in homes. I also do custom art and design. God gave me a gift and he gives me the work.I also love music and dance.
I'm passionate about...
Im passionate about art and painting. I currently am painting murals in alot of churches. I want to produce more religious art and seel them to the public. I love drawing and God has blessed me. I hope that my art will bless and encourage others in thier faith. I also am compassionate towards young womedn and would really want to help them with eating disorders. I had that and want to help those who struggle with it. I am there for those who have it. I want to help.
Other stuff about me:
I love to pray for others and get prayer. I love to write letters and encourage others. I am married and have 2 small children. We have a nice home in a quiet heighborhood. I love my klids and love to paint childrens murals. I hope to homeschool or put my kids in private school.
Paige, you are a gifted artist and a very compassionate person. I just read your prayer request and I will keep you in my heart and prayers. Because I am well acquainted with states of emotional discomfort, when I find something in my bible that speaks to me about this, it gets highlighted. Last night I found these two and hope they are a balm for you. They are both from 2 Corithians: "Therefore we do not lose heart even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day." and "Our hope for you is steadfast, because we know that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also you will partake of the consolation."
hello Paige , i am so glad to have someone like you online . i admire your hand work , i want to say that they are wonderful i wish you teach me how you paint . i love worships songs , i also love preaching the gospel of Jesus. my desire is to travel to foreign countries and fellowship with other Christians.
Hi Paige, Just wanted to thank you for being a friend to me. I am honored that you want to be my friend. I love this website, I am so glad that someone created it. I believe this website is something that the Lord wanted done and His Servant or Servants listened and obeyed the Lord in creating this site. Well I just want to wish you a Very Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year!
God Bless You Paige and Your Family!
Love In Christ, Your Sister, Yvonne
Hi Paige! When I typed "homeschool" into the member search box, your name came up. I'm glad to see you are already considering carefully what to do for your children's education. I've been homeschooling for 3 years and would be glad to answer any questions or help you find information that you need.
Hello, Paige! I did the same thing Kelly did, lol! Its nice to meet you! And, yeah, Kelly is a genius and can answer any questions you may have! You should definitely check out her website, http://kellylee.info.
Aw, honey, its nothing to be afraid of! And in my opionion, NOBODY is woman enough to do the job, we all get our strenght from God alone. He WILL give you the strength and wisdom you need. Have you thought about joining the homeschool group that Kelly started here?
Hi Paige - I can't get to your message and wanted to let you know I am not ignoring you. I have submitted an issue ticket and expect they'll get to me as soon as possible considering the holidays!

Yeah I enjoy my job. I have bigger plans... We have an educational program where you must keep at least a "C" avg. and upon earning your degree, you have to stay with the company 5 years and a big portion of the fees are paid, I am either thinking of CAD or Auto Engineering. So those are my hopes as of now... lol. I just gotta make sure I have the brains God gave a goose first! LOL!!!!
Hey, great to hear from you.. I will try and choose the animated files i can put on here and let people see it.. its an exciting line of work.. Right now my studio is doing a project on African Folklore and we have a central figure in Afircan folklore as the tortoise so we are making an entire season of this. We dnt have all the funds we amy need to do this but we are convinced that this is the time to move this ahead.. Please pray that God will make a way as well as increase our level of creativity..
I really feel like we could be great friends here. I long to share from the experience of all Christians everywhere...
Take care,
chima
Hey, it sure is and i unfortunately have to sit my butt down and do a lot of work most of then time. I do meet a lot of people though. I will like to tell you some things and see if you will help in our project specially in the area of developing concept art for our characters.. that is if your illustrations are African. You did say you love to play the African drum. No i did not do the illustration on my page. I am not much into that.
About music, i do write songs and sing too..I was also in the worship team at my church although i do not much do that now. I am the 3rd of five boys born to my mum and my parents are music lovers so as we grew up they taught us to sing and appreciate music.. we had a family singing group and i play the drums a bit.. Nothing professional.. lol. Hey thanks for sharing..It is great to have God steer you in the direction he wants for you to go and to feel that He is in control of your affairs. that is cool... Till later my good friend, be well..

