JESUS SET US FREE

____ JESUS WILL SET YOU FREE____

Don't let fear become your prison,
don't let shackles keep you bound,
for in the name of Jesus,
there is freedom to be found.

In the valley there is darkness,
fear makes growth and doubts ascend,
but in the precious name of Jesus,
light is seen again.

Your spirit has no fetters,
for God's child is never bound.
It's the human side that gathers
in what Satan throws around.

He stands aside just waiting
for the moment we are down.
Then marches in his army,
till we're weak and tightly bound.

If you live more in the valley,
then on the mountain high.
There has to be a reason,
search your heart and find out why.

Don't let Satan make you live a life,
of fear, and doubt, and dread,
for it also makes, a mockery of,
the blood that Jesus shed.

So put on the armor furnished,
like we're told to in His word,
stand up straight to Satan,
make sure your words are heard.

"You no longer can torment me,
for the Lord has set me free,
your arrows though they strike me
will not penetrate through me.

I'll not give you any freedom,
in my life you'll not be found,
for when Jesus died on Calvary,
He broke all chains that bound."

Then keep your eyes upon the Savior,
let Him wash your fears away,
let the blood He shed on Calvary,
cleanse the wounds of yesterdays.

The Lord is ever willing,
He'll meet you more, then just half way.
He will guide you through His spirit,
so you may have a brighter day.
