GOOD MORNING FAMILY, TO CONFIRM WHAT WE HAVE HERE AND I JUST LOVE BEING A PART OF IT, CHECK THIS OUT

    Today's Bible Verse:

    Ecclesiastes 4:9–12
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! ... And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken. (ESV)

Today's Inspiring Thought: A Threefold Cord

There's no such thing as a "Lone Ranger" Christian. We need fellow believers for accountability and strength. Too much independence from the body of Christ will get us into trouble.

If we try to "go it alone," who will be there to lift us up when we fall? The Lord gives us brothers and sisters in Christ, not only for serving together, for relationship and fellowship, but also to help us withstand attacks from the enemy and temptationsto sin. We are much stronger together with other believers than when we are alone.

By and through Faith in You Jesus, makes all the difference.  Faith in You Lord is a Gift.  A Gift that enables us to fulfill Your Will in our lives.  Not only in our life, but empowers us in the aid of others, according to Your Will.  As we yield our wills to Yours Dad, we discover Wisdom is built into our obedience to You.  Let it be that we have ears to hear and eyes to see, so that we are able to operate in that Wisdom.  As we are led by the Spirit, we continue to discover the sheer Beauty of Your Plans for our lives.  In Jesus Most Wonderful Name.  Thank You so very much Dad.

    Today's Bible Verse:

    Ecclesiastes 11:5
As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother's womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things. (NIV)

Today's Inspiring Thought: The Work of God

I love this verse because it's one of those plain and simple reminders that God is God, and we are not. I don't know about you, but I often need to be reminded of this.

We don't (and we cannot) always understand everything that God is doing, both in our own lives and in this world we live in. When horrible tragedies strike, such as hurricanes and earthquakes, we want to know why, and when a tragedy hits home, we ask, "Why Me?"

We'll never know the future, we oftentimes won't understand the past, and our present circumstances can be just as confounding. The one and only thing we can be certain of is this: we can trust our heavenly Father. God, the Maker of all things, is in control. This is the essense of faith.  AMEN

  • a servant (Chris)

Amen my Brother.  I am reminded of these verses, 18 But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. 19They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. 20For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God {Rom 1:18-20}  When we hear unbelievers speak so boldly that God does not exist!

I am so very Thankful that we serve The God.  That we have Faith in Jesus.  That we are filled with The Spirit.  We need no proof, yet He has made the beauty on this earth.  It is not proof for us, it is such a clear display that Our Father is The Artist of all time.  That we have put our Faith in Jesus, Who all things have been created  through Him.

Bless you Brother Alcedes it is so good to see you, I have missed you.  You are a Blessing and a important part of this group.  You have clearly humbled yourself before the Lord.

    Love ya Brother

    FOOD FOR THOUGHTS
    Today's Bible Verse:

    Matthew 5:14
"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden." (ESV)
Today's Inspiring Thought: A City on a Hill

As a believer, whether you like it or not, Jesus said you are the light of the world. Your life is a lighthouse set on a hill, and it cannot be hidden. People (both Christians and non-believers) are watching you, observing your life.
Paul said this similarly in 2 Corinthians 5:20: "We are therefore Christ's ambassadors ..." We are officially appointed representatives of Jesus Christ on this earth.

So, what kind of ambassador are you? GREAT QUESTION.may we continue through the Grace of our Heavenly Father continue to shine through his SON and the HOLY SPIRIT IN WHICH OUR HEAVENLY FATHER HAS INDWELL  US WITH .

  • a servant (Chris)

No matter what we face, what storms we may go through, Jesus is with us.  When He laid His Head down to rest after a long day of ministry, in that boat.  We can take His example and rest instead of, giving into the fear of a storm.  He tells us, "I will never leave or forsake you."  Knowing the Victory we share in Christ.  Knowing that, gives us Peace, the Peace that gives us rest no matter where we find ourselves.  A beautiful day or a terrible storm, we are able to rest and Know we are under the Protection of His Love.

  • Liz

    Amen and amen Chris

  • Lina

Thank you brothers for reminding us of the beauty of God's creation.  It is so obvious but we sometimes lose sight of it especially when trials and calamities come our way.  He is ever present and we need to acknowledge Him even in our trials.

    Blessings.

I would ask forgiveness to all for not being here more.   Many reasons why I have not been on much.  Only a few why I should not have been on.  His Will for us to encourage each other, has never slowed.  The enemy would give us more than enough, we have no need even for it's opinion.  I will Pray more on what The Spirit may want me to share, I ask all of you to do the same.  When and as we all work together for Him, we are where and as we should be for one another.  Let us pull together, and continue to grow into His Body.

