The Spirit lives to set us free so let's walk in the light of God.
I fail sometimes to acknowledge the Holy Spirit's potentials although He is always with me. I pray that He gives me the gift of Fortitude and Strength to carry on to do what is right. Help me to please God instead of pleasing my fellow men.

Never forget, Rom 11:29 For God's Gifts and His Call can never be withdrawn. GW So keep trying, continue to seek His Will and Way for you. Never think He will give up on you, it is not in His Nature. "Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you. Matt 7:7
Right now there are people who, need what The Gift God gave you. They need you to operate in that Gift. 4 Now as we have many parts in one body, and all the parts do not have the same function, 5 in the same way we who are many are one body in Christ and individually members of one another. 6 According to the grace given to us, we have different gifts: If prophecy, use it according to the standard of one’s faith; 7 if service, in service; if teaching,r in teaching; 8 if exhorting, in exhortation; giving, with generosity; leading, with diligence; showing mercy, with cheerfulness. Rom 12:4-7
7 A demonstration of the Spirit is given to each person to produce what is beneficial: 8 to one is given a message of wisdom through the Spirit, to another, a message of knowledge by the same Spirit, 9 to another, faith by the same Spirit, to another, gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10 to another, the performing of miracles, to another, prophecy, to another, distinguishing between spirits, to another, different kinds of languages, to another, interpretation of languages. 11 But one and the same Spirit is active in all these, distributing to each person as He wills. 1 Cor 12:7-11

When you Operate in The Spirit, you operate not in the flesh. It is through your spirit that The Holy Spirit moves.
16 I say then, walk by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is against the Spirit, and the Spirit desires what is against the flesh; these are opposed to each other, so that you don’t do what you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Gal 5:17-18
Many often avoid what appears to be out of their control. Yes, all working through The Spirit in Church or the coming together unto The Lord, needs to under those whom God has put in charge. Sadly though, many Pastors have chosen to avoid The Gifts of The Spirit, for some have falsely or acted without appropriate conduct, as spoken according to The Word. All the while there are so many who are hungry for The Spirit. We do have Freedom in The Spirit, yet not out of order.
We learn and study The Word. Not just about The Spirit, but learn to grow and mature according to The Word. Then through Prayer, fasting, and going to those who are mature in The Lord and who knows and operates in The Spirit. We go to them seeking confirmation, what we have learned from Prayer. It is better to ask them before, we tell them what we have heard. Some will seek those out they have been told, what they have been shown. For most they start out slowly, still whatever The Gift it is never bigger than Jesus. Who ever operates in The Gifts are never bigger than Christ. For all things are for and unto His Glory, as well as the edification of others. To discover the true definition of humbling, put yourself ahead of Jesus and others and operate in your Gift. We all learn according to how much we are willing to yield.

14 All those led by God’s Spirit are God’s Sons. 15 For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father! ” 16 The Spirit Himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God’s Children, 17 and if Children, also Heirs — Heirs of God and Coheirs with Christ — seeing that we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him. Rom 8:14-17
Let His Word show us how. Let His Will be done in us, as we surrender to The Spirit and His Leading. To walk in The Spirit is to, yield to our wills; our flesh, to step out in Faith as we obey His Leading us. We may hear what to share; feel lead to share, or where to go and to whom to speak. Our motives must be for His Glory and others edification. If we go expecting someone to see us as anything but, a servant; a messenger, we will most likely learn a new shade of humble. And, if you did not know, humble has a great many shades.

How do we walk in The Spirit? With a humbled heart, an opened and yielded spirit and will. We walk in obedience, which is how we speak and share in The Spirit. Since He knows our hearts and desires, He will meet us there. As we surrender we will go farther, according to His Plan and Purpose. This is Walking in The Spirit. There is more, however this is how we start.

Hi Chris Would say am sorry to hear that although when ever I have those rough patches I find The Lord is right there giving me strength causing me to grow. And more often than not bringing a revelation to me.
Continue in prayer Praise Him for all times He is with you .