Hello my friend...Your letter sent chills down my right leg...that happens to me when God is telling me something that He really wants me yo pay attenton to !!! You my dear are an angel sent here for me !!! I have come to a point in my life where I am going all out. I am transparent today. I have been in recovery for five years and until I walked away from what "THEY" told me about God (I was raised Catholic and in recovery you musn't talk about God because it is not politically correct) Today, I am a child of The King where before, like you I starved for love and tried to kill myself with crack cocaine...God had other plans for me. Not exactly sure what they are yet but one day, minute or second at a time He will reveal to me exactly what His plan is. I have been divorced longer than you have been married. Hope you are happy !!! I have a 21 year son, Justin who is in drug rehab at the Salvation Army in South Bend Indiana (Please pray HE allows God into His heart), I have an 18 year old daughter Ashley who is very lost in boys and friends right now. I have guardianship of her 15 month old daughter Amya (my new addiction !!) Please pray Ashley realizes how wonderful a gift God gave her and for her to come home and go to college and make a life for her and her daughter. I also have a 15 year old daughter Sara who lives with her dad in South Bend. She is just 15 !!! Not else much to say about that. She is the one in the profile photo with me and Amya. Your artwork is absolutely breathtaking. I used to draw whenI was younger. Haven't for a looooooooooong time. My cousin Paula who just joined this site today is moving back to Indiana from Salt Lake City this month. I have never been to Utah. Lived in Arizona for three years though, Ashley was born there. I love the West kicking myself for ever coming back here. I was born and raised in Chicago. My dad died four years ago (December 16 th) I have one brother who is a jet pilot in the Marine Corp and for Federal Express. We have no contact. It sadenss me greatly but I am ok with it...mostly. Antways, maybe someday I will get to Utah now that I have a sister there.
I love you already ( you have already touched my heart deeply)
Thank you
Rori
hey, i must say first off that am sorry i have not actually seen your messages to me.. I only was able to view it temporarily before my power went out yesterday.. (dnt even ask i will tell you all abt it one day). Well the reason is because sometimes when i get on this site some of the buttons dnt work so i cnt add friends nor read my messages. other times like last nite it behaves well.. but i must wait to reply you using the same medium you used to send em.. For now hey take care and talk to you later..
cheers

Hello!,
Thank you for writing to me, I am glad that i found this site, it is awesome!
I still go to Calvary Chapel when I can, I love that church, I love to praise the Lord and sing along with other Christians. I have finally found a place to actually fit in where I am not judged all the time and ALONE!
That is how it was when I was in the occult, but since I have Jesus now and so many Brothers and Sisters in Jesus I feel over whelmed with love. It is so nice to be able to come on a wonderful site like this and talk about your feelings and grow and learn in the Lord Jesus!
I read that the Lord has brought you out of many things in your life and I wanted to say praise God and that I am very happy for you. God is so mighty in ALL HIS WAYS!!!!
Coming to know Jesus on June 22, 2003 was so amazing I can remember feeling so whole and clean on the inside and I could not stop smiling. God has shown me truth as he has done with you. The blood of Jesus washes our sins away!
I hope we can chat more, love to get to know you more in Jesus!
God bless.
Sister Janet
Hey girlfriend where are you ? Have a wonderful day. My heart and mind were full of prayer for you yesterday. I will share it with yiu later in e-mail. Love ya, HAVE A GREAT DAY!!! hope all is well
Thank you for your kind words Paige, but I'm not deserving of that comparison.
I don't really know too much about Christian Science (had some neighbors and friends that followed that thinking - the idea being that you don't need drugs, surgery, or other man-made inventions to cure any condition, rather you should seek only the prayer and intervention of God to address such matters. I don't know if I've represented that perspective correctly, but that is how I've understood the approach from observing others.