For some they may wonder why we need to "Work our Faith out."  You see that Abraham's faith and what he did worked together. His faith was shown to be genuine by what he did. James 2:22 In the presence of our God and Father, we never forget that your faith is active, your love is working hard, and your confidence in our Lord Jesus Christ is enduring  1Thes 1:3 As we learn to exercise our Faith, we Never forget we must operate in Love.  We do Not "wish" about the Grace in Christ.  No, with Confidence in Jesus do we Trust.  Our Hope is Not a maybe.  We have been given Knowledge and Understanding, that our hope is not just hope.  We have a Confident Hope!  We exercise our Faith, a Faith based on Jesus.  As obedient Children of the Most High, we walk in Love; speak in Love; see and deal with others in Love.  For God Is Love!  We are in God, so let it be so that we built our Faith on the foundation of Jesus. We put forth to The Father our needs.  We are His so we Know He hears us. We Stand on our Faith based on Jesus.  And, we listen and obey to what The Spirit leads us into.  We Never forget Love.  Nor do we put our lamp under a basket; bury Gifts and things of Value.  For All of these things are from our Heavenly Father.  Let us exercise our Faith in Love.  Trust and obey as He leads us.   These are some of the reasons we are here.

God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable” (Romans 11:29, NIV)

No matter where you’ve been, no matter what you’ve done, realize today that your destiny supersedes your mistakes. When God designed the plan for your life, it wasn’t dependent on you being perfect, never making a mistake, or never taking a wrong turn. No, God knew we would all make mistakes. He knows how to get you back on track no matter where you are in life. Just like there are many routes on a map, God has a plan to help you reach your destination. He has detours, shortcuts and bypasses. He has already calculated the entire route for your life.

Today, if you’re feeling like you’ve blown it, if you feel like you are too old, too far gone or too off track, know that nothing you’ve done, no mistake that you’ve made — or ever will make — is a surprise to God. He’s already got it figured out. He’s arranged a comeback for every setback! He has grace for every weakness. He has mercy for every failure. Receive it today and move forward with boldness into the destiny He has for you!

Father, thank You for the gifts and talents You’ve given me. Thank You for keeping me on track and ordering my steps. I repent today for any disobedience that has caused me to get off course. Keep me close to You always as I set my love on You in Jesus’ name. Amen.

My Sister that verse has shown again and again in my life.  When I have fallen; slipped in my walk.  He has been there for me, Working through me for others or Showing Himself Powerful in my weakness.  As you have so Beautifully shared, let there be Comfort and Confidence  expressed in our actions. both for Him and others.  The enemy would tell us, "you have no right to do these things for God!"  It can only lie, it is the father of lies.

Let us focus on Jesus and the example He showed us how to Live for The Father.  To live n obedience, to live for Him as we sink our roots deeper and deeper in Love, in Wisdom, in Holiness.  As we desire perfection or in other words, maturity.  For as we mature in Love, we grow together as The Body of Christ.  Working together for the benefit of all, and for THE GLORY OF THE LORD!

TO CONFIRM YOUR WORDS MY BROTHER AND SISTER ,I WILL SHARE WHAT WAS SENT TO ME TODAY ,AND MAY WE ALL CONTINUE TO GIVE OUR HEAVENLY FATHER ALL THE GLORY IN ALL THAT WE DO

Subject: Confidence: Be Confident in God

    ------------
“I can do everything through him who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13 NIV)

The secret to living with confidence is to be confident in God’s unlimited compassion and power and to let go of confidence in ourselves.

When we think we have to do it on our own or when we think we are doing it on our own, we stand on an uncertain foundation li

ke the man who built his house upon the sand. No matter how confident we are in ourselves, eventually the rains will come, washing away our self-confidence.

But when we have God-confidence, we know deep down that we will always be able to “approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need” (Hebrews 4:16 NIV).be bless

14But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. 15But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no one. 16For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORDTHAT HE WILL INSTRUCT HIM? MATTHEW 13:24-30

    Tares among Wheat

24Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25“But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away. 26“But when the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the tares became evident also. 27“The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’28“And he said to them, ‘An enemy has done this!’ The slaves said to him, ‘Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?’ 29“But he said, ‘No; for while you are gathering up the tares, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30‘Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”

  • ALCEDES JONES

    MATTHEW 13 :36-43

    The Tares Explained

36Then He left the crowds and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.” 37And He said, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, 38and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one;39and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels. 40“So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. 41“The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness,42and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43“Then THE RIGHTEOUS WILL SHINE FORTH AS THE SUN in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

    Philippians 1 :3-11
    New American Standard Bible

3I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, 4always offering prayer with joy in my every prayer for you all, 5in view of your participation in the gospel from the first day until now. 6For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. 7For it is only right for me to feel this way about you all, because I have you in my heart, since both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers of grace with me. 8For God is my witness, how I long for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus.9And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, 10so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; 11having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

    Galatians 5:13-26

13For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 14For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.” 15But if you bite and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one another.

16But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. 17For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please. 18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law. 19Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, 21envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

25If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. 26Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another.

    LUKE 10:30-37

    The Good Samaritan

30Jesus replied and said, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among robbers, and they stripped him and beat him, and went away leaving him half dead. 31“And by chance a priest was going down on that road, and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32“Likewise a Levite also, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33“But a Samaritan, who was on a journey, came upon him; and when he saw him, he felt compassion, 34and came to him and bandaged up his wounds, pouring oil and wine on them; and he put him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35“On the next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper and said, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I return I will repay you.’36“Which of these three do you think proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell into the robbers’ hands?” 37And he said, “The one who showed mercy toward him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do the same.”

