One thing that has been on my mind lately are 2 barely noticable verses in John 1: 12 "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." This is way too deep for me. Is this 'who we are' the moment we believe?

When we repent our sins and ask forgiveness God accepts us as His child. However if we don't truly follow him and turn back to the ways of the wicked world, God will not allow us to enter into his kingdom. Once saved always saved is not God's plan of salvation. God will NEVER allow evil into His kingdom. If that were the case then satin as a fallen angel would have never been kicked out of heaven.