With respect to Scientology, my personal opinion is that this group is a pretty clear example of "cult" following the "teachings" of L. Ron Hubbard (the science fiction author). The story here is almost too bizarre for words and yet in words, it should have been left to the category of fiction from which it was born.
As to my approach, I will admit that studying the word of God is the most exciting thing I do these days and I don't approach it from an academic framework (that did not make the scripture come alive). I've come to understand that we can become intoxicated with what we imagine to be human knowledge. When all the evidence is there to show a Creator, we in our arrogance, choose to believe otherwise. I was this person not that long ago. I was struggling to have "safe" conversations with scientists and engineers about topics such as evolution of species. I took on face value (as many supposedly smart people do) that there is clear undeniable factual evidence that the earth is billions of years old, that carbon dating of material is without error, and that the universe started billions of years ago as a singularity in space. I also incorporated the hundreds of thousands of years separation between different species like the dinosaurs. I attempted to reconcile all of that with the more near-term viewpoint around creation. I believed that something must be "wrong" with the creation view because clearly the earth is older than 7000 years. That is what our fancy scientific instruments tell us! Well, that is a perspective born of arrogance. I call your attention to the passage in Romans 1:20 (and many other locations of scripture):
For since the creation of the world his invisible attributes—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, because they are understood through what has been made. So people are without excuse.
I prayed for understanding and reading scripture provided sufficient perspective on the things that were really important. I believe that it is a horrible waste of energy to get into arguments with anyone over the science of evolution. God has been pretty clear on this point. Another passage in scripture that brings the arrogance point home is this passage in scripture:
Isaiah 47:10 - You felt secure in all your wickedness. ‘No one sees me,’ you said. Your ‘wisdom’ and ‘knowledge’ have caused you to turn away from me and claim, ‘I am self–sufficient and not accountable to anyone!
So part of this "get smart" on human worldly terms where I can apply my scientific method, use my fancy technology, and get a collection of others that agree with me that all have their PhD's to prove to you that they are in the elite group of "really smart people" is really a stubborn move away from the accountability that God holds us to if we truly seek him.
I was at a faculty party last night. Surrounded by many exceptionally smart professors of science. As I stood there listening to their dialog, the conversation drifted to politics. A dangerous subject, but in the hands of scholars, the dialog does not typically result in fights. As they were talking, the subject of evolution was being used as a "yardstick" to measure the intelligence and ability of the proposed candidates. One presidential candidate that has professed not to believe in the theory of evolution was ruled out as an option by the collective faculty. I felt so sad in observing that conversation, but also recognized that I too was drawn into similar discourse not that long ago.
One of the best dialog comparisons I can reference to you where science and Christianity can live in harmony is offered by Francis Collins in his book titled "The Language of God". Here is the URL to a snip from the book: http://books.google.com/books?id=JcMCmBnpHGsC&dq=Francis+S+Collins&hl=en&prev=http://www.google.com/search?q=francis+collins&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&sa=X&oi=print&ct=result&cd=1&cad=author-navigational
There is a great "debate" between the leading athiest (Richard Dawkins) and Francis Collins that is located on the TIME website: http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1555132,00.html
You will find this a most revealing exchange between these two individuals. Take a look at these references and let me know what you think. I've got lots of "books" that I've read that help the "scientist" to understand the truth. The best book of course is the Bible. These other "books" are authored by scientists so they can be used to establish a sort of credibility to the topic by a collection of peers. Of course God is fully responsible for a conversion of a person. We just plant the seeds. These books and other references are just tiny seeds.