    LUKE 10:17-29

17The seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” 18And He said to them, “I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning. 19“Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. 20“Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.”

21At that very time He rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit, and said, “I praise You, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, for this way was well-pleasing in Your sight. 22“All things have been handed over to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.

23Turning to the disciples, He said privately, “Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see, 24for I say to you, that many prophets and kings wished to see the things which you see, and did not see them, and to hear the things which you hear, and did not hear them.

25And a lawyer stood up and put Him to the test, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” 26And He said to him, “What is written in the Law? How does it read to you?” 27And he answered, “YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOURGOD WITH ALL YOUR HEARTAND WITH ALL YOUR SOULAND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTHAND WITH ALL YOUR MINDAND YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.” 28And He said to him, “You have answered correctly; DO THIS AND YOU WILL LIVE.” 29But wishing to justify himself, he said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”

Yes, Amen and Amen Christine.  May His Glory shine through us.  May we learn to grow in Him.  May we learn, to Trust only in Who He is inside of us.  Putting all else aside, and holding onto the Hope that is Jesus.  We began when we were Born Again, we continue in His Love by our humility.  We must hold onto the Knowledge, that is Christ Jesus.

Step by step we come to The Lord.  He knows our weakness, He knows how frail we can be and are at times.  Yet, as we continue to come to Him, we are Strengthened by and through His Grace.  Paul tells us about a race, but we are not competing against one another.  We compete against our flesh.  The more we die to our flesh, the lighter we are and the Stronger we become in Him.  Let not your hearts be discouraged.  For He has not nor will He ever leave or forsake us.  Hope and Faith in Him will build us up, and give us the Strength we need to face what is ahead of us.  Remember, we may not know what is around the corner, He Does however.  And, and as we yield to Him, He gives us what we need.  Lord Bless you all.

Many of you will read some of this twice.  I shared this in "Walking in The Spirit."  Some of you know me better than others.  When I go through things that are past my "pay grade," for the most part I separate myself.  This is part of who I am.  I am always so very Blessed to see, few do this.  For it is better to go through things with others, than by yourself.  I do not know if one day, The Lord shows me I need to change this, if so with His Grace and Strength I trust I will.  I want to thank you all for your Prayers.  For your kind thoughts.  I have gone through the fog and knee deep mud.  I am coming out, to His Glory. And only with His Strength.  Lord willing I will share many of the things I have seen.  Again, THANK YOU ALL.

Both of these rooms are similar, yet not the same.  To make the decision to Work your Faith out, I believe is a bold one.  For in and of itself it shows a humble and open heart ready for change.  We openly say our Faith needs work.  And as a group we seek help, and desire to share help.  We know without question that "help" Must come from The Lord, from The Word.  This verse I shared in another place, I feel it also applies here.  For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the Glory of God. 2 Cor 1:20  I Pray we all grow to understand and flourish in the Fruit of this Word.

Psalm 119:49 Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
Whatever your especial need may be, you may readily find some promise in the Bible suited to it. Are you faint and feeble because your way is rough and you are weary? Here is the promise--"He giveth power to the faint." When you read such a promise, take it back to the great Promiser, and ask him to fulfil his own word. Are you seeking after Christ, and thirsting for closer communion with him? This promise shines like a star upon you--"Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled." Take that promise to the throne continually; do not plead anything else, but go to God over and over again with this--"Lord, thou hast said it, do as thou hast said." Are you distressed because of sin, and burdened with the heavy load of your iniquities? Listen to these words--"I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions, and will no more remember thy sins." You have no merit of your own to plead why he should pardon you, but plead his written engagements and he will perform them. Are you afraid lest you should not be able to hold on to the end, lest, after having thought yourself a child of God, you should prove a castaway? If that is your state, take this word of grace to the throne and plead it: "The mountains may depart, and the hills may be removed, but the covenant of my love shall not depart from thee." If you have lost the sweet sense of the Saviour's presence, and are seeking him with a sorrowful heart, remember the promises: "Return unto me, and I will return unto you;" "For a small moment have I forsaken thee, but with great mercies will I gather thee." Banquet your faith upon God's own word, and whatever your fears or wants, repair to the Bank of Faith with your Father's note of hand, saying, "Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope." Father I place into Your hands the things I can do and the things I cannot do.

Help me to do the things I have to do.  I know I am safe in Your hands because Lord, I know I can trust You.

Guide me and guard my ways so that I may not faulter.  Keep me Lord from all wrongs and help me to always remember that You are always with me.

    Hey Tammy

What you posted about Faith is believing..., reminded me of the verse, "1 Now faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen. 2 For our ancestors won God’s approval by it. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by God’s command, so that what is seen has been made from things that are not visible."  Heb 11:1-2
