Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Lord Bless,

LT

John 18:11 The cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?

Comment by shaggyraggs on December 27, 2014 at 4:07am

Lord Jesus, I thank You for giving me another day to praise You and give honor and  glory to Your Holy name. Thank You for all that You have done for me and my family in the past, the present and what You will do in the future.You are so worthy to be praised!

Lord, I come to You now, asking for peace in my family, Your peace which surpasses all understanding. I pray, Lord, that you minister to their hearts, their minds and their spirits. Meet them at their point of need. I ask also, Lord, that you scan my heart and create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. Help us Lord to be all that You created us to be and enable us to do all You created us to do. I plead the Blood of Jesus over my family as well as myself.

Lord, I lift up my pastor and and his wife. They are in mourning for the loss of a dear uncle. Strengthen them Lord as they go through this experience. I lift up the members of my church congregation.  I lift up my community Father, especially the children and those who don't know You. Lord Jesus, I lift up to You all those who come to this place.  In Your Precious Name, Amen.

In the Mighty Name of Jesus, I lift up all gathered here in Your Name.  Father the year is fast approaching its end and soon a new year will be usshered in.  This draaws us a step closer to Your second coming.  I pray that we all would be ready when He comes back.

Father I thank You for all the blessings received this year.  I thank You Lord for the lady in Hubert's life.  She seems to have a great influence on him. .  I pray that if she is Your choice for her, bind them together in a love that can stand all tests.

I pray for progrss in the lives of my other children and all the youth in our community.  Father guide them in all their endeavours.  Those who are awaiting  their resuls are in your hand.  Be with them no matter how their results turn out and direct and give them courage to face the future.  I pray in Jesus' Mighty Name.  Amen.

Thank You for all answered prayaers.

What a powerful group of Prayer Warriors our God has assembled  here in this Prayer Room......with a dedicated, loving moderator.......Elaine.

O Lord, consecrate this congregation of Christian petitioners who are praying just now during this Christmas season, who have been worshipping you  years long through prayer, petition, and  thanksgiving......that they will  continue to stand the gaps in this world.

That these Christian soldiers  will raise up casualties from Your ranks, that all will be able to carry on in "running the race" for you.

Bless them all, Father - the long and the short, and the tall.......in the mighty Name of Jesus.

Amen.

Sorry guys. I got a bit behind. Lord I lift up Russell & Cindy. I pray that You touch their hearts & they would turn to You as Seek is trying to be a witness to this couple. I pray you protect Cindy from any harm that she could possibly be enduring. Bring this couple to You so those babies will be in Your house & also come to You. Give Seek the words through Your Spirit & I pray she has planted a seed that will grow & attach to the Vine.

I want to bring to You the family of the young lady who passed at such a young age. I know this Christmas must be devastating to her parents. You know Father what it is like to lose Your Child. As a mother, I cannot imagine the pain. Please give them strength that will carry them through this time & I pray they will be able to use this testimony to serve You & help others. I also bring Linda to You. I pray for her health issues as You are our Jehovah Rapha. Please bring her some comfort & some ease of her pain. She has suffered for many years Lord & I pray that You restore her to the health that she once knew.

My heart is also heavy with the burden of Jane & Elaine's loss of their spouse this holiday season. Just bring a peace & comfort as they try so hard to lean on Your understanding & not their own. Jane said to me that what she does know about life in this world, is it has a 100% death rate. As true as that statement is, it doesn't relieve the pain. We know that we will all face this loss in our lives or they will experience the loss of us. You do give us comfort when You told us "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" As Your servants, we know without a shadow of a doubt that we'll be in Your arms once we've left this earth. In the meantime, may we do everything that You have called us to do. May we sow seeds along our path. May we testify of Your greatness & Your mercy. May everyone see you in everything we say & do. May we give You the glory which You have placed us on this earth for. May we love You as much as You deserve to be loved. May we love our neighbors as well as our enemies regardless of the pain they may cause. We could never understand the pain you went thru walking to Golgatha, The Place of the Skull, Calvary. What the enemy meant for evil You Father God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. May we run the race & lean on our brothers & sisters in You when we don't want to walk another step. May we never be ashamed of our pain. May we always use it for Your glory. In Jesus' Name

Psalm 24

1{A Psalm of David.} The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

2For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

3Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?

4He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

5He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

6This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

7Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

8Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

9Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

10Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

Amen

This reminded me of you Elaine, when I read it...This is for you my friend.

This will be a time for you to serve as witnesses.—Luke 21:13

Life is a steep climb, and it does the heart good to have somebody “call back” and cheerily beckon us on up the high hill. We are all climbers together, and we must help one another. This mountain climbing is serious business, but glorious. It takes strength and steady step to find the summits. The outlook widens with the altitude. If anyone among us has found anything worth while, we ought to “call back.”

If you have gone a little way ahead of me, call back—
’Twill cheer my heart and help my feet along the stony track;
And if, perchance, Faith’s light is dim, because the oil is low,
Your call will guide my lagging course as wearily I go.

Call back, and tell me that He went with you into the storm;
Call back, and say He kept you when the forest’s roots were torn;
That, when the heavens thunder and the earthquake shook the hill,
He bore you up and held you where the very air was still.

Oh, friend, call back, and tell me for I cannot see your your face,
They say it glows with triumph, and your feet bound in the race;
But there are mists between us and my spirit eyes are dim,
And I cannot see the glory, though I long for word of Him.

But if you’ll say He heard you when your prayer was but a cry,
And if you’ll say He saw you through the night’s sin-darkened sky
If you have gone a little way ahead, oh, friend, call back—
’Twill cheer my heart and help my feet along the stony track.