What a beautiful site, Paige! You have a wonderful talent - thank you for posting some of your work. Greg asked me "do you suppose she designed that coin?" I told him you must really like Utah if you didn't! :D
God's blessings on you and your little ones! Wendy
Oh honey I don't think God wants us to "shake stuff off" I tink He wants us to grow through things and like you said be closer and more dependent on Him. It rakes as long as it takes. If it was quick and easy everyone would be doing it. I began learning that lesson when I went into the treatment center almopst 6 years ago. I told them I needed to be on the fast track because I needed to get out and on with my life. I was totally serious too. I got really upset when they told me one did not exist. Today I thank God for loving me through HIS track. My life now has to be ONE SECOND AT A TIME. The one day at a time thing is even too much. I am enjoying every second to the best of my ability...not by any means perfect though mind you. Sometimes it is hard to practicce what I know to be right. I am that way as a nurse too. I know how to teach some one to be healthy and what to do and not do but do I????? No not hardly. lol The baby is doing ok. Getting better her fever was less than 100 today and she is with her mom for a few days. That is a really good thing. Not the environment I would choose for her but she is her mom and I will not try to get in the middle of that but after a few days everyone is ready to get thing back to "NORMAL" HA HA HA. How are your babies? I was looking through your pictures, You and your children are just beautiful.. When you feel like it and have some time e-mail me about yourself...childhood, siblings etc... Whaterver you choose to share. I would love to hear your story. Good night Paige....All is well sweetie you have GOD and He is crazy about you !!!!!! Sweet Dreams, more later.
You are so gifted Paige. I pray that God will swing open the doors of opportunity for you, so that your life will be rich and full in Him. And that in all of this He will be glorified. God Bless! carla
I appreciate your art. I did show your art to my daughter who is a senior and going to college as an art major. She does a lot of pencil drawings and the drawing of the girl above reminds me of some work my daughter has done off some photos. Thank you for sharing your art with us!
...and forgot to mention that the family is headed to Utah for snow skiing over the weekend. It's been dumping lots of rain out here in LA. I know you folks have that fluffy white power now and we are REALLY looking forward to it! :-)
Paige, Thanks for the "dressing tip". We have packed a bit warmer for this year's adventure. We will be back there in another couple of weeks. I'll need to stock-up on Utah quarters when I'm out there.
Hi Sweetie! You are such a beautiful contribution to this site. How can we purchase some art?
I had the hardest time loading music onto my page. I think I actually fluked into getting it on.....I don't know if I remember how---Sounds silly! The basics..basically I downloaded it onto my computer first, saved it onto a file, and then uploaded it. I'm not much of a computer techie type person...but i think it was something like that! LOL! Stay strong in the Lord! He is our refuge and our strength.
Hey, thanks for your comment, I have been terribly busy myself and have only just come here today.. I have been running on our project since we are going on a timeline and added to that have done other things that pretty much have not yet worked out but will.
I like what you have done to your page here, I would love to take out time to work on my page except for the crazy ISP service we are getting here in Nigeria.. We are getting the service of a dial-up connection for the price of a broadband system. I know you are mortified at the very concept of that but I wont want to bore you with that either.. I too miss talking to you.. hope fully that would soon change as I would have more time to be here and visit with a lot more of my friends. For now take care and more grease and oil to your elbow.
cheers..
Hi Paige.
My favourite scripture verse is Psalm 46:10
BE still and know that I am God. Truly, that is good enough for me. I love knowing with all my heart, that above all other things, that is what matters most, so I TRY to do my best to centre my life around Jesus. Many times I fail, and God slowly draws me back. I try to read my bible every day, sometimes several times. When I don't have time, I will listen to it on CD. I have come extra bible CD's/DVD's. Can I send some to you?
Your love for Jesus is evident in your words, and your art.
I wish you a blessed day. carla
Are you familiar with Firefighters for Christ. I am sure there is a website you can check out. Anyway, when I bacame a Christian 1 1/2 years ago, I recieved them in the mail. I think I recieved 2 copies. I'd love to send them off to you. Blessings, carla

I too miss talking to you.. hope fully that would soon change as I would have more time to be here and visit with a lot more of my friends. For now take care and more grease and oil to your elbow.
cheers..

I wish you a blessed day. carla
