Have you ever encountered a tense situation and surprised yourself with an out-of- character reaction?

One way to prevent such inconsistency is through the biblical practice of meditation.

When you diligently and regularly cultivate a lifestyle of biblical meditation , you store a wealth of God's wisdom and God's truth.

Since the SOURCE of the scripture is God, you need His help to allow the word of God to penetrate your heart: Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures (Luke 24:45). To fully comprehend God's perspective, you must ponder and weigh the content of His Scripture, asking God to speak to your innermost being. The Lord will give you understanding in everything (2 Timothy 2:7)

Then when a crisis arrives, your inner person is ready for the unexpected. The words of your mouth and the deeds of your hands will flow from your heart, which has been nourished in and guarded by God, with wisdom from the Helper the Holy Spirit who will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you (JOHN 14:26)
